SurreyLee
Okay, me and some guys are going on a journey to Malifolk in Norwich tomorrow and for the journey i've prepared a mix cd. MudgeBlack
My first thought for Seamus was a medley of Iron Maiden, the Prowler and Charlotte the Harlot. Nico - Soundgarden, Man in a Box or the Meteors, Graveyard Stomp Dougy - Edgar Winter, Frankenstein Lynch - Motorhead, Ace of Spades Zorada - the Meteors, Voodoo Rhythem 'Dita - Marty Robbins, Big Iron Brewmaster - Fear, More Beer or George Thorogood, One scotch, one bourbon, and one beer. Marcus - Skindred, Nobody Great list and great idea. I know Machines of Loving Grace, Golgotha Tenement Blues needs to be there somewhere, just can't place it (maybe later for Levi??). Soundwave
For some unknown reason, Nick Cave makes me think of Seamus. Sebastian: Zoraida, if you ignore the video... Jacob Lynch
TJUK
In my imagining of Malifaux, I don't really think many masters outside the neverborn would mesh well with metal music. Saying that I think you're spot on with Tara and Von Schill. Personally, I see malifaux as full of dark humour, subtlety and misfortune as opposed to aggression. I quite like Satchmo singing Mack the knife for Seamus. I think it encapsulates the slightly comic, twisted nature of his serial killing. SurreyLee
Hey chaps, some wonderful stuff so far. Obviously you only get to listen to so much music and you've so far opened me up to some thing i just never would have heard of before. Brilliant. Keep them coming. SurreyLee
I should also say that the Stagger Lee track by Nick Cave is excellent for Seamus...but...a warning to all those easily offended, the lyrics are somewhat testy...8)
TJUK
Thought of a couple more this morning on the train. Gun - Emiliana Torrini for Pandora... I know she doesn't actually have a gun but it's the general feel, talking someone into killing himself. School Boy - Winton Marsalis for Lynch. Again just the general feel of the song works for him I think. http://youtu.be/jywQ4zqCm9w
Wake of Godzilla
For a long time I've thought that the lyrics for Monster by Paramore could work for what little we know about Jack Daw. http://www.metrolyrics.com/monster-lyrics-paramore.html
