Merry Christmas!

A quick question for you, can blasts hit either its original target and/ or hit twice at a model? The reason i ask this is we have a player in our group who insists on doble hitting with his Sonnia fire blasts. And we cant find a excact rule that contradicts this, so we have let him do this even though I am certain you cant. So please, if this is not legal, show me where in the rulebook it is written, so I can show it to him next time. Hope you understand my question, and sry if this is answered before ( if so, just point it out to me).

All models whose bases are touched or overlapped by one or more Blast Markers are affected,...more stuff.

Page 50. The one or more quite covers no double or triple tapping a model. And the target that the blasts came from is not effected by the blasts.

Agree with Godlyness. Blasters can hit themselves (some have a rule that makes them safe, but it's the exception), and you cannot hit a model with the same blast twice.

So the key to this is that it just says, touched by one or more blast markers are affected, and not that it states"by each blast marker". I just need to find a totally clear way to explain this.

For a visual, just think of the initial damage + blasts all going off at once, not in succession. That's how I try and explain it to people anyway.

Chant "one or more one or more" until he actually registers that it's one or more blasts not for each blast.
