3 more Karkinoi this month with a stretch goal of another 3 plus new finished bases for my Gibbering Horde.
I filled Malisaurus Rex's gaps with Vallejo Plastic Putty. That stuff is magic.

Finished 3 Karkinoi yesterday:
Currently more focused on other projects, including an Old Dominion army for Conquest.

Not sure what I'm painting this month, but will probably be either Lucius or some more Explorers.
As for fun gadgets here's one that I've always loved and is only a couple of bucks. I've seen it go by many names but generally I think it's called a paint brush puck. You just stick it to the inside of your paint water cup and swish you're brush through it, and it knocks all the paint right off. Even after long paint session when I go to clean out my brush with soap, they'll be practically nothing on it. I got mine from either broken toad or scale 75 but there's plenty of different kinds out there.
Ordered!

That's Danica from the witch box for moonstone by goblin King games.
Love those minis. Need to put some paint on mine.

I completed some of the Other Side Kirai models:
I took this crew to the Adepticon tournament and had a good time representing the Rezzers!
I also finished some more Whelks:

Never finished my Armored Whelks in February, so I'll pledge those for March. I'll add on The Other Side starter set Kirai company, which I'm excited to finally get.

Here was my entry for the Bloody Valentine Diorama category:
I call it 'The Bride'. It's Wyrd's Hanging Tree along with the Kirai Avatar model and M2E Bete Noire on a 120mm Other Side base.
I used Tamiya Red Clear to paint and spray the blood. It's a toxic glycerin, which I didn't want to mess around with too much as I was sick that week. In retrospect, I should have had way more blood spatter with a white spatter undercoat. I also would have made the base a more realistic desert with variation. I do like how the tree and Bete Noire came out.
The other Dioramas were incredible, I wish I had had more than one vote.

I forgot to add my pledge and follow this thread.
I did have a Bloody Valentine entry which I might count. I'm also going to try to finish the last Armored Whelk fireteam. I changed the basing for the others as I was really unhappy with the color.

Hi, everybody. I'm starting the new year off with the third Striped Skulker fireteam from the December unit:
I followed the same basing I wasn't crazy about to keep the unit cohesive.
I also completed an Armored Whelk fireteam:
I like their basing more, but I'll add more water effects to the next one.
Really enjoying all the different paint schemes and perspectives in this thread. Y'all continue to inspire me.

Hi all, been doing this challenge for two years and am looking forward to what 2022 brings to my paint table. Other than Wyrd miniatures, I paint minis for a bunch of games; I'll share a photo or two of those.
I am, once again, pledging at the Tyrant level, as it is the only way to clear my shelf of shame. Starting the year with some or all of this:
You can guess what's in the box.
Happy painting, all!

To finish off 2021, I completed two fireteams of Striped Skulkers:
This involved a lot of experimentation with airbrushing and water effects. I'm not terribly pleased with the fireteam basing and will try more of a tide pool effect for the other units. Cool sculpts, though!
That's 42ss @Caedrus though I'm aware you've stepped away from the throne. Thank you for your work, your support, and for two years of inspiring threads with brilliant painters that compelled me to get back to the paint table and try something new.
Happy New Year, all!

Alas, I have run out of Malifaux crews to paint, until my preorders arrive.
I could steal a boxed one from @Magnus but I think I'd rather dust off the Gibbering Horde and start practicing more with the airbrush for some whacky color combos. I'd also like to practice more with AK water effects.
Magnus and I used them for our Armada fleets. Check out his very pretty Basileans:

@Caedrus Thank you! I had 78ss for November. Love the lighting effect on the Grootslang, and the Yin base is nightmare fuel!

Finished Zoraida's crew before month's end:
Happy Turkey Day, all! I'll tabulate points later.

I managed to finish the Witches and Woes set:
Neat sculpts. I have the Zoraida box assembled and ready for priming. Productive month!

For November, I'll try to speed paint something in this:
That will pretty much finish my Malifaux collection until the rest of the Seeker keyword and Other Side starter set arrive. Not as much as @Viruk but my shelves are getting full!

I'll pledge the boxes I didn't get to from last month and the Pandora Halloween crew as a stretch goal.

@Cats Laughing I see you're enjoying contrast paints as much as @Magnus and I

My September pledge will be some combination of these boxes:

Finished the Explorer's Society starter set:
definitely a rush job. I might add some blood to Tannenbaum for some interest. That's 40ss for me, thanks @Caedrus

For The Other Side, we have counted:

40mm base = 7ss
50mm base = 10ss
Master = 15ss

That's how I'm still doing it until told otherwise.
