  7. the one I normally use on my terrain/bases/dioramas is bought in a DIY store and is used IRL for mosquito protection (making frames for the windows)...
  8. love the bottle of Karlovacko there oh, and the shark freehand is really cool!!
  9. really cool paintjob acompanied by an excellent base.. my favourite though is the stache
  10. thanks, guys. @RustAndTheCity actually I loved it. compared to "normal" 28-32mm scale minis, the whole approach is different. here, the details are much larger. and you need to freehand a lot of things (like eyes, tartan or scratches on the leather parts - none are textured). you also need to pay attention to light (how it would fall on the face, how different textures absorb the light). all this (normally) is not present with smaller scale stuff. that said, every mistake is more visible. so you really need to get it right.
  11. My fourth round entry is a (I must say) beautiful bust by War Griffon Miniatures. It's the first large scale mini and bust I've ever painted. Hope you like it!
  12. hehe, thanks for noticing. that's the second "diorama" (well, base) I had to make for this entry I was wondering if someone will notice. Thanks for making my day
  13. aha.. yeah... thanks... Sidor Stiglemayer is actually a character in Through The Breach campaign I used to run with my gaming group
  14. thanks. actually those are not newspapers but blueprints of various jetpack versions...
  15. love the atmosphere... really alien-like...
  16. My third round entry. Base is scratchbuilt, everything on it was self made, including the sonic blasts. The mini was slightly converted (reposition of the "earphones" in order to power the flight)... Hope you like it!
  17. Well, judges will have a hard time in this pairing... Good luck
