Yah, I tried some white highlights but they didn't come out well so i went over them again with more yellow. Doesn't look awesome but better than it did.
A couple pieces from one of the Reaper fantasy line.
Hellebore the assassin and somebody the Sorceress.
Not really keen on the bases but they're what i had laying around. gonna have to find some more lip/inset bases when next I go up to the Cities.
Actually, that is what i did. Devlan on the Stalkers and Badab on the other 2.
I know my brush skills are not awesome but it's more noticeable in person. Possibly photographing against a glossy kitty litter box was not the best idea.
I'm working my way up to the multiple layers of wash/highlighting but for this I wanted some contrast but only a bit. They aren't all springtime fresh and nicely pressed on the way to the battle.
So they're back from a scrap.
They're tired, dusty, dirty, tired but victorious...
And now, they're off to the local brothel and hopefully Seamus hasn't gotten there first.
I had some time yesterday and sat down with great plans but instead only made a bit of headway on the Stalkers and Samael.
Gotta clean up the eyes on the purple stalker...
Gotta say, Samael's trousers are annoying.
He's challenging my meager talents. He has a lot of fiddly bits.
Continuing to build up my Guild forces, today I started on Sonnia's starter box.
I did a few searches and didn't see a lot of straight up red overcoats on her so I figured I'd go with that. Adds a bit of a Dom look.
I was feeling generally colourful tonite so that lead to some flamboyant Stalkers.
Yah, I was debating what to do about the coat. I like the the way it looks in general but I'm not sure how to make the white pop. I generally don't like working with whites as I just can't get em to tide clean. Any suggestions?
Yah, I'm going to have to pull myself away from Warmachine a bit early so I can get in a game or two of this.
Do you have the multiplayer expansion or just the 2p version?
Ya know, I'm probably going to have to buy PW just for the variety in the figs.
The more you post, the more I love those puppets!
The Death Marshall looks great.
