not trying to be rude here but all these questions can be answered in the rule book.....i think its on page 11 or something for :+fate:-fate modifiers

Good to point out where it is in the book.

@OP - no problem asking though........there are so many people on here that can easily answer such a question in a couple seconds.....in a game this complex plenty of things can get missed in the book.....especially if you're new to the game and don't have anyone to teach you.

Follow up from a new player on this (I knew about the inability to cheat with  :-fate and Flay), but let's say I attack with Baby Kade, and have a neg to flip for damage + have the Flay trigger go off. So, that means if I flip from the deck a 3 and an 7 I'd normally have to take the 3, but could then cheat an 11, for example, out of my hand due to the trigger and it would be a severe damage at the end?

Just trying to make sure I have that rule correct (and sorry for piggy backing this off the O.P.'s question but it sprang to mind when someone mentioned Flay).

Yeah, Flay is pretty brutal like that. There are one or two exceptions, for example say you hit and end on a  :-fate :-fate Flip for Damage. You flip your 3 cards and the Black Joker comes up. Flay wont allow you to cheat the Damage then. Also Impossible to Wound prevents cheating damage.
