Finish the Job in Sabotage

With regards to placing a scheme marker with "Finish the Job" does it matter if it is a (2) Interact action to place the marker or not?

 

The situation in question was a Death Marshall was in base contact with the terrain it had to place a sabotage marker in when he was killed. He was killed before he could take a (2) Interact to place the marker. Once killed he used "Finish the Job" to place a scheme marker in base contact with himself, but within the noted Sabotage terrain. Would this count as a sabotaged piece of terrain?

I'd say a scheme marker is a scheme marker. Thye have finish the job they drop a maker, the Scheme requires a marker and you provided it, so it should be legit unless the Scheme specifies something else.

I don't have the rule book with me, but if I'm not correct it only says for sabotage you take a (2) Interact Action to place a scheme marker within the terrain. So the marshall dropping the scheme marker when he dies should count in theory.

The Sabotage strategy specifically needs you to place Sabotage markers, which are different to Scheme markers. Finish the Job only places Scheme markers so Aussie's correct, the Death Marshall couldn't place a Sabotage marker as a result of Finish the Job.

Every other Scheme says "Scheme Marker", Sabotage is a Scheme, but uses a "Sabotage Marker"
