zFiend
Has anyone found suitable Metal Gamin Proxies? My problem with the real ones is I don't get them.. One is a lizard? One is a sumo wrestler? And the last one is a four spike armed little guy with a broken bucket on its head? So yeah, I need metal gamins but I just can't get behind the originals. Clawz
Hmm, I think it'd depend on what look you're going for. In theory, any vaguely demonic model you like the look of could be modified to have more distinct metal-y bits and cuts (rivets et al) - There's probably a bunch of really cheap, really bizarre minis in the Reaper Bones range that would work.. zFiend
I need to look through that range then. Cheers.
SpectreEliteGaming
I have actively been looking for this as well. Not because I don't like them (I actually really like them) but because I hate buying "doubles" - I'd rather paint something new not just another set. If I hire one or two with Levy I am usually short one. I have pretty good knowledge of most common lines and I have yet to find anything suitable honestly. Wolsung was the closest I got, but they just look too different. There is nothing in the Reaper line or from Helldorado (usually my go-to's) I was happy with. If anyone finds a specific mini to fit the bill I would really appreciate it too
Hateful Darkblack
I generally use the metal Abominations. Combined with the plastics, that's eight model sculpts available, which seems like plenty. (I also paint names on the bases, and name my Abominations after Dwarves and Deadly Sins). That won't work in a year or two for new Abomination users, but it works great for me!
Clawz
Hmm, something occurred to me and I quick-looked; I wonder if anything from the Achtung! Cthulhu range would work: I don't know if it fits the Gamin's rules/fluff any, but these guys certainly look sharp enough, and the hybrid look may not work, but these are already mecha...
