Of all my models,Taelor has more Master kills then any other. She has wasted Marcus,Ramos,Rasputina,and nearly a LCB.

Ok so I am looking to expand my game collection,and while I dont have an abundance of money,I do have a fairly strong supply of Painting ability. From what people have stated,it ranges from great tabletop quality to above it. Well,It will certainly help for learning the very basic,and most important foundation skill which is brush control. Learning how to put only the amount of paint you want on a model at a time is the basis for just about every other skill you will learn. Focus initially on getting a good,solid color where you want it,using thinned paint. About to the consistency of skim milk or cream depending on preference. Myself I use Reaper paints and i thin them 1 to 1 with water and work with that.

A color wheel is a immense help. Taking a look at painter's work and finding things they do that you like and asking them how they did it is also good. And most importantly... Practice Practice Practice....no one got amazing at painting overnight. The more times you slap color on a model,the better you will get.how much will depend on how much you push yourself.

But that would require one or both of them to be dead,which would be sucktastic.

Give them similar spells to samael. Trap and snare lol

Expand the rotten Belle selection. Give us a ranged gunslinger belle like a dead ronin. A Melee style belle,like corpsified Taelor or Misaki.

Well yes,this would obviously be for the part where they have had the game demod,and want to try playing a full game.

*shrugs* with Samael hopkins,instead of softening it up for Taelor to smack,I one shotted the Duet with Flaming bullets and a Red Joker flip on a double negative. *shrugs* As a general rule,Samael will rip apart the duet even with minimum damage.

Oh my goodness. a Necromunda style version of Malifaux would be so freaking spectacular that words fail me.

Well,Part of it is I have collected crews I was either interested in playing,or had all the models but the master i wanted to play with (Perdita) I considered making a list with Zoraida but as you said I wasn't sure how well it would work for a demo crew.

Ok,so as part of drumming up interest at the local game store for Malifaux,and my eventual bid for henchman,Part of what I know I need is not only a set of nicely painted crews to demo with,but ones that can embody all the wonderful wyrdness of Malifaux and still be able to be easily understood when being demo'ed. So far,the crews I have enough to demo with are Sonnia,Perdita,Seamus,Von Schill...and Im working on getting Collette together. I am thinking to round it out that Lillith would be a good choice. Collette,6ss, Cassandra,Gunsmith, Performer, and 1 Mechanical Doves(2 more ready to be summoned) Lilith,5ss, 3 Terror Tots,Lilu,Lillitu,Young Nephilim(with the Models to level the tots up to Matures of course.) Von Schill,3ss,Librarian,Trapper,Specialist,Taelor. Sonnia,8ss, Austringer, Death Marshal, Witchling Stalker, Samael Hopkins(with another Witchling ready to be summoned) Perdita,4ss, Nephilim, Santiago, Nino, Abuela Seamus,4ss,2 Rotten Belles,Punk Zombie,Crooked Man,Convict Gunslinger (with a third Belle ready to be summoned) The idea was to have relatively decent sized game so that people can get a good feel for it. And having a 25 point game seemed a good place to start,It just meant figuring out how to best make each master about equal. Also giving a list to work with that didnt have some of the glaring holes that some box sets are stuck with. Now obviously before Demoing with them,I would have to become very familiar with the models that I havent played before,but I wanted to see what people suggested. Specifically with the Collette crew,as I wasn't sure how to get everything to fit in 25 points and still have the collette feel,without being overwhelming or underpowered.

Way to overreact much? what i was trying to say is that if it isnt contrasting against something another store is planning,that we will get MORE players then just the local ones that support Red Castle. Which as far as I have been able to tell is pretty much just me and hans. So with game attendance being a problem recently,I was looking for ways to increase it. By trying to get some of the people from Ordo,from Cog Collective. As far as being pissy about Guardian games hosting events on the last saturday of the month. For one I still havent ever played Malifaux at Guardian.I dont plan on playing Malifaux at Guardian..so believe me when I say I want as big a player base at Red Castle as possible.So yeah,I agree that it sucks. But the question I have for you is..If Guardian wants to have a set day for events at their store..which from what I am understanding is going to be the case with them having the tourney on the last saturday of the month..Are you going to keep posting it on the same day,or are you going to have it on a different day? I know you posted this before they posted the second time around...Thats not the point. Also having it opposite OFCC might very well cause difficulties. To sum it up..I could make it...but I think for a good tournament turnout,you could get more people by having it two weeks later. I think you could get an even better regular turn out by having a set weekend each month for a tournament or League game.

That would really depend. It doesn't seem like anyone plays on Saturdays or Wednesdays anymore except for me lol. If people will actually show up,I think either one will work nicely. If you can make sure it doesn't compete with anything at Guardian I think we could manage to actually get some decent attendance as well.

Since everyone else has allready stated wht boxes are good to start with,I will go into a little bit more of things that are good to add. Nino,if you arent playing perdita.he is long range death in a 7 point package.If you are playing perdita you allready have him. A guild austringer or two.These guys...there are just way too many uses for them. A watcher or two. Guild crews have some mobility issues,not many,but they have some mild issues getting far objectives..the watchers can take care of that nicely. A witchling stalker or two if your not running Sonnia. these guys have hunter and scout,so good mobility. they can mess up enemy casters quite nicely.

All comes down to tactics use. It isn't even that difficult to prevent actually,all you have to do is blast the death marshal before he gets to where he needs to deliver the Executioner.

Well,I would debate taking the desperate mercs out,given the fact that von schill loves his soulstones lol. The specialist might be a good thing to consider,perhaps taking the place of one of the trappers. The specialist is a great deterrent to being swarmed.

Which honestly makes me wonder how I ended up as the guild hound lol. Although this did mean that I am going to have to get some of them,and since Sonnia needed something fast moving it works.

You guys would have to choose the one night during the week that i have tabletop gaming and thus cant switch things around...bah.
