This is indeed correct. I'll throw up the name of the company that makes them. I've done this for my guild (using wooden flooring) and ressers (using cobblestones). I have some rough stones that I was going to use for my tara (outcasts) crews. The first of my resssers were done by trial and error, and the inserts aren't 100% round. as you can see in these pics, however, I have found the correct size 'template' to cut them from. This is using an Australian 10c coin. Next time I assemble some models (likely within a week) I will make sure that I take some pics of how I make the inserts

Hello Fauxers! It seems my re-invigoration of painting has kicked off at the right time - The 2015 Painters Challenge - has me keener than ever to get some pain(t) on my brushes and finish some models that I have had kicking around for the last 12 months or so. I'll be at Gencon and while I wont be playing in any of the tournies, I figure I should hopefully be able to get some pick up games and maybe even tryout the new campaign style thing in the new book... In addition to the Painters Challenge, I will be keeping a record of models painted for the year and models purchased this year. I will do this on the same points system impliemnented in the comp ie 1 (30mm), 2(40mm), 4(50mm). Given that there is still 8 days to go, I want to keep myself keen. Here is what I'm working on for the next 8 days: 1: Scenery! These were bare MDF a few hours ago: I got a quick base coat on these last night just as it was getting dark. I'll see how I go this week but I may decide that I need to add some more base coat onto them: Cactus!!! - Drats these will be a job for next weekend, I dont have any green airbrush paint to hit them up with so I didnt bother undercoating them. These are from Pegasus Miniatures. They are Cactus 1. They go up to 2 inches. Note the Bell for size comparison: Half Painted stuff that cant go into the painting comp - Basically Seamus, Kopy Kat Killer and two Belles. The other Bell and Sybelle are 100% finished. I'll show them off once i've finished the Shadows over Redchapel box set: I'll swap between these few models this week, but I will likely have an emphasis on the Buildings. I think. Hi All, Topic pretty much says it all. I really like the look of the old metal McMorning which came in the box set - much more than the new plastic one. Just my personal preference. Does anyone have a spare that they are no longer in need of? My preference is for a non painted model. I have some plastic nurses and some metal punk zombies i could trade for it. Failing that, im sure we can work something out. Also, given that I live in Australia, I should put it out there that I will be at Gencon 2015 so will be happy to do a pick up there to save on postage etc. Cheers Rathpex

Okay as I have gone to check out i have encountered another issue. It seems that I can't swap between master card, visa and paypal. Hopefully that second radio button in the payment area is for paypal as i only have a master card and not a visa... and I want to place my order I am, once again, using mac and there are additional images which are not loading that are in my cart this time. Also, just looking at those pictures again, it probably should not say "welcome to the new Wyrd Shopping Cart" It should say "welcome to the new Wyrd Web Store" Is this another Bug?

Okay so all works pretty well (including the spending part ) I did notice a bug that caused several images to not load properly. I am using a Mac but this shouldn't cause the problem as some images are loading and not others. Predominantly there is an example the home page: As you can see the second image, the scrolling banner is blank. There are several throughout the store as well. I didn't screenshot these however. Bug reported>? Cheers

I guess I'm in a similar boat to th OP, only a few months more along. I have pretty much only played seamus. My go to is punk zombies. It is interesting to note that you all seem to use mad habadasher. What's the theory behind using this? It's a lot of stones and seamus is really hard to kill as is. I definitely wouldn't use it without copy cat killer. There are some good posts in this thread. This is the main question that popped into my head though. Also, any tips on beating an unmovable 10T crew?

Yep, I've seen equivalents to this, like chequer plating. I've looked through a few of the galleries, but can't really see too much at this stage. Ill have to see how my models look before I base them. I am hoping for a fair bit of space on the base. If so, then I can try this cobblestone/bluestone streeting

I'm trying to think what I'm going to do for the bases for my malifaux models. Im not sure I want to go for resin bases and I'm equally unsure if I want to go for the standard sand + grass. What about using plastic card to make a 3d cobblestone effect? I've never done it before but it should fit in with the fluff. Thoughts? What other textures could I do on the bases?

I'm only new, but I had a go with Seamus vs Lady J. They both seemed pretty well balanced. Lady J's crew has quite a bit of shooting, but this is offset but Seamus' ability to have the Belles push models around the table. It's the two boxes I'm going to use to teach my friends.

Hey all, I am on holidays from Australia and while I was at Gencon, I picked up a few things to get me going. Rule book University expansion Seams box Lady justice box Nightmare Tara. I won a Rail Golum in a raffle also! It gives me a few options to play with. Probably a Tara or Seamus start off for me though. I really like the Guild but there are not enough models as yet. I'll build up a bigger collection as more Masters are released. I'm NOT buying anymore models till what I have is painted. Im a compulsive non finisher of war gaming models. What grabbed me the most about Malifaux was the quality of the plastics. They are equivalent of GW. And best of all they will be able to be assemble led with plastic glue.
