  1. Running a one night Hardcore Henchman at the All Saints Church Hall, Douglas, Isle of Man. Commences 7pm April 24th 4 games then prizes £3 entry Room for 26 6 currently confirmed. Planning of running one more HH before a GG September ish Paypal Entry (pm me)
  2. So after everyone enjoyed the Shifting Loyalties Campaign as there introduction to Malifaux in my local scene. We're switching to a more standard format. Gaining Grounds. Every Monday over 5 weeks @ the All Saints Church Hall from January 30th 2017. £5 Entry - all going to the prize fund. List & Payment must be submitted by January 23rd. Fixed Master, 70SS Model Pool. (I'm using the fixed Model Pool mechanism as a means to not discourage the new players. Some players have 10 masters and tons of models to select from. ) Each game - 50SS We'll have a table of prizes to select from and in the following order each will get to pick. (I may switch the order a little) 1st - Winner 2nd - Runner Up 3rd - 3rd 4th - Best Table* 5th - Painted Crew Raffle - If you enter a fully painted crew you'll be entered in a Raffle 6th - Biggest Loser (most VP's scored in a game but still lost) 7th - Last place *Last Tournament 2 of us provided for 7 tables. This isn't compulsory however I'd like to spread this out a bit and what better way than to give incentive? Hopefully encourage people to play more if they have there own table too For those that may see this in future - I'm planning a Hardcore Henchman later in the year and if the numbers are there a doubles.
  3. Enforcer Brawl @ the All Saints Church Hall on Monday 19th December from 7pm. Free entry - winner gets entry paid for for whichever Malifaux Tournament we host in the future. (we'll be having a couple of 1 dayers next year for anyone that idly clicks this link and fancies a visit!) Good luck
  4. The Hall is booked for the Annual 40k Doubles, So thought I'd take the opportunity to hold a demo day as people crash out/random people pop in. No crew provision necessary - I'll provide it all, there will be 2 tables set up for demos. The All Saints Church Hall is located here: *edit - I can't read a calendar right. It's October Saturday 22nd!
  5. First campaign on this rock -fell from an initial 16 entries to 13, disappointing but still good as 80% of the players are brand new - Shifting Loyalties. I'm going to post some pictures of the night but not updated arsenal sheets etc (beyond the first round) as simply too much to keep track of and type Here's our faction choices: Key - Outcasts Mike - Outcasts Aaron - Guild Chris - Gremlins Rob - Arcanists Lewis - Arcanists Andy - Neverborn Kev - Resurectionists Tom - Resurectionists Si - Guild JoJo - Ten Thunders Ed - Neverborn Matt - Guild Game Boards Used: Action shot: Not everyone could attend on the night so here's the first set of results: Key v Kev Viktoria of Vlood, Freikorps Librarian, Johana (i got told off for missing the a off earlier....) & Ronin, Mark of Shez'uul v Madame Sybelle (& Not too Banged up) Dead doxy, Rotten Belle, Rotten Belle, Rotten Belle & Crooligan, Finished 3-6 to Kev Mike v Andy Montressorm Convict Gunslinger, Convict Gunslinger, The Guilty, The Guilty, Fearful Whispers. Two Red Jokers.... Weeks 3-6 should be interesting! Biggest struggle I had on the night was players who simply hadn't put the practice in (despite me banging the drum repeatedly in the months leading up to it!!) I'll try to grab updated Arsenal Sheets end of Week 4
  6. The Chain of Command Gaming Group based @ The All Saints Church Hall, Douglas, Isle of Man - will be hosting the first ever Manx Malifaux Campaign from September 4th over 4 successive Mondays. Attendance at all nights isn't required (but most is certainly preferable). As myself and another campaign organiser will arrange interim games during the week should you be unable to make it. In the interests of boosting take up of the game we're running this Campaign for free - and with slightly stripped back Shifting Loyalties rules to make them as accessible to everyone as possible. The campaign is a narrative driven story over 4 weeks taking place over 6 games and 1 special event. We've structured these games so as to hopefully guarantee large swings in crew scores - so hopefully even on the last day anyone can win - mainly to encourage the new players So far we have 16 entrants, the majority of which have never played before so you're more than welcome to join in. Should you browse this forum and reside in my part of the world and not be aware of the hall. Please drop me a message as you're more than welcome to join! I'm hosting training events every Monday at the club with the aim to get everyone ready. Nice and simple rules pack: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0BxCfJFTehEqtSTZSQWQxRi1kdGc 19th August edit: Doc Rules revised/Added finished off. Will be minor tweaks as me and fellow organiser continue to play test Our gaming group page: https://www.facebook.com/groups/21238835102/ Despite entry being Free myself and my fellow campaign organiser are funding a prize for the overall winner and a prize for best painted. We'd like to offer more but we're on a mad dash just trying to get sufficient terrain for 8+ tables (on top of a house renovation)...! Next year though! For those interested I'll post a Campaign report each week in the necessary part of the forum
