  1. I'm not Mike but here are your answers, 1. When playing vs 10T, you cannot use a dual faction master 2. Dual faction masters only have achievements for when they are used as 10T, not as other faction. They can be used to achieve general and faction schemes. This is to balance out the achievements 3. see #2, but you got it with your assumption 4. “Activate ‘Badass Pose’ twice on a straight line” - Begin engaged in melee, hit defender and get badass pose trigger. Railwalk into a different opponent moving in a straight line. Strike second defender and hit trigger again.

  3. A Maliblip instead of a full episode as the Malifools flip the black joker on a full recording session this week. Apologies for that and apologies for the minimal editing too. This week we have a chat with Peter (Seregon on the boards) about the Swedish GT that he is organising in August this year and (as you'd expect from us) the chat rambles all over the place. As usual, get the episode at http://malifools.podbean.com/, iTunes or your favourite podcast catcher Music choices: Stevie Wonder - Positivity Peter's choices for the Viks: Duran Duran - A View to a Kill & Deerhoof - Twin Killers Stay tuned after the interview for a little audio treat Notes: Please check out the Just Giving page that Mr Mike Marshall has set up to raise money for Cancer Research (plus you have the chance to win a limited Adepticon foil fate deck - https://www.justgiving.com/malifools Swedish Malifaux page - Malifaux.se Link to Swedish GT on Wyrd forum - http://www.wyrd-games.net/showthread.php?44086-Swedish-Malifaux-Masters-2013-24-25-Aug-Uppsala-Sweden Von Schill thoughts - http://www.wyrd-games.net/showthread.php?44334-The-Freikorps-in-20-6-rules-Thoughts-and-suggestions Peter on twitter - https://twitter.com/aSeregon Don't forget to check back next week for when the Malifools reach Conrad's age - the big 5 0, baby!
  4. Fantastic idea, I can hear Scorpion Beckoner going "get over here" when she casts lure
  5. Remembered to send out the fixtures. Forgot to fix the images on this page. In the meantime you can download the spreadsheet from here
  6. Also, if you're a UK taxpayer you can tick the gift aid box and Cancer Research can claim back the tax on the donation
  7. Thanks, it's not just you. Will sort it out. You have but so have some others. Will contact you and get everyone up to date with fixtures etc
  8. Things have descended into a maelstrom of chaos with regards to fixtures; some people are a few weeks ahead, some a few weeks behind but everyone is playing games so none of that matters Stats have had a big overhaul. Hopefully this will be more informative and useful (Note: I'm unsure what size this will be, you may have to click through). For those of you in the league, 4th round fixtures will be sent out later today. For those of you who aren't, you can sign up for the world wide league I'm running that will be starting as soon as M2E is officially released. Details here.
  9. Hi everyone, with the M2E leagues finishing when the open beta closes, I thought I'd get the cogs turning to prepare for the next round of Vassal leagues. The league will be M2E and will be starting once the M2E book is released (precise date to be confirmed). It will serve to allow players to get experience of M2E by playing against masters that may not be played in their local area and will also allow us to test some of the second wave public beta models (books 2-4). Anybody in the world is free to sign up and leagues will be split up based upon timezones. A league will consist of between 6 and 8 players (assuming that amount of interest) and everyone in the same league will play each other once. The league will consist of one game a fortnight. If a player wishes for more games than this they are welcome to sign up for two leagues which will give them two games a fortnight. However if there is only one league running in your timezone then you are only permitted to enter it once. What I will ask from you: league games to be played within the time frame and results to be communicated to me along with any extra material required (scheme pool etc). Obviously a mature attitude as this will only work if we all work together. What you can expect from me: fixtures to be sent out on time every fortnight by email. League breakdowns and stats to be posted to the forum at the end of each round. Basically you play your game, send me the result and then I do all the work will regards to collating them, posting them and communication your next game to you. The current formats for the leagues are still to be determined but will more than likely be fixed faction with game sizes chosen by players between 35ss and 50ss. This is so that new players do not have to spend 5-6 hours playing one game but also so that more experienced players are free to play a larger game. Strategy and scheme pool will be randomly determined as per rule book. There will be no restriction of schemes from game to game (if you flip bodyguard and protect territory every game then you are free to select them). If this sounds like something that would interest you then send an email to vassalfaux@gmail.com. The email should contain your name, your forum name, an email address that you don't mind sharing with the other players in your league, your location in the world as well as your timezone. I will then have a list of people that are interested and nearer the time I can contact you directly to get faction choice etc Regards, scuttlebut
  10. They were also making plans on twitter the other day for getting together to do some recording (including the promise of a new story that's already written). I think they're just really pressed for time
  11. Have you decided upon a new date to record? I gather Shane was held up trying to cross a border (or something like that)
  12. Fair description of the podcast really ---------- Post added at 07:15 AM ---------- Previous post was at 07:14 AM ---------- And apologies for trolling both Mike and Dom within the same thread
  13. I've changed it so it'll also be giving the average vps for when the scheme is announced vs when it's unannounced. Also looking at a way to record crew lists but feel I may be snowed under with doing that.
  14. Here's the information from round 1: All of the battle reports from the league games have been posted in the M2E section. However I'm too lazy to link to them all here. This is where we are with regards to the stat and schemes: (Unsure what size that will come out, you may have to click to enlarge it). Hopefully the stats and strats makes sense; I feel with M2E there is soooo much data about games that could be displayed that I'm still messing around with spreadsheets and ways of recording stuff. If anyone has any suggestions then I'd love to hear them below Round 2 stats and results will be posted this coming Saturday.
  15. Emma is a vegetarian Chris (@Lemonconstruct on twitter) only has the Viks; he's quite a new player
  16. Since he's become a henchman he's been determined to ruin people's hobby by demoing for everyone.
  17. You should have waited before posting Spooner, people will get suspicious Yeah, I was looking forward to seeing everyone too but you know, stuff happens. Fortunately there's another stellar turnout for this so my absence won't be noticed on the turnout front. There's these little green bros running around thieving 'em
  18. Sadly both Emma and myself will need to withdraw from this, apologies to all concerned.
  19. 1 game in each league to be played for Round 4. The original plan was to extend round 5 so that it closed when the beta ends. I'll be happy as long as round 5 is all done by that time so 3 weeks for round 4 and 3 weeks for round 5 should be fine.
  20. Ok guys, the beta is open so let's get this ball rolling. Round 1: Saturday 1st - Friday 7th June I've emailed everyone the fixtures so this is just here to keep track --- Razhem (Nicodem) vs Tibor (Sonnia) Mephiston (Som'er) vs Mbbelius (Zoraida) Joel (Pandora) vs Thingster (McMourning) Dumb Luck (Brewmaster) vs Lemon Construct (Viktorias) OldManMyke (McMourning) vs Gorbad (Pandora) NinjaHamster (Mei Feng) vs Daemonkin (Lady Justice) Euclid (Perdita) vs Balefirestorm (Ophelia) TheJudge (Rasputina) vs Azathoth (Leveticus) Oshova (Seamus) vs AdrianMills (Zoraida) Leebat (Lilith) vs Tumling (Ramos) Sunabe (Jacob Lynch) vs Station (Misaki) Nepalese Ninja (Ramos) vs Csonti (Pandora) MythicFox (Ramos) vs Perpetual Dawn (Ophelia) --- Games are to be 50ss and played on the "Streets of Blood" vassal map. Everything else is to be played exactly as stated in the rulebook Results communicated to me as stated in the email and I'll post them up here
  21. GuildMonkee has had to drop out of this (he sent me a whinging email about Raspy being underpowered unless stomping noobs) so I'll be stepping up to take his place. Fortunately it's not like he's in the running for a top 3 finish or anything so I can bottom feed* for a bit *don't type that into Google
