Anyone coming along to rebels & rioters on Saturday. If you have a 3x3 mat you could bring along it would make set up that bit easier.

Noticed I've been a bit behind in my painting lately and also in updated this with what I've done. First there are three Gaki to get thrown about by Molly and Kirai. Really like the sculpts but not looking forward to fitting them into my case. And a slightly out of focus picture of Mr Graves as a break from the undead horde.

Because I'm an idiot I completely forgot about henchman hardcore tomorrow. I'm not around this week and most people have already arranged games for tuesday we may need to push it back a week. I've got a demo lined up for next week but should be able to run both as the hardcore just needs scoring now you all know whats going on. Once again I'm an idiot sorry if this messes up anyone's plans

Is there anything resembling a rulespack for this? I'm guessing the same as spring and summer showdown but I like to have something just so I can pretend to know whats going on. And having the start times etc helps as I'm easily confused.

Just over half the tickets sold, goodies and prizes and things will be ordered very soon. Plus you get to listen to me shout time all day what more could people want. Go get a ticket.

After putting it off for ages and then taking ages to paint it my rogue necro is now finished. I want him to be a centre piece of my crew painting wise so tried to paint him to the very top of my ability which I really pleased with (even if it makes my other stuff look a bit ropey)

On the 22nd of September I will be running a demo night at Dark Sphere in London. If you fancy trying out Malifaux just come along from 6.30pm and I'll run you through the basics.

I'm slowly working my way through my GenCon goodies last night I took a bash at the Carrion effigy. So many cool little details on this model I decided to try and push myself a bit with my painting technique. Very similar in colour scheme to both my Molly and McM but with a lot better finish than McM (I really need to repaint him at some point). I really pleased with how this came out, another hack at NMM and some really subtle highlights. He's far from perfect but compared to my painting a year ago its a hundred times better. The original plan was for the skeleton on the base to glow with OSL but I couldn't bring myself to risk wreaking the finish on the coat if it went wrong (like it did on McM.) I'm still putting off painting the rogue necro (not rouge necro as I kept typing last night) as its such a centre piece model that it needs to be done well. So the Gaki will probably be the next on my painting table.

Started work on my GenCon toys. Dead Rider is first up.

Okay due to the tube strike on the 25th Aug it looks like I'll have to reschedule this months Hardcore. Options are A ) Move it to the next week - 1st Sept. B ) skip it. C ) Something else I'll give it a few days for people to let me know their preference and then I post whats happening so everyone knows.

As I seem to have developed a bit of a painting queue I decided I had to start getting things painted before the GenCon stuff I've ordered arrives. So over the weekend I managed to finish off my nightmare Tara crew. First of the lady herself Her friends from the box And the gang all together. I wanted to add some more effects to Tara, maybe a glow to the sword. But my last OSL didnt end too well so I've left her as is and I'm going to practice OSL ready for my next project.

The Hardcore is sort of fixed to Tuesdays but for regulars games we meet up at Dark Sphere on a few different nights so you can always just come along for a game when you're free.

Yeah the first one was a success so the rest are on track. We may add 5min to each round but no change other than that.

If I can sneak a change in on the work rota I'll be there.

I'm keen but just need to swing the time off work and sort a pass.
