Slippery: This model can only be engaged or targeted by melee Actions from enemy models in base contact with it. I suspect the intention behind this ability it that it only affects melee actions and the model can be targeted by any other action normally. I just wonder if the wording leaves any room for interpretation that enemy models can target model with Slippery only with melee actions and to do so they need to be in base contact. Meaning no shooting or other actions allowed? Edit: I just realised this question was already ask on the forum. Apologies. Could an admin delete this one?

So this is what I finally managed to paint in December. I hoped for more, but these costed me quite some time. When I move away form "paint as on picture", thinking process takes surprisingly long. I made some better photos now. @muraki I have no idea how you could paint so many awesome models in one month... Is that Waldo on dead Teddy? I really like subtle pattern on the skirt on the second to last photo. @Viruk Color transitions on this blue-purple smoke is absolutely stunning. The whole model is. I wish I could see your painting process, really curious about your technique.

Oh, seems you're right. It is worded slightly differently from, for example, Titania's crew where underbrush markers say "...anywhere on the table, at least within 2" fron any other Markers". The fact that Lamps don't have this "anywhere on the table" line, made me automatically assume it is within, without second thought.... Thanks!

Hi All. Looking at Ancient Lamps skill, in scenarios where enemy does not create his own markers, you can create the lamps only around strategy markers? So if strategy pool was to change to strats not involving markers, Lamplighters wouldn't be creating any markers this way? (One exception I can Imagine is creating them around a Moorwraith, but that's limited to area around Deployment zone). Ancient Lamps: After Deployment, Create two Dim Ht 4 Concealing Lamp Markers anywhere at least 4" from another Marker. Seeker models are unaffected by friendly Lamp Marker's Concealing trait.

You can field kin crew without many more purchases. Just consider Sammy or Gracie and you should be fine. Sommer is a summoner now, so you probably want to have a big pool of models to choose from, which contradicts of your idea to be compact. Insee you could relatively easy build Uilix crew if I you like piggies! Tricksy is a really cool keyword but it wold be significant investment. This is a crew I would recommend to someone who wants to limit himself to single or just few masters, because Mah and ger models can have very different playstyles depending on if you go traps, mechanical, roosters or a mix of all. But if you want to mostly base on your current collection, then maybe try something else. My recommendation for you would be Brewmaster, Ophelia and Ulix.

In past few years I transferred to Malifaux completely, falling in love with beautiful models and awesome system. Also, painting is my favourite aspect of the hobby and I realised it is much more realistic to beautifully paint a skirmish crew, than to do the same with 200 Tyranids! My main and favourite faction is Bayou, but with majority of this collection done I'm looking into Neverborn. I'm also painting for my girlfriend who is into the Arcanists and Explorer's Society. These are my main goals for 2022: 1. Jedza's crew. 2. Winter themed table. 3. Dreamer's crew.

This post made me realise, that models that I really want to paint and already have in my drawers are worth 209 SS alone! Also w winter themed table, and some new incoming releases with with alt masters... I have no choice but to pledge Tyrant, to not drawn in plastic!

@Shock & Awe Rainbow colours really suit this model and work great with ogange and light blue. Should look like that on his stat card! Pumpkins on Carver's base are hand made? They look lovely! As for your final project, I was thinking to rebottle my paints as well. A youtuber I like (Squidmar) use eyedroppers for citadel paints and it really must be much more convenient to use.

Hi All, I started painting Sophie with pretty standard colour scheme, but the I thought she is too good looking sculpt to be treated this way! So first off, I repainted the cloth on her back to be "grandma style blanket", then changed the tent to red, as it felt better choice to complement new blanket. Finally I found the courage to try source lighting from the globe above her back. I was really scared of this, because I really didn't want to ruin the model and I never tried that before. Luckily I'm white happy with the result. The base is still to be finished, but that is something I plan on doing in a batch, when more Seekers are painted.

Hi All. Lucky Emisary Steamroller action says that model is pushes 12". If push is interrupted by destructible terrain, that terrain is removed and the push continues. If Push is interrupted by Impassable Terrain, this model suffers 2 damage. Am I correct to assume, in cases of ice pillars that are both destructible and Impassable, Emisary making steamroller action would destroy an ice pillar, suffer damage and continue his push?

Can't find the card for this upgrade anywhere. Niether app nor among cards available on Wyrd website. Does it actually do anything? Looking at "Engulf" action name and the fact that Goo's basic attack can target buried models with this upgrade, I would assume it does have some bury effect? Or maybe I get it wrong and it is just a blank upgrade?

Some of the cards in my app, that have received updates in April errata only have their back updated, but front remains unchanged (Colette for example). Is this a general problem, or just something wrong with my app?

One more question to Coryphee Duet in association with Mechanical Rider. Am I correct to assume that duet can potentially perform 8 non-bonus actions in a turn? 1) Duet makes it's 2 action and then as a bonus action is replaced with 2x Coryphee 2) The one Coryphee that dosn't count as activated uses its bonus action be become Duet again and takes 2 actions as duet. 3) Mechanical Rider uses his 5xTome trigger on Revel in Creation to Activate Duet 4) Duet takes two actions and then breaks apart as bonus action into 2x Coryphee 5) The one Coryphee that dosn't count as activated uses its bonus action be become Duet again and takes 2 actions as duet. Total 8 non-bonus actions performed by duet.

Can a model that normally isn't allowed to use soulstones discard one to prevent being executed? I always assumed it can, but want to make sure. Execute: The target may either discard a card or a soulstone. If it does neither, it is killed, ignoring Demise Abilities.

Hi Guys, couple of rule questions that came up in my recent games: 1) Mechanical Rider: Revel in Creation trigger ♣♣♣♣♣ Revelation: Any friendly non-Master model may Activate immediately after this model's Activation has ended, even if the ave already activated this Turn. Does the model that I want to reactivate with this trigger need to be in LoS to Mechanical Rider? 2) Coryphee Duet: Bonus Action Dance Apart: This model suffers irreducible damage equal to half of its current Health. Replace this model with two Coryphee models. Is the damage suffered rounded up in case of odd numbers? Duet with 5 HP left would suffer 3 dmg? 3) Stitched Together: Sharp Claws trigger ♦Rake the Eyes: Choose a suit. The target must reveal top three cards of its Fate Deck and discard any of the chosen suit. Place the rest back on top of the deck in any order. Since the cards are revealed, should opposing player be aware of the order in which the cards are put back on the deck?

Does anyone else feel like the new war pigs are more like war piglets? Just finished building mine, and I'm quite disappointed by their size. Especially compared to M2 model.

Finisher trigger: if marker was removed, action successfully hits the target, target has shield 1, Finisher trigger was declared What happens in terms of timing: 1) Shielded absorbs 1 dmg from damage flip result and then suffers only +1 damage from injured, but without additional +1 from shielded because it was already used to reduce dmg orm the flip? 2) Targt suffers +2 dmg (one from injured, second from shielded) before shielded condition is used to adsorb dmg? Doppleganger What happens if selected action has built in suit or plus? Are they retained and only stat value from copied action is set to 7, or are any additional suits/modifiers lost? Egzample- in Crossroads crew led by Wrath, Doppleganger copies Gatling Gun from Envy. Would the stat of copied action be 7 or 7[+]?

If Desolation Engine gets killed by enemy model does it give Bounty Tokens to the enemy? This replace effect has "instead" word, so I could believe it gives nothing to the enemy, but that doesn't really feel in spirit of the game. Demise (Lost Focus): After this model is killed, it is instead Replaced with an Abomination, then the Abomination Heals 4.
