  1. I think that Infinity might be one of the best ever table top skirmish systems. The rules are great and just work well. Having said that I find the factions and background a little boring. The minis are good I just don't care for the look.
  2. Two of you have mentioned painting then to match the faction. Is this common? I did think about trying this, one does just have to look at the boxes to be tempted
  3. I am looking for opinions here. I am not really used to the large round bases. I have painted many GW style bases. I have no problem with pinning the minis etc... My question is with the inserts do you paint the rim of the base of just leave it black? I picked up some of the Victorian inserts and they will be hard to match.
  4. They look great! I have ordered from them before and have had no problems. It has only taken 5-10 days to get product. It has arrived it good shape. I rreally like their stuff and have used it for various minis. I do believe that I will be ordering these as well
  5. My roleplay group has been playing Savage Worlds, Deadlands. Is it any wonder that I started out with Lady J and Death Marshals The Weird West amd Malifaux what a combo! As to other games I play to many to list
  6. Also don't forget to check out your local train stores. They are a terrain makers treasure trove! They can hekp with both bases and terrain. O gage train buildings are just about right for Malifaux.
  7. Gift certs to warstore = Malifaux "my prcious"
  8. Funny you should mention that as I used a Savage world deck as my fate deck in my first couple of games :musicus:
  9. Have now ordered the Lady J boxed set :smokin:
  10. Excellent work, They look nice and gritty. I really like the way you did the Judge. I have a hard time with white. You managed to still give him a dark and menacing look.
  11. So what do you do when a friend shows up with a rule book for a game you aren't familiar with? Give it a quick read. Find some proxies and start playing :juggle: (note to self next time you do this make your first game a 2 way game not a 4 way game) I think that it is safe to say that we had a great time. We all all played 25 points. I am sure that we probably made a few mistakes but we had fun. We all choose a differnt faction just to see what they were like. The fluff in the book was great. We had as much fun say some of the names when it was their turn to activate as we had actually playing the game. The flip system took a little getting used too. Up to now the only games that I have seen anything like that in has been several historical minis and than only for initative. I ordered a copy of the rules this morning. I am not sure which faction I will get first. In the first game I played Lady J with 4 death marshals, Nino Ortega(i think that was his name cowboy w/gatling gun range16), and the Scales of Justice. The game was utter chaos. I went head to head with some undead types and things where going pretty good. Then I got pig stampeded in the flank. Oh their was also some boom stick action along the way. While I tended to the pork the nurses tended to the dead and I had to start all over on that front. Luckily the pigs were diverted by an ice wall and went elsewere. Bottom line is that I died horroribly or was recruited however you want to look at it it was a great game. Did you get all that?
