My post was in reaction to Carasz. I should have quoted it. I think a faq addressing mirror matches should be provided. That's not what I was talking about. In the post I should have quoted, Carasz was providing input that is not part of the rules, to get an output that is, of course, not supported by the rules.
As far as it being clear? It's pretty damn clear. Maybe it causes problems in certain contexts, because it creates a situation that does not in anyway seem fair or even reasonable, but as is, it's clear what happens. That being said, it does need to be updated to address those rare occasions where it no longer seems fair or intuitive.
