Thanks for the quick replies. Both these scenarios came up in a game last night. It's only my second time using the ressurs, I crossed over from gremlins and am used to accepting that anything targeting WP is generally a hopeless situation for me! So having a model with ruthless is new territory.

I have a couple of questions that I hope someone can help with. Izamu activates whilst inside pandoras engagement range. Her melee attack is against WP. Does Izamu ignore her disengaging strike due to his ruthless ability? Also, Izamu's 'a warriors death' allows a final 1AP attack when reduced to 0 wounds. The attack ignores range and LOS restrictions but does it ignore any WP fuels such as manipulative or terrifying? Finally, as a side note, I recently crossed over to the ressurs and I am so very happy I did. They are awesome and I wonder what took me so long!!! Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Having been your opponent (victim) in game 3, I enjoyed reading the battle report, particularly your description of lenny and somer:-). It was a very enjoyable game and you played an absolute blinder.

I am new to gremlin zoraida and was wondering if anyone can help me with this quandary? If I use 'tarot reading' to hire bad juju, can I then use the 'eternal fiend' upgrade for bad juju?

It was my first tournament and a great introduction to the scene. Even though I played horrendously (spending the night before in the hatchet didn't help) I had a blast. Cheers!

I have played a few games of headhunter with som'er and have really enjoyed it. Outactivating your opponent is the key. Aswell as not spacing yourself out too much on the board. Always having models close to retrieve markers and as a side note, models that can insight chain activations would also be helpful.

My favourite thing about malifaux is that it has made me love playing games, any games, more than I ever thought I could. So, thank you very much:-)

Army painter 'anti shine matt varnish' works well for me. It comes in a spray can so not ideally what you are looking for, that being said, it's good.

Criticism is just an honest opinion and people who are easily offended by it forget that when they post a pic on the Internet for all to see. It doesn't matter who you are or how good you are at painting, people will always have an opinion. On the flip side, giving your opinion is difficult when you can't see the person face to face. That way, you would be able to judge what level your criticism can be pitched at to help someone improve and not invite unnecessary negativity. I studied architecture at university and have had many 'crits' where months of work is torn apart in front of you. After much wailing and gnashing of teeth it does make you better, if only as a self preservation mechanism to not be in that position again!

A models controller is the player that activates the model. Usually you unless your opponent uses an obey type effect to allow them to activate the model for you.

Painting progress has been slow recently, but i managed to put a little bit more paint on Lenny.

I was originally going to paint them as Red XIII, the Midgar Zolom and Donkey Kong but half way through painting the Cerberus I changed my mind as it has been done already and much better than I could manage anyway. And I am very much looking forward to seeing the whole crew on the table:-)
