Two Red Jokers.... Weeks 3-6 should be interesting! Biggest struggle I had on the night was players who simply hadn't put the practice in (despite me banging the drum repeatedly in the months leading up to it!!) I'll try to grab updated Arsenal Sheets end of Week 4
  2. Got a whole campaign planned soon 8 tables differing themes. I'll link you a post to my page when I post a report.
  3. Being a small island I'll be surprised if @Manxfaux isn't a member of our gaming club already but I'll drop him a message just in case! Hoping to run different campaign/tournament formats regular to keep the ball rolling and you never know - he might have missed it and the more the merrier! For a game that's never been played before here got 16 interested (which is an achievement in itself)
  4. I love the ruined tudor type house look - I'm hoping to create some that are intact eventually for a town currently thriving. Here's what I own - still work in progress on some bits...! And in game....
  5. Just come across this in my search for big tournaments to go to next year. 3 from the Isle of Man certainly interested next year! Do you do reports of the days progress? Be fascinated to read. And hardly any hotels within a nearby radius. It's more middle of nowhere than my rock
  6. Oh if you want parcels that go on jollies I think mine was exceptional. Bought some very expensive items, but gave them my drivers licence in order to copy my address down. As I know my hand writings scruffy... Little did I know he'd put my destination country as Isle of Mayo....MAYO... instead of Man. No idea what happened there.... So it started off on it's little journey making its way to Newark Depot - YES I thought - come to poppa. Newark Depot to Curacao... odd but ok.... Curacao to the BVI... hopping around for nearly a week.... eh? Back to Curacao... hung there for a few days, back to Newark. Newark to London now you'd think - they've realised there mistake....No... back to Curacao. Then I got really shirty with the merchant and said sort this out now in very polite terms (honest) So eventually it went Newark, London and the short leg to my rock - done
  7. May have lost a few competitors due to personal reasons - shall firm up the numbers on 29th when it's the deadline. Intro written though For those who may move here in future date we're firming up plans for Gaining Grounds, Tag Team, Enforcer Brawl & the beefed up Shifting Royalties next year
  8. The Chain of Command Gaming Group based @ The All Saints Church Hall, Douglas, Isle of Man - will be hosting the first ever Manx Malifaux Campaign from September 4th over 4 successive Mondays. Attendance at all nights isn't required (but most is certainly preferable). As myself and another campaign organiser will arrange interim games during the week should you be unable to make it. In the interests of boosting take up of the game we're running this Campaign for free - and with slightly stripped back Shifting Loyalties rules to make them as accessible to everyone as possible. The campaign is a narrative driven story over 4 weeks taking place over 6 games and 1 special event. We've structured these games so as to hopefully guarantee large swings in crew scores - so hopefully even on the last day anyone can win - mainly to encourage the new players So far we have 16 entrants, the majority of which have never played before so you're more than welcome to join in. Should you browse this forum and reside in my part of the world and not be aware of the hall. Please drop me a message as you're more than welcome to join! I'm hosting training events every Monday at the club with the aim to get everyone ready. Nice and simple rules pack: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BxCfJFTehEqtSTZSQWQxRi1kdGc 19th August edit: Doc Rules revised/Added finished off. Will be minor tweaks as me and fellow organiser continue to play test Our gaming group page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/21238835102/ Despite entry being Free myself and my fellow campaign organiser are funding a prize for the overall winner and a prize for best painted. We'd like to offer more but we're on a mad dash just trying to get sufficient terrain for 8+ tables (on top of a house renovation)...! Next year though! For those interested I'll post a Campaign report each week in the necessary part of the forum
  9. Nervermind guys - sorted it. Business card templates
  10. Lilith is a easy to play in comparison to some other masters (in my opinion) But... When you get used to the game - look at other models and how they can synergise with her... You can really start getting some interesting combos going. I eventually moved on from Lilith to other masters for some variance though.
  11. Suppose I best introduce myself having been here since February. I started playing in the middle of last year with the sole intent of going one crew and one crew only. So I bought Lilith and a ton of Neverborn... Then I bought Zoraida Then I bought Ophelia Then I bought Som'er.... Something went wrong.... I live on the cold harsh rock that is the Isle of Man - home to the magnificent TT races! Any questions feel free to drop me a PM (or on here)
  12. Hey Folks, First post (I think?) so bear with me - I've scoured the internet before coming here so struggling. I'm running our first campaign soon for our local club using the Shifting Loyalties book. In an attempt to make everything as user friendly as possible. (nearly all entrants have never played before so got an interesting training month ahead!) I'm wanting to take all the Skills & Equipment upgrades you can get from the campaign & put them on to cards to print. That way they can have it as a easily referred to reference when playing instead of having bundles of A4 sheets and scribbles. Does anyone know of (or even have) a template I can pilfer with at least 4 card space/designs per A4 page? Preferably Word but if I have to go Photoshop I will. I've worked out how to split an A4 into 4 equal sections just design it's not playing ball! Happy to do all the typing out and printing myself for the group - just need an attractive template!
