  1. Thanks, I was thinking of doing something very different at first, closer to the box art, but then decided to go with the idea that they are the "natural species of Malifaux" and ran with it. Lilith is standing on a structure that was not originally underwater, but what with her brood taking out the inhabitants of the last Breach, the river flows a little differently... (At least, that's how it is in my mind...)
  2. Hi everyone! I'm Silent Jet (Jet for short, though real name is James). I live in the Sacramento area (Davis specifically) and have been tooling around with Malifaux for about a month with my Wife (I play Lilith, she plays Kirai, a main reason for me wanting to go with Hamelin or the Dreamer for my second crew). I put off posting until I had a basic army fully painted and was ready to go. My Wife (we've been married just shy of 2 years) found the website a while ago and we've had several skirmishes against each other. We have our figures ready and have begun making a table with various terrain features (removable of course). I've been painting figures for over a decade now and this is probably my favorite figure set, as I love the challenges presented with the fine detailing. I have a whole bunch of strategies for various armies that may or may not work at all, and I look forward to destroying/being destroyed by all of you on the field of battle!
  3. This would make things Soooo much easier for my army!
  4. I think this has a lot of fabulous potential! Based on your painting skill that I've seen I can't wait to see the finished product!
  5. Excellent, I have some runes to inscribe, thanks a lot!
  6. [url=http://wyrd-games.net/forum/member.php?u=4722]popg0estheworld, this is amazing. What did you use for writing on the placard? I always screw up my writing! Fantastic job!
  7. Hey Everyone! I held off on posting this for a bit so I could have a small army to show off. I made the bases myself (first time, and thank you to those who put up tips, they helped a lot), and really tried to capture the look of a natural Malifaux terrain on each piece. I hope you all like them as much as I do! Oh, and sorry for the blurring. Let's start with Lilith herself: I wanted to give the appearance of bullet-holes in the Mature Nephilim's wings, hence the black blood. And here's a group shot of the whole crew I have so far (I have to get some BB Shaman's and Nekima, as well as another Mature Nephilim, but I think this is a good starting point! Here's a complete look at each piece in the army for those who are interested. I took multiple shots so that you can see some of the cooler detailing! http://s1229.photobucket.com/albums/ee461/SilentJet/LilithsBrood/

We are also really looking forward to trying the Terraclips now that I see they are 3x3 (For some reason I thought they were only 2.5x2.5 *shrug*) I've been painting figures for over a decade now and this is probably my favorite figure set, as I love the challenges presented with the fine detailing. 9. Davis, CA. I hope to relocate to Seattle in the coming years and convert some people to Malifaux there!
