  1. New achievement league starting up this Thursday, 9-20-12 and running through November 1st. Locations is Armored Gopher Games 1502 N. Cunningham Ave, Suite E Urbana, IL 61802 Entry Fee: $10 I'll be posting the new achievement list later today or tomorrow after I get some things hammered out. It'll be mostly the same as the last league, but with things added and taken out. For those of you wondering, I have heard your feedback and this league will be non-faction specific, and the new achievements will be designed to encourage players to try new things.
  2. Maybe this one? http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/penanggalan/latest/03618
  3. They were actually filming footage of the finals on Sunday Supposedly they filmed part of the last round at the Wyrd Booth, but I wasn't there to see if they did.
  4. Seriously, check out the trailer http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/zombieorpheus/the-gamers-hands-of-fate/posts/298946 If you liked The Gamers: Dorkness Rising, then definitely check out the trailer! There's still some time left on the Kick Starter http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/zombieorpheus/the-gamers-hands-of-fate
  5. So I got my Breech Bag this morning and after giving it a look over I think it'll be worthwhile. There's plenty of real estate though BF could've added a few more pockets to help things be organized more. They have a dual stack of trays with each having a 3" & 1.5" pluck foam, 2x 1.5" trays for models (just like the troop tray from the original Malifaux Bag), and a 1.5" tray that has 8 slots for standard models and 36 slots for smaller/height 1 models. Note that this is an increase from the original Malifaux bag which had a 1" tray instead. The 3" pluck foam tray is also an increase from the original bag which had a 2.5" pluck foam tray. I was able to get three rules books in the main pouch, and 2 of the rules manuals with 3 decks of cards in one of the medium sized pockets. I got 2 measuring tapes and a bunch of soul stone counters (in a plastic blister) in one of the smaller pockets. The other two pockets I plan to use for cards, and yes the smaller pocket can fit a small stack of laminated cards vertically. The bag also has a set of wheels, and is designed to be able to fit airplane carry on dimensions if memory serves correctly. No shoulder strap, but there are straps that you can use for carrying it. It does have a pull-out handle for when you want to tug it around on the wheels. The price is $179.99 before shipping for a standard load out bag, $149.99 for an empty bag (no foam trays), and $204.99 for a custom load out. For pictures and a bit of an extended look check out my blog: http://mydnightshobbycorner.blogspot.com/2012/08/breech-bag-review.html
  6. Are you saying she's had plenty of train-ing?
  7. I just hope there's a good mix. Part of me wants to compete and see if I can't bring ressers to the top four, but I must answer to a higher calling.
  8. We are diminished by your absence here in Central IL, but wish you the best in your endeavors! There will definitely be plans to visit out that way :-)
  9. That is correct. Ice Pillars creates terrain that, while breakable, can have a big effect on your opponents movement. Being able to do more than one set in a turn would be a bit over the top Having a totem or Snowstorm throw them down leaves Raspy with another action to use on December's Curse though, which is a big bonus
  10. It started towards the end of June/Beginning of December, but I finally completed a Lady Justice box for DeusInnomenen. I figured I would share the results here for you guys, and if you want a more in depth look just check out my blog: http://mydnightshobbycorner.blogspot.com/search/label/Patron Let's start off with the Lady herself! And then her erstwhile companion, The Judge! I was inspired by the character of Vash the Stampede for his outfit. No Lady Justice crew would be complete without Death Marshalls... Leaping into action! Waiting for the opportune moment Or containing their excitement! Group pic! Overall I'm satisfied with my work, but the OSL is a little jarring and something I need to practice. You gotta start somewhere though!
  11. I know that one of mine is going to be for my very own self I also have a very good friend who plays guild who is likely to get one of my other two. There's a Strumpet out there gunning for the third so I don't know that I'll have any left.
  12. Ravenborne is right, my mistake. It's too early in the morning to be the morning after a 12 hour day @_@
  13. One thing to keep in mind is that some spells don't have the icon, and so don't count as ranged attacks.
  14. It starts tonight Bloomington-Normal gamers! Will you be there?
  15. We will meet again soon then, yes, soon B-)
  16. Ah, yes, that's right. That's what I get for answering questions after three straight days of driving and climbing on ladders.
  17. The way it reads, the spell gives her the ability "Single Minded," which is on her card until she shifts, at which point I think she might lose it, or at the end of that turn anyways. I've been thinking this over all day and I can't decide on that last bit.
  18. Just as an example, Rasputina's Ice Pillars specifically states that it can only be cast once per turn per crew. Either Raspy, Snowstorm, or Raspy's totem could use 1AP to cast it once but then none of them could cast it again.
  19. Want to learn how to play Malifaux? Looking to get to know the local Champaign-Urbana community? Well come on out to Armored Gopher games on July 21st between 12pm and 5pm and try out a demo! I'll have everything you need to try out the game, and I'll be happy to answer questions as well. I hope to see you there!
