Out of Activation swings with the Greatsword

Lilith's Greatsword gives a   on Damage flips if she "didn't Charge during this Activation". So what happens when she swings out of Activation (for example due to the Living Blade Upgrade or Comply from Sybelle)? I guess she doesn't get the boost. Right?

Seems like she wouldn't get the + to damage because of the "during this Activation" part, but I'm frankly not really sure either...

I would think the opposite, the part that she "didn't charge during this activation" unlocks the   to her for the rest of the turn?

Its a two part question.

 

One an obey style action or an out of activation action doesn't count as this models activation.

 

So does this model activate yes/no. No as the model is doing the action as part of an action outside of activation.

 

Does this model charge yes/no. No the model hasn't charged as part of the action

 

Therefore the model has not charged during its activation, thus this model gets the Plus flip on damage as "...if this model did not charge during this activation" as neither negative condition was met you get your plus flip.

That is not at all correct. It is not an activation at all. It is an action. She will not get the

This Activation = the Activation currently happening.

 

Did Lady Justice Charge during the current Activation? If yes, no + flip.

 

So unless she managed to Charge during Sybelle's Activation she would get the + while being complied.

But is a model under the influence of obey classed as an activation? Because if it is, then this affect many models and abilities.

The model isn't activating, is it? Otherwise obeying a paralyzed model removes it. Same with slow, etc.

So obey your own models prior to their activation to remove these conditions?

Lilith's sword gains a if she didn't charge during this Activation. 

 

It's currently Sybelle's activation (even though Justice is taking an action), so as long as Lilith didn't charge during this Activation (ie, during Sybelle's activation), her sword would gain the   to damage.

Exactly my same problem. Well, seems to me that living blade might have to go into your "experimentation" list.
