  1. He works with any master that wants to spend 19-24 stones on rifleman. As I said above a Witchling handler can make them shoot Flaming bullets which Sonnia and Sammy enjoy. Lady j doesn't mind extra support. Dita has her family. Dashel and friends love killing things.
  2. I think that might be the list. I am searching but Can't find anything beside legalese and damper. Not many things ignore auras. Those that do are usually only damage or cover los based which snares is none of. So 4 things can charge her and only one doesn't have an ability to do so. So ha lilitu only reliable one but I really am drawing a blank on what else can ignore her anti-charge aura.
  3. Woah Woah Woah critical strike? What do you think he is a sergeant? But I do agree he should have it. And built in crit Dammint but then people say he could do 4/5/6 (stone ram etc) And people would be all sorts of upset.
  4. Uh yes he is amazing when used in his pigeon hole. He has one purpose. Maybe 2. Have rifleman focus for 0 actions so they can do 4/5/7 at 14" and if the enemy is within 12" and additional to attack. Effectively ignoring all sorts of cover. Also acts as an anti don't dome near the firing line. His baton does 2/2/3 but has built in crit and slow. So it's really doing 3/3/4. With a ram 4/4/5 and if you burn a stone for a ram get 5/5/6. So with limited setup you can have 2 focussed shots with rifle man ignoring cover and blowing things out of the water. And you can accomplice the rifle man to make sure target x is dead. Also can give out reactivate. Which if you need something dead a reactivating rifleman man that companions itself is really funny. So why yes he is completely lack luster in every other way. And without guardsmen to benefit from his Aura he is expensive. He makes rifle man and some times guards man 100% better. And combine that with lucious making the rifleman shoot more. Things go pop pretty quickly. But think about this if he cost 9 stones and gave all minions (0) focus people would take him in every single list since it would be amazing. Heck at 12 stones I would pay that price. But sadly only non-Austringers benefit. Poor birds don't like dashel yelling at them. For more added fun stick a Witchling handler around to add fire to the rifleman.
  5. well after doing an extensive search of "Acting model". the model performing an Action the acting model. So when Colette prompts model B Colette is the Acting model. But when Model B performs An Action Model B is the acting model. So to answer your question if an obeyed/prompted model is riposted by lady j no HH marker is placed. refercances; all from the big book Attack Actions are Actions that a target model resists, while Tactical Actions are those that an acting model performs. page 21 In the case of a tie, the acting model chooses which of the lowest models is the randomly determined model. page 29 call out box Actions usually have a Range associated with them. Actions that do not have an associated Range are usually those that affect only the acting model. To determine if a model (or other object) is in range of the Acting model, measure from base to base. page 40 note this page has alot about the acting model drawing range and los dont care to spam it read it your self. So in conclusion the Acting model is the Model that is taking the action.
  6. The acting model is the attacker.... riposte does not make lady j the acting model. Acting model can't place markers since lady j says so.
  7. Not strange at all no markers also. Ninjaed haha.
  8. How can one drop the ones head when cleaved in twain by a mighty sword. But on topic. Acting model places the marker. The model being killed is not placing any markers. Lady j is. Final Repose: Models killed by this model do not place Markers as a response to being killed. So no corpse or scrap since the non acting player is placing them. (Like normal)
  9. If I am fielding the doppelganger then I don't need the sleuth. The model is solid.
  10. Well guild Seargent isn't doing much. If I take only 2 upgrades on a master I take it on them. Ortegas like it since they don't always need their specific ones. Papa gets use out of the (0) handlers can hold it since well why not. And yes just one sleuth has one me the game. Or helped facilitate victory. +2 is nice. I under stand it is not Tara or seize the day. Or even doppelganger Trixxiebelle shenanigans. But it does make wanting to burn that stone. So I always save one since I gamble a lot with my models lives.
  11. The (0) action nice But +2 to the initiative flip is pure gold. I pretty sure you can stack them also for up to +6 for when you really want to win. Thinking of doing it in all the games and just gambling with models lives just so I can get benefit with them. Like lady j. Walk her next to all the things and then win initiative and kill things.
  12. One model can reliably charge rusty. Lilitu! But a monkey style TT bro can also. That's it.
  13. Or if they are all ready burning just see though the flame pillars and give you more burning
  14. I just want to make sure people understand that we are explicitly talking about flight and incorporeal ending their move count as entering. Models that don't ignore terrain while moving take damage when they touch hazardous terrain (Ie enter it)
  15. Just to make sure know one gets in trouble I am laughing. I can take the hits. I understand the rage at me. I forget sarcasm and humor does not translate though the interwebz. But anger sure does poor mice everywhere. Hope Ausplosions will forgive me. But I do take solace in knowing my timing is spot on. But I am glad to hear that the underlying issue has been identified. Today has been splocthy. And post
  16. Sadly Neverborn is lacking in anti armor. So a most things attacking the Coryphee (duet) is doing 1 damage. Lilith needs moderate to do 2. After markers are flipped defensive stance is nice as is sirens calling them away from markers. Cassy as said above hits hard on moderate. And can be in and out of melee. And to back them up is a prompting Colette. If they flip markers before you you can use the performers to don't mind me flip them back. And giving one of the Coryphee reactivate is awesome. Just make sure you form the duet. Gives you huge mobility and with a mannequin marker placement. Or flipping makers or dropping schemes The as miner is their if I wanted to do break though or to charge one of their scheme runners. But is easily replaced by x other models. Angelica for for instance with her push.
  17. But the other has models sitting inside impassable objects. Its not moving therefore did not enter. Think vassal not physically doing it. We don't need No Frankenstein desolation engine wannabe. On the making terrain bit I see your point. But I also see me ending a move compared to just standing there. But my thoughts have been said. And I will see how his plays out.
  18. Using dreamers day dreams to give Collodi masks to auto steal ap. Devilish.
  19. "Hazardous - Terrain that is considered hazardous deals damage to models that Activate while within it, or enter it (if they are pushed, moved, or placed within the terrain)." (The relevant part of the paragraph) Impassable - Models cannot enter impassable areas of terrain, which includes moving through the walls of a building or into other solid objects. Flight: This model is immune to falling damage and may ignore any terrain or models while moving. Incorporeal: This model ignores, and is ignored by, other models and terrain during any movement or push. Now everyone here agrees that a model with out flight or incorporeal that enters hazardous terrain takes damage(black blood) then continues moving on. What is being debated is where models with flight /incorporeal completely ignore the hazardous terrain even when they stop moving. I say when the flying/incorporeal end their move they count as entering the hazardous terrain therefore take damage. If this is not the case then if my flying model ends it move inside impassable terrain it did not enter it therefore is a valid move. Cheers.
  20. I guess my question to make myself clear to people my veiw point is: What's stopping a model with flight/incorporeal moving and ending their move inside impassable terrain. (Ie a solid wall)
  21. That's my point master shake it never enters terrain till it stops moving lol. Since its no longer ignoring it. (Flight incorporeal models only don't get confused and think we are talking about something else yo readers who skip posts) Which then it enters it. But it's definitely a toss up. Or do you. Enter something while ignoring it which means you are not ignoring it at all. Example ht1000 wall that is 2" wide. You can't end your movement inside it since you are not allowed to enter impassable terrain. So the flying model checks entering when it stops moving to see if it is violating any rule or affected by some ie hazardous. Bam corner stone set. Rebuttle go.
  22. i agree kadeton for there move but once they end that movement they are no longer moving therefore no longer ignoring the terrain so they are well entering it at that time. Thats how i see it. even in an abstract game i find it hard to try explaining to some one that yeah my flying model lands in lava and chills like a boss. then hits you then later in the evening(next activation) realizes that it is standing in lava. but i have no foot to stand on nor a foundation to build upon.
  23. Point is conceded. a disengaging strike is attacker only thing the defender is no no way shape or for making a strike. thanks kadeton. i saw what you wrote and had to re read things till i had an epiphany (which i did ofc)
  24. Making disengaging Strikes. Patrol: While this model is within 3” of at least one other friendly Guild Guard model, this model gains +2 Df and to disengaging strikes. But the +2 is always on as long as 2 of them are holding hands.
