  1. Hey's scanning the ground for more large rocks to pose with.
  2. It activates again, later in the turn, and a model can gain reactivate before or after its first activation. Also, remember that each model may only reactivate once per a turn.
  3. Karina is a totem and an enforcer. It says so on her card. (not to sound snarky)
  4. If the duplicate art on some of the cards is any indication, I don't think they've finished all the concept art yet, which means they still need to do some 3d renderings before producing some of the models.
  5. I'm still angry that that's not a thing.
  6. hackdZ, I think you figured out where I was going with it. "Through the Gate of the Silver Key" also touches up on a possible comparison between Carter and the Doctor. Also, "The Silver Key" happens to be my favorite of his pieces, followed by "The Music of Erich Zann".
  7. Randolph Carter was the first Doctor. (I really want someone to get this.)
  8. I would have liked another copy of Quality Mash Liquor.
  9. They announced her as first wave in place of Leveticus. Outcast are her home faction, so if her cards made it into an arsenal box, they will be with the other outcasts.
  10. I haven't felt like using proxies yet. I'll wait until his crew comes out to try him. Of course, by then beta rules for the next three gremlin masters will be available, so I'm not sure what I'll end up doing.
  11. Next target pushes Misaki up to 4" in any direction. So, you can still remain engaged and depending on the initial position, you could feasibly push past the model and still attack it with the second AP.
  12. He has to actually hit, deal damage, and then takes a wound for the opportunity to make another attack with an average shoot of 5. Also, with only a defense of 4 he better hope he drops everything that can retaliate against him after losing half his wounds to self inflicted injury.
  13. My post was in reaction to Carasz. I should have quoted it. I think a faq addressing mirror matches should be provided. That's not what I was talking about. In the post I should have quoted, Carasz was providing input that is not part of the rules, to get an output that is, of course, not supported by the rules. As far as it being clear? It's pretty damn clear. Maybe it causes problems in certain contexts, because it creates a situation that does not in anyway seem fair or even reasonable, but as is, it's clear what happens. That being said, it does need to be updated to address those rare occasions where it no longer seems fair or intuitive.
  14. The spell can only be cast once a turn. Has the spell already been cast this turn? Yes. Then it can't be cast again.
  15. I'm a big fan of my local team, No Coast Derby Girls. What team does your sister play for? (as I derail this thread)
  16. Her base crew can only bury models with Glimpse of the Void, which only has an effect if there are no buried models, i.e. they can only have one enemy model buried at a time without fielding other models capable of burying stuff. Also, they have to hit and damage and then the defender has to fail a simple willpower duel. I'm not saying that it will be hard for her crew to bury models. I'm just saying that it's not likely to happen enough to cause a NPE.
  17. Keep in mind too, that the Ronin run with the Viks. Victoria herself found the Masamune in the Three Kingdoms before she ever traveled to Malifaux and the 10Th first presence in Malifaux was as mercenaries.
  18. They'll just redo the boxes they come in, most likely.
  19. Where is Void Maw from? ---------- Post added at 10:37 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:36 PM ---------- Oh.
  20. Thanks. I figured it was addressed in one of the Wyrd Chronicles, but I haven't gotten around to reading them.
  21. Madam Sybelle's Saloon is used in Sybelle's description in book 1, or is the establishment legitimately called Red Chapel? I haven't come across the name in any of the fluff I've read so far. The Governor General's Mansion and a lot of the Guild offices are in an area designated as the Guild Enclave, which happens to have a street called Old London running through it. Other locations whithin: the Offices of Madam Criid, the Guild Forensic's Building The name of the saloon in the Little Kingdom that Viktoria met Zoraida in is The Qi and Gong. ---------- Post added at 10:18 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:18 AM ---------- McMorning works out of the Guild Forensic's Building.
  22. In my opinion, Viscera and the Valedictorian both appear to be worth their cost assuming they fit the style you're trying to play, i.e. they're less flexible than other models in that range, but they'll do their job well, assuming that's the job you need them to do.
  23. After comparing the students of Sinew and Steel to the Punk Zombie (since people have already made that comparison) they do seem to be roughly equivalent in cost as long as the students have the models they want to play against on the table, the student of Sinew is an obvious choice against Resserectionists, but the student of Steel suffers because there is no faction that's 90%-ish constructs, so including him is more of a gamble.
