Lightning Bugs, Merris and Pulses and Blasts...Oh My

Here is a question for y'all, if a Lightning Bug is in Merris' immune aura and is affected by Black Blood, can the Bug suffer 1 damage to take a 1 AP action?

I guess it comes down to if you are immune to damage are you still suffering damage?

Exhaust Trail: Friendly models in  6 are immune to damage from  and .

Black Blood: All models without Black Blood within :pulse1 suffer 1 damage when this model suffers damage.

Being immune to a rule means you are not effected by it. So you are immune to pulses therefore you never take damage.

So to answer your question no. It does not say you may take damage or may ignore pulses. You just don't while affected by those abilitys

No, if you're immune to the damage you're not suffering damage...

Nope, If you are immume to damage you don't suffer damage. As such, the Knock it Off! ability will never trigger, and you cannot make additional attacks.
