0 Fenton Crack
If there is a negative flip on any flip, absent a special rule or ability (ie Flay), you cannot cheat.
0 The Godlyness
not trying to be rude here but all these questions can be answered in the rule book.....i think its on page 11 or something for modifiers
0 Cornelious1424
Fenton has it correct. You cannot cheat fate in any scenario if their is a , unless you have a special rule that says other wise. It's what makes playing up against Ressers such a pain, due to Ward to Wound, you more often than not are at a on damage.

0 asrian
Follow up from a new player on this (I knew about the inability to cheat with and Flay), but let's say I attack with Baby Kade, and have a neg to flip for damage + have the Flay trigger go off. So, that means if I flip from the deck a 3 and an 7 I'd normally have to take the 3, but could then cheat an 11, for example, out of my hand due to the trigger and it would be a severe damage at the end? Just trying to make sure I have that rule correct (and sorry for piggy backing this off the O.P.'s question but it sprang to mind when someone mentioned Flay). 0 MasterDisaster
Yeah, Flay is pretty brutal like that. There are one or two exceptions, for example say you hit and end on a :-fate Flip for Damage. You flip your 3 cards and the Black Joker comes up. Flay wont allow you to cheat the Damage then. Also Impossible to Wound prevents cheating damage.
