  1. I was going to ask the same thing. Those are some fine looking Dwarfs in the background!
  2. How about a belle with a deringer in her garter to add a lil range attack.
  3. I think for the size company that Wyrd is, they are doing a great job in terms of releasing new material on a regular basis. While they may not provide pictures of new models at least they give you more of a heads up of whats in the pipeline than some other companies out there.
  4. Defineately a good finish. With the loose ends remaining from this story, it will be great to see a little interweaving of the plot points in future stories. I am also intrigued to find out if Stryker's path will cross that of April's and how it will unfold.
  5. This story is so riveting. It would be cool if Wyrd put some of their artwork to this story and made a PDF of it once the story is completed.
  6. Great looking models, I started doing a Criid crew, but I got distracted by Seamus and his lovely girls. Now I want to go back and finish up Sonnia and her friends.
  7. I have been waiting for the next installment to this story and you have delivered a great one. Can't wait to see how it all ends.
  8. Hey if you're still looking for a store that has people playing Malifaux, head up to Games HQ in Charlotte on Thursday evenings. There are usually 8-10 people playing.
  9. I have 2 building in mind that I would love to build. One would be an old frontier town church and the other a 2 story bar/hotel. I will probably build them in cardboard first for sizing comparisions and then build the with a mixture of foam board, wood and molded plastic pieces.
  10. They all look great....I so miss the red ink from GW. I ran out a couple of years ago.
  11. for basing hills and terrain pieces you don't need a thick layer of PVA, you can water it down to a 50/50 ratio and apply it with a paint brush. This not only extends the PVA but gives a more even coat. Another option is to place it into a spray bottle and apply it that way. I use to have one that I picked up at a model train store. Just make sure to wash it out with warm soapy water to avoid gunking up the sprayer.
  12. My guess is, we will know all about these new models and their role in the Malifaux universe in about 2 weeks. The 3rd book will probably have all the details we will need to know and then we will just have to wait until November to get are grubby (at least mine) on these new Ressers.
  13. Thanks for the kind words. I didn't get a chance to do any painting yesterday as I took the family to see the last HP movie. I am trying to decide on what color hair to give him. I am thinking of making him a ginger or give him black hair. I want to stay away from brown as both his pants and flintlock will be in browns and I don't want brown to dominate the model. I am also considering giving the model a watered down wash of devlan mud, but I'm afraid I would lose the richness of the green that he has. Can't really see in the pic above but he has build up of 5 layers of thin coats of green, that can be better seen in person.
  14. Just getting into the game with a Seamus crew. I have painted models on and off over the years and hope to my skills improve enough to do these models justice. I am more of a terrain builder than painter. Here is what I have so far, a very much WIP.... I really need to make a light box and get a better camera.
  15. Started painting Seamus yesterday and built his base as well. I'm painting him in the Notre Dame colors. Not sure what color to paint his hair and sideburns, I'm thinking red but havent fully decided. Hope to have pics up soon.
