I've heard Envy makes a good leader but I have concerns about not being about to steal fast from enemies as he won't gain any benefit from having it, but I don't play arcanists so I haven't tried it

Could you give me a short description of each member? Don’t have access to the cards and I’m thinking of running them as bayou

That's a huge power jump, since you will almost always be engaging the model (Its a trigger on a :ToS-Melee: attack for fingers. I know other models have the trigger as well).

I think a big use of it is a way for Fingers to  "obey" friendly models, as well as powering up Akaname and Whiskey Gamin by giving them poison. But its also good when you're in a large fight and they get to hit their friends

I’m aware of that and have enjoyed giving the whiskey golem another 2 ap but I don’t think it’s unreasonable or overpowered at all. A lot of people like myself and @wizuriel had been playing like that anyway out of assumption till I got called out on it today

  3. Hello bayou dwellers!

Today down in Melbourne we had a henchman hardcore tourney and I played the tri chi. It felt really good except I think there should be a minor tweak to fingers’ ‘small favour’ trigger that says that the model counts as friendly during the action. It’s a great trigger but too often I’d be engaging the enemy model so they couldn’t shoot or charge or anything. Would really appreciate the tweak

Stuffed piglets: should have a maximum TN for their bacon bomb, to avoid the pigapult only issue. @HipsterWhale

Gremlin Taxidermist: its overcosted just from bringing a stuffed pigglet with him. Give them a proper cost, and if someone wants the piglet, they can hire it. Maybe they could get their cost reduced and instead of deploying a piglet, deploy a corpse marker.

Surely they replace pet project with an ability called ‘here’s one I prepared earlier’

It makes my heart flutter to hear my "Charlie bit me" idea gaining traction, at least among the community lol.

Mate, I can finally die happily if it goes through. I haven’t wanted something more than this absolute gem since the bottle’o started opening at 6

Bah, gremlins these days and their immunity to poison damage. :P Why, I remember when even for Whiskey Golem, you were supposed to just accept that a gremlin heal was "Heal 1/2/3 and then suffer 1 damage at the end of the turn from your Poison, and like it☠️."

Literally everyone: damn gremlins and their *squints* poison immunity!

Also Piggy Back Ride gives us a hint to what Georgy&Olaf will look like ;)

The model is pretty obviously based off a character from mad max 3 called Master Blaster so check that out if you wanna get an idea of what he’ll probably look like

  8. Hey, just s little thing I noticed that I think may have been overlooked. Merris has the infamous keyword but for whatever reason doesn’t have showboating? I don’t know if this is a balance thing or not but I don’t think it would be OP or anything to give her her secondary crews ability

  9. They’re a decent tech choice against armoured crews and robots but they lack general synergy. Maybe give them something to electrify a pit trap? That could be cool

    1) a whole crew mass Concentrating T1 is meh from a fun perspective and they need to in order for it to work

    2) using focus for duels is way more productive because its usually more than 2 damage difference.

What do you propose to change it?

Even the flat 2 doesn't sound particularly appealing unless the crew can get a decent way to get focused.

In my games with the Ortegas, I've found that as you can be using bravado as a primary mode of transport making it actually pretty easy if you use it right. What do you suggest?

  12. Tough as nails is fine as long as you really make use of bravado as your primary was to move which I find is fine anyway because you really have to make use of their huge threat range. Starting turn 2 8’ inches up the board with a 12’ range and focus 2 is no joke. I do agree that 1 focus for 1 damage is a bit expensive though, maybe 1 focus for 2 damage?

Back to Abuela, I like the idea of making ‘on wheels’ a ‘may’ ability because then she could actually be an ok tar pit who can hand out slow and focus to keep herself alive and relevant without pushing herself out of the model she’s trying to keep in her aura
