  1. I've printed and laminated a couple of them, and it seems to me they work fine, no need for sleeves. I've also made a card-sized version: I prefer the bigger one, but here are both, so you can choose which one you want Original version, 6" wide, 2x in a sheet: https://app.box.com/s/mh1bxhiz4fx80279ayd1m3nrxq9r2vw9 Card-size version, 8x in a sheet: https://app.box.com/s/wyxrj46flu4h0h564w3lbmjjgbkjh7pl Both versions (1x of the bigger one, 3x of the card-size ones): https://app.box.com/s/jubwzqalrkdnnmp9i2r73p8k06kyhqqe Sheets aren't any exact size (neither A4 or US Letter), but smaller than both. If you print them without fitting to page (or resizing them in any way) they should print fine.
  2. Thanks. Actually, I've made it quite big (6 inches wide), to make it easier to read from across the table, but I still have to print one to check it (printing stuff can turn out to be quite different from what you'd imagined in your head ^^;). Anyway, no problem in providing a card-sized one, too.
  3. I'm making a sheet to track Turns and Points. It's very quick 'n' dirty, but should get the job done. This is the actual design, about 6" wide: The idea is to place it to one side of the board for both players to be able to access it. Later today I'll go print and laminate one, to check sizes in real world. Then, if anyone is interested, I'll be glad to share the file. Also. comments are welcome.
  4. Excellent. Thank you both.
  5. ?x30mm Armor +1?x30mm Burning +1?x30mm Defensive +1?x30mm Focused +1?x30mm Fast?x30mm Slow?x30mm Paralyzed?x30mm Poison +1?x30mm Reactive No need for the above to be 30mm (or any other specific size) A couple of each should do, unless you have something that plays heavy on some condition (i.e. McMourning and Poison, Sonnia and Fire, etc). So, if you're playing Lynch, make some for Under The Influence. 1x30mm Turf Marker55x30mm Squat Markers?x30mm Claim Markers?x30mm Scheme Markers 8-10 should be enough1x30mm Treasure Marker?x30mm Sabotage Marker1x50mm Wagon Marker1x50mm Blast Marker I would advice for at least 2 Blast Markers ?x30mm Brilliance Cloud Marker (used by Jacob Lynch and friends) Only The Illuminated use the 30mm cloud marker. I would say that 3 or 4 will suffice (considering you'll hardly make 2 attacks with all 3 Illuminated. But if you want the maximum you could ever need, make 6 of them).?x30mm Corpse Markers?x30mm Scrap Markers You're not going to need those. You can make them for the sake of completeness, but it's safe to assume that if you'll face an opponent needing them, he will provide his own.
  6. The Illuminated are great. They deal high damage and are quite resilient: Armor +1 and two regenerations per activation (ability + 0 action). Beckoners are nice, but I have to admit I use mine more to lure models than for spreading brilliance Depleted are great cheap meatshields. The more I use them, the more I love them. About spreading Brilliance, keep in mind that Illuminated have a different way than the rest of the crew (Under The Influence) that affects just the target. The Illuminated attack place a 3cm marker and everything within 1" gets the Brilliance, so they're useful to get Brilliance on models you're not able to directly reach with an attack (you can also target your own models with this attack, just for the sake of putting the marker in place).
  7. A buried model does not count as in play. So, if Ikiryo becomes buried (by a Death Marshall, for example) it is no longer considered in play. So I think Kirai can summon another one, even if it's Rare 1. What if by any means the buried one becomes unburied? Rules states that a Crew cannot hire or summon more of a model than its Rare value. But unbury is neither hire or summon, isn't it?
  8. Nice review. I'm quite interested in the game since it was released, but I'm trying to not buy anymore more stuff than I can actually play. Your post doesn't help though
  9. Leveticus, too? Wow, this seems hard to counter. Not any experience with him (not to speak with him against Aionus), but old man is just 8Wd this seems to completely shut down him. Or not? Opinions from Leveticus players? Well, maybe not. Aionus needs two successful Ca attacks, of which at least one inflicting severe. And until turn 3 it cannot perform 3 Ca attacks (unless given Fast in some other way). Maybe it's not the-end-of-the-world for Levi, after all. Still something to worry about.
  10. No because he is 0 Cost and it has to be at least 1. With Jakob recycling Aces, that would had be nice Anyway, a buried model reduced to 0 wound is killed, right? What about Hungering Darkness buried via The Rising Sun upgrade? The upgrade Eternal Darkness ability says "When a friendly Hungering Darkness model in play is killed (not sacrificed), it is not killed." Since while buried a model is not in play, I suppose that if Huggy is killed while buried, it's gone for good, isn't it? More generally speaking, love the stats. I agree with the general consensus that it looks like a neat, interesting and in many ways powerful model, without being broken. Oh, and it's on a 40mm base. I think I can fit a resin Tardis on that...
  11. Well, sure not the best thread to discuss this, but with the Arsenal Boxes phasing out, I would gladly see cards available through some print-on-demand service, updated to latest faq/errata and with streamlined and consistent text/wording. /OT
  12. Oh, thank you. That would be an excellent explanation, and would justify the different wording. Now, since you're writing "I think" I understand it's not an official ruling, isn't it? Anyway, I'll adopt your interpretation until/if further and/or more official explanations are given. Thank you!
  13. Thanks for reply. Wait, Hannah has both abilities, Librarian just Nether Flux/Fluctuation. Anyway I get what you mean. Point is the definition of associated. I read "associated with a stat" as "printed next to it on the card", friend argued that since an action is of the given stat, all suits in the total are associated with it, thus should be ignored. That's not an explanation, that's a justification. I've read a blog post (by Justin, if I recall correctly) and I understand real world and manpower related problems. Fine with it. Point is I cannot use it to support my point. I think I'll simply print out this page and bring it with me
  14. Some time ago I've asked a confirm about Librarian's Nether Fluctuation. This was mostly a confirm request, just because my opponent (who plays Von Schill) wasn't sure I was applying it correctly (i.e. ignoring printetd suits on model cards, but still wanting to make use of suits flipped from the fate deck). Now he's going to get Hannah, I've checked the card to see what the chick does and saw that in addition to the Librarian ability (here called Flux instead of Fluctuation, don't know why) she has a Counterspell ability that seems very similar in the effect (if not in the trigger conditions) but it's very differently worded: From Hannah card: It seems to me that both abilities, once their requirements are met, strip the printed suit(s) only and allow the use of the ones eventually flipped from the fate deck. Am I worng? Now, I assure you I do not want to start another raw vs rai discussion, but the very different wording between the two abilities sure will bring arguments with friend who wasn't very convinced of my good faith in first place. Could someone give me some reasonable explanation of why one ability states "lose all suits printed in" while the other says "ignore any suits associated with" ? I ask because if friend will argue that the first one is clearly limited to suits on card and so the second one should include flipped suits (as he was claiming in first place) I will be unable to reply. Thanks in advance.
  15. A quick paintjob for a couple of models I've painted to be used as proxies. First one is a Mantic Ghoul I'm using as a *temporary* proxy for a Depleted. I'll get soon the proper models. Then I've painted a Reaper Bones Dryad to be used as a Waldgeist. No particular interest in Waldgeist, as I don't think it will be of any use in Jakob's crew (especially cos I'd have to leave out a model with Brilliance synergy), but I already had the model from a Bones Kickstarter, and it looked to nicely fit the role
  16. If Wyrd will be offering again cards, maybe as singles (as PP does and as Wyrd used to do during 1.5 times, if I recall correctly) a nice thing would be selling updated versions of cards that changed (i.e. Metal Gamins), adding something like 1.1, 1.2, etc to tell apart different versions and tell at a glance which one is the newest. Digital print makes short print runs possible, and/or selling individual cards makes possible to sell them at a higher price: i.e. 50 cents per card would be fine to me, and this would be a higher price than deck cost divided per cards included. Of course you have to take in account unsold stuff, cards for less popular models that sell slowly than others, etc but I suppose that using digital printing you can adjust print runs according to what sells the most. Also there's the manpower cost to be accounted (someone has to sort out cards and pack them to buyers). But I think is something worth to consider doing, as the request seems high. Actually, I'm done with cards, but knowing that if one day I'll ever somewhat lose my cards I would be able to replace them, it would be a nice thing.
  17. Sorry for the double post, but in the Hobby section nobody seemed to care... Just to be sure, I'd like to have Iron Zombies' base sizes confirmed as per the stat cards. Specifically, Student of Steel has to go on a 30mm base as per card? I ask because in my Transmortis box were includes 2x 40mm bases and 2x 50mm bases. No 30mm bases at all (no problem for the base itself, I have plenty of spares, just want to be sure to correctly base the models).

  19. Just to be sure, the ability of the Librarian to cancel suits associated to Ca, Ml, Sh within 4 means just the suits already on the model card, right? The suit flipped in the Ca, Ml, Sh action still applies, right?
  20. The above pic really doesn't makes the paintjob justice. You should have posted one of the clearer pics in the linked page
