So when I got my BFS order in the mail I got three master cards randomly (Collodi, Hamelin and Leveticus) what makes them special is that they are corrugated. (The character images are opposite of indented, like bumpy) so I'm wondering, did anyone else get any of these? If so what ones did you get?

I apologize if this is the wrong forum. I just got the July Newsletter which shows August and September's releases... I hope that in September they do another like "Spend $200" promotion for a special figure or such because dang by that point there's going to be enough out for me to do/merit a $200+ order. Heck I still need the M2E Crossroads Book and the Penny Dreadful In Defense of Innocence, then I want the 2E starter set which has all new models, Shifting Loyalties and its Campaign deck, the Generalist Upgrade Deck, Into the Steam and the Penny Dreadful Northern Aggression. That's already an almost $300 order I'm lining up for September so I really hope there'll be a promotion during that time. Also does anyone know if the BFS Performer model and the recent promotion Performer model for spending a lot of money were actually different or were they the same? I haven't seen anyone selling or showing pics of the newer Performer bonus model so I don't know if it's different or not but if it is I'd love to get that for my Colette crew. Anyway just my thoughts. As I don't want to waste the opportunity of spending $300 on products just to have say, the next month them have a "oh yeah NOW if you spend $300 you'll get this special thing" you know?

Well when entering the address information, I live in a St. ______ city, the first letter after the St. should be capitalized but is not... so let's say... St. Lawrence... appears as St. lawrence... not a terrible issue but still kind of can probably bug people.

I really want that special edition Performer from the Black Friday Sale. I have Miss Ery, Dead Justice crewbox, M2E open graves crew box (unopened), and of course money. The things listed above will be up for sale for fair prices. I also still need a Steam Trunk (and would rather not buy a Freikorps crew box just for that one model) so if anyone has one of these they don't want (preferably unpainted, though assembled is fine, heck I don't even need the card unless it's been changed since the arsenal box wave 1 cards) I'd be looking for that too.

I have a Dead Justice set I may be able to part with. They are assembled and base coated (like spray-painted with a white base coat) although you could easily strip that if you wanted but otherwise they are unpainted.

Do you know if The Hanging Tree has the 1E version of the cards inside, seeing as how the 2E version of the cards that came outside of it? I'd be interested in it if so. Shame the kickstarter was just a few k shy of my tier getting the hanging tree.

I have a sealed Open Graves M2E crew. It's a shame I got that one as my freebie as I think it was randomized and I probably would have really liked the Children of December Crew Box or maybe Seamus's crew. Let me know if you're interested. I'd also trade it for the M2E Freikorps box as I'll need to get that just for the steam trunk.

I really don't want to have to buy the entire Freikorps crew box (when I already have all the freikorps) JUST to get the steam trunk. I really do want the steam trunk though for my crew as it's a nice totem. Anyway just wondering if anyone knows if Wyrd will add it to be buyable separately in the store eventually or what?

Oh wow there's been a lot of chatter in this topic... am I the only one who managed to use all four hoses that came with it? (Mine only had 4 and if you look at the back of the giant cylinder there are four 'levers' that the hoses connect to) I actually did finish painting it fully and finishing it but I haven't had a chance to take pictures. I've not assembled or painted anything in a long time and now I have my Hannah from the kickstarter to do, as well as the University of Transmortis models for the story encounter.

Just did the base paint colours for him. Had to get the colour scheme to match my other Helghast inspired Freikorps, though the eyes look more red there than the orange they actually are.

Here are the pictures of mine assembled but unpainted, currently about halfway done painting him will upload pics when finished.

Yeah I made mine look like the Helghast from Killzone (they just fit so well, and they turned out amazingly) so I plan to do the same with this one, fortunately the primer took better to the strongarm suit, I made the mistake of doing him normal (like how he will go on base) then flipping him upside down and doing the rest so his head sort of 'stuck' to the cardboard I was spraying ontop of but it wasn't hard to fit just had to shave off the excess paint circle that was there and it was right in the middle of the top of the head so after painting over it won't be able to tell. Also only one of the cords snapped for me it was the one with the little loop in it but it just wouldn't reach the arm properly and the properly, though after gluing it, priming it and painting it one would prolly be hard pressed to tell, I took pictures of it assembled I will upload later, and I will then upload after painting it too. ---------- Post added at 08:52 PM ---------- Previous post was at 08:45 PM ---------- I wish I knew why your pictures show up fine when you do that but mine show up as red xs... ah well... maybe I'll take some new pics of entire crews (since I now have the showgirls crew stuff, as well as more ressurectionist stuff, and even more mercs stuff so yeah) and hope it like shows up fine when I try to post them.

I am hoping that doing the strongarm suit will be fine, because I can't stand using black primer... it makes things WAY too dark when painting, especially eyes (though no issue of that with the strongarm suit but myeah oiran there would be) ---------- Post added at 09:51 PM ---------- Previous post was at 09:42 PM ---------- That was probably my issue, in that I wasn't far enough away when spraying the primer on... argh I have to get set of the 40mm victorian bases... definantly want to use my leftover accessories on him but need the actual base

How are people liking the new models? I'm glad I know now what I learned after really messing up my Oiran and having to now prolly get a new set of them, cause plastics are not the same as pewter... yeah... I oversprayed basing spray on them at too close and like 'melted' the plastic, so my oiran have no faces or etc anymore lol, so even though messed up them and have to replace (although Strongarm was way cheaper than the Oiran set) it's definantly good to know for before I get the Hannah Freikorps Archivist from the kickstarter. Basically I suppose even if there is gray of the plastic showing through or whatever from the base coating of paint, it's fine you can still paint over it, rather than having to re-base it or etc. For the record I was using Citadel basing spray paint to do the base coat of the model. Anyway, just a heads up for anyone who hasn't dealt with the plastic models yet incase you are using Citadel brand (WHITE) basing spray paint and not the black or silver one because it may not seem like it takes strong enough but it is fine (or at least I think it is, I will do a light coat on the strongarm suit and begin painting him and see how it comes out, if it doesn't stick or starts to flake/break/etc off, at least he is cheap to replace too)

Dang, I really want the new Freikorps Strong Suit and Vanessa, Treasure Hunter, like, immediately, for my Mercs crews. Fortunately nothing new for Colette crew, but this game just keeps getting better and better. You would have thought with the new 'mounted' and 'unmounted' rulings that they woulda accounted for the 'Riders' in that they should get unmounted versions or such.

Yes, but I also want to make sure the replacement I get is the proper PEWTER one... and not a crappy plastic re-do... ()
