Flying skunk
So if I grab and drop somebody and they fall from a ht 2 or lower they would take no damage correct?
0 The Godlyness
models moving off elevations and falling suffer no damage if the fall was 2” or less. If the fall was more than 2” the fall deals 1 damage per 1”, or fraction thereof, fallen. Example: A model that falls off of a Ht 4 Cliff would suffer 4 damage. A model that falls from a Ht 6 Cliff but lands on a Ht 3 surface would suffer 3 damage. you are correct. its right there in the rule book
0 Hateful Darkblack
You sure about that? I believe Ht 3 is 1 Wd, Ht 4 is 2 Wd, Ht 5 is 3 Wd, etc. And yeah, Ht 1-2 is no damage.
0 The Godlyness
LOL HT 3 is 3 wounds. ht 4 is 4 5 is 5. 6 is 6 wounds 2 or less 0 wounds. just for your referance Place target enemy model within 5” of this model, then place this model within 2" of the target. The target suffers falling damage as if it had fallen from a height equal to the amount by which this model's final duel total exceeded the target's, up to a maximum of 6. If the model is killed, this model counts as having killed it. Also what i wrote above is straight from the rule book not me
0 Lewkas
Godlyness is correct
0 Scorpion0x17
Page 44 of the rules manual:Models moving off elevations and falling suffer no damage if the fall was 2" or less. If the fall was more than 2" the fall deals 1 damage per 1", or fraction thereof, fallen. Example: A model that falls off of a Ht 4 cliff would suffer 4 damage. A model that falls from a Ht 6 cliff but lands on a Ht 3 surface would suffer 3 damage. So, yes, if Kaeris exceeds the target model's duel total by 2 or less, when performing Grab and Drop, the target does not suffer any damage, but, if she exceeds the target's duel total by more than 2 then the target model suffers damage equal to the amount she exceeded it by, up to a maximum of 6.
0 Flying skunk
Thanks. Can I grab and drop somebody on top of a building then next turn drop em off the building and add the extra ht?
0 Scorpion0x17
No, the falling damage comes only from the duel difference, not from any difference in terrain elevation.
0 Flying skunk
Ahh bummer so it's not worth it haha
0 Scorpion0x17
It's always worth Grabbing and Dropping! There is something else you can do with respect to Grab and Drop and buildings, though - elevation differences are added to horizontal distance when checking range for melee and engagements - so, by placing the Grabbed and Dropped model at one elevation, and Kaeris at another elevation, you can break engagement between the two models! 0 Scorpion0x17
Oh, and another option you have is to take both Grab and Drop and Blinding Flame - Grab and Drop a model onto a building, within 3" of the building edge, place Kaeris up there with it, on the other side of the model from the building edge, then cast Flaming Halo, and trigger Blinding Flame to push the model off the edge of the building, thereby inflicting falling damage on it (if the building is taller than ht 2)!

0 EntrepeNinja
You can also take the pyre marker or flame wall upgrade, drag them, do falling damage, and place them in the hazardous terrain. I do like how batmanesque it is to take someone to the top of a building and them push em back off.... lol ENinja
0 bertmac
The pyre marker upgrade is her 2nd limited upgrade so cant be taken with grab and drop
0 Scorpion0x17
The pyre marker upgrade is her 2nd limited upgrade so cant be taken with grab and drop That is correct. However, Born Of Fire allows you to place a single Pyre Marker when Kaeris kills something with Immolate, so it would take more to set up and/or is more situational, but, you could still do what ENinja suggests that way. 0 EntrepeNinja
Saaaaaaaaad. I guess that batman building push is tops, at least for brutal and creative. After you've pushed them off the building you light them up and immolate.
