I used with him Mei v Rezzers and had him buffed to Df6 by a Metal Gamin. He was a brilliant bastion, i was able to hide Mei, Kang and an Archer behind him away from Belle's lure. My opponent was forced to come to me to deal with the shooting that was being buffed by Kang. It was over in 3 turns. Another game v Lilith he was tangle shadowed to his doom and suffice to say i lost that game.

He's brilliant alright, he chewed though 2 Mature Nephlim's in 2 turns.

I'm just wanting to get some clarification on Initiate Reformation. It reads if the target is still in play at the end of the turn summon an Ashes and Dusst into base contact with it... My question is does the summoned Ashes and Dust get to activate prior to the End Step albeit with slow for being summoned or does the summoning take place at the end of the turn meaning (it's the end of the turn) and it cannot activate until the next turn. We played it as the latter due to it being the least powerful of the 2 options though it could be read both ways. Which do you think is correct?

Dawn Serpent for the high Ml + poison +2 and Performers to lure them in for a sip of wine makes for a nasty combination, actually for any 10T crew.

I have been using Lazarus though Tuco has blasts as well.

I've been playing a lot of Zoriada lately and learning more about her every game. So far, keeping her near my shooters and using repulsive to push enemy models away. Obey to put focus on models like Hans and the Doppel who copies Hans. Obey to force the enemy to target my Terrifying models and make them paralysed. Bewitching their important models to gain cards. Have been making use of summoning the Voodoo doll and Hem. Moving the doll into close proximity to their models and dropping blasts on both of them. Them suffering damage from the blast and the Hem combined has been a nasty trick. There's likely many more tricks i haven't yet figured out and hopefully after some more games i'll have her worked out.

If for e.g. Huggy and Ama were in the same crew Huggy could heed my voice on models to attack Ama and visa versa which would cause paralyze.

Never used the firestarter or union miners but from experience metal gamin make good runners. They buff your crew for a few turns then venture alone to run the schemes. They are probably one of the tankiest 4ss minions around.

I can just see it now on Kickstarter Malifaux the series. I'd get behind something like that!

I use him with Lynch as he provides a nice buff to The Illuminated and Dawn Serpent. Mei Feng's Emberling like him too as it can drop scrap to summon Komainu.

Ryle because he's a big construct who like all the other low Df models loves a nearby Metal Gamin, he also has a nasty gun that Lazarus can copy, a devastating punch and can heal other constructs including himself. The other cheaper guild constructs Guardian, Hunter, Warden and Watcher are all useful as well in their own ways.

I have not played Lilith only against her and Tangle Shadows is her bread and butter, keep a high card, stone the suit if you have to and swap a tot for Francisco. Lilith can ignore LoS and with 3AP should be able to move up and bring him in. With Lynch The Rising Sun means Huggy can keep coming back so throw him into the fray and let them waste their precious AP killing him then focus your attacks on a model with brilliance and bring him back.

Zack Snyder who directed the 300 movie comes to mind as the perfect guy to direct a Malifaux movie.

Having played against Perdita's crew many times i can tell you they are frustrating to face. Having said that i have only used Perdita once and it felt like an adult beating up a child, very dirty indeed.

I've just ordered her for 10T. Both factions have decent options but i prefer 10T due to the models not requiring as much synergy to work well together. The other reason is i have more 10T models than Outcasts.

I see both sides, the stronger reason is No due to a named model in the description.

This came up from a discussion in the Arcanists section under the thread Mercenaries and i wanted to get people opinions. The Assimilate action requires that a model not be listed by name. Can he copy Metal Gamin's protection from metal as it doesn't actually list a model except the only requirement for the condition to be enabled is a Metal gamin be within 3"
