My fist was Colette. I have a huge soft spot for her but I don't play as many games with her as I like because of the limited options for her though I am about to try new strategies for her. She gets maybe 10% or my games at the moment even though she is by far my favorite. I have since picked up in order Raspy, Victoria, Lilith, Marcus, Dreamer, Sonnia, Hoffman(Not put together yet ). I guess that puts me into the Dirty Dirty Slut but at least I am not nearly as bad as at least 3 people at the store I play at.

I can go from relaxing more fluffy games to a more hardened fast game setup. Its just a different vibe and I like it plus its 3-5 games in rapid succession. Plus with the crew around here its just fun even if we are competitive.

Hey I was wrong good to know. Now I can rock 2 slate ridge mauler makes it so much better. I am happy to have a firm ruling now, I could have sworn about that thing a year ago but now we we know and knowing is half the battle. You do still need those models though if you are going to play with them in a competitive environment.

I do not know where that ruling was it was over a year ago so it might be worthless now with the rules manual. Under Transformation though it goes through and says you replace your original models with the new one that includes everything but the spells which means if that model is a rare 1 your transformed Myranda is now that beast with rare one so if you had one on the table before you can't turn into it because you would have 2 rare one models. That's how I remember if someone wants to get a ruling on that its fine. I will reiterated if you a friendly game do what you want with models or just bases, in a tournament you have the model or you don't that also counts for summoning rats and alps and witchling stalkers.

I have I think every beast that has been released so I just have a pile of beast next to the table for her to transform into. Remember this was an old ruling if I remember correctly that even with a transform you can't have 3 tigers on the table or 2 of the new bears. I just have all the models for her to change into. Yours could work but under the rules you actually need the model.

I just don't get it cause I am more Team Arcanist cause I love my beast and my ice and they mix and match. They should get together and go out to a show together I am sure the star has something fun t o watch.

No that's when you put nightmare Chompy in a sock and beat the behavior out of them. Its therapeutic for both of you. Plus then he knows whose boss.

In Charlotte we have no bans or house rules but we are laid back for the most part so not many power gamers it helps.

The dreamer is great and has tons of tricks and is lots of fun to play with. The big issue with is the alps because they make slow and do wounds on your opponents activations and gives negative twists to those tests so its very hard to pass and they are 3 points a pop. Its alps that people have the big issue with from what I have seen. It gets over the top when someone brings 3+. The dreamer does have enough models to have fun with so you don't really need to take them. They are also a one trick pony they drop on a models ruin its day and if you clump up they drop on the clump. Don't let the Dreamer/Alp hate deter you from getting the dreamer just make sure you vary your lists and have fun with it.

If your opponent is the same most of the time and he always brings the "Alp Bomb" and he is always bringing 4 in the 25-35 sized game yes I would have not problem with just walking away from him. It doesn't work in the tournament setup but I think most people play for fun. I personally think there are ways of getting around it but it is a very nasty list. I have taken alps in numbers 3 or more only twice and have to say they aren't fun to play with, they make for a slow game and not a hugely strategic one. I would recommend you say to the other player you play in a fun game why are you taking that list, if they say they just want to test it out let them if they need to win at all cost in a friendly game don't play them. Remember it is a game if you are not having fun don't play if you are having fun well great you are having fun. Trust me 2 teddies with corpelious, and a stitched add some daydreams is a great 35 stone list that is fun for both players. So if he is always wants to just stomp with one list that you don't enjoy playing against walk away or learn how to beat it which is hard to do I enjoy having Cassandra nuke it but well everyone has there own ways to deal. I also do not support banning models or forcing changes to models unless they are agreed on by are persons involved.

So ya this question is with the new beast that are out who do you like best with marcus and I will throw in a wrinkle of who you also like best for aMarcus So first rule of thumb I said friend so no make sorry Myranda you are out. I think that is everything. If I missed anything write in votes are fine. Wow thats a ton of beasts. For me for normal Marcus he love 3 Silirid to just run in make something a beast and stare down so the pack can leap in and maul them to death. For aMarcus I think I like the Slate Ridge because you force it to charge and well attack a ton at paired cb 7 or 9.

I think it is more to keep people from thinking that the more money you have you will win this. If you allowed people to bring painted for them armies it would discourage other people in your scene to care as much because it would be seen as he has more money he paid for someone to paint is army better. I think it is more for the other players and not for you and if there is a person there who did paint that army I think they should be able to say I painted that he didn't I am up for the painting competition. Ya I just wanted to know why the hate on the others but I had another fun game with Marcus tonight it was vs the Criid who is never fun to see on the other side when you are an anarchist player. So I had marcus hit her with the stick and a group of catfishmen ripped her face off. I love my Marcus and Raspy I think I might have to get Ramos soon. JuJubee you must fear the the biting chill.

I have to say December was fun to play as I think she is worse then normal Raspy overall just because of how I play raspy. Ramos Looks cool might make me pick him up as he is the only Archanist I don't have. Marcus Looks awesome I just think he will really be hard to get out effectively. Colette is a bit of a disappointment. I was hoping for more soulstone use. I like that she can manipulate cards I just don't think she does enough. I can see some fun ideas with her but you are so dependent on tomes with bedazzle which is what she is there for. I think not having slow to die is huge because well she will die very quickly because the decoys don't have use soulstone. But they all look like fun to play at some point in time

I can't remember one but we know the Myranda enjoyed being in that form from book 3. I think waldgeist would work and be happy with Lilith as she does have no issue with the woods they live in and has the ability for making more woods. But no there is no fluff and if they are going after the Ortega's it will be in the plain so Just a ton of little guys would be fun with Nekima and the BBS you would probably get a big guy by the end of the game at 45 stones. Tuco, Nekima, BBS, 2 tots, 2 young, No totem that way.

I have actually been building a similar battle in my head. Slight tweeks I have made is that I have a nice large 3 story house that I would put in the middle of the table and let the Ortega's deploy in and then you have woods on the outside of the table that the Lilith Crew gets to deploy on whatever table edge they want. Also Bodygaurd and claim jump for mine as its who controls the building. I would drop one of the matures if not both building this list with Nekima in it. If I dropped one I would put in 1 tot and the Black Blood if you want to keep it fluffy. You could still easily have 2 youngs turn one without needing to put in say a desperate Merc. I love the Ortega crew. I agree about the twins and thanks for not putting them in and I love having Tuco in there because he is going to be awesome.

Yes you can use it as Southern Charm does not target. Its the same with the other rulings on her for things like Illusionist. The key word in this is Targeted.

I am making the assumption that if you say used her melee expert then changed into a Slate Ridge Mauler you would not get its Melee expert as you were already an expert at melee would love to be wrong but would also love to find out the answer.

Where is that from I am forgetting. I have always loved the Tyrants so its great learning the most about them. That would not be false with the current plot points as they are now because there is no reason they could still not be the best and brightest.

I would say Mask Tome if you were going to do any of these because Mask Crow is built in. I really don't feel that any of those need a fix because its what makes someone like Nino and Rasputina. If you want to fix double take the idea to change it to Mask Tome would be fine or make it so you can't cast Lure in combat or trigger double take in combat.

Yes actually they are these once locked up or half destroyed greater beings were trying to gain more power and break free. As after the Grave spirit was resealed December says "This world and the world of men will know a new age, an age of eternal winter! Your heroes will be consumed, and their strength will be added unto mine!" So it shows he is still going to consume and ascend. Ya Pandora's box does seem like it could be a Tyrant in prison or hiding, and Chompy could be or some other entity.

The reason for him to have graverobber is to get corpse counters on the field before avatar raspy manifests. She really needs them so its nice to have some to summon off of.

So I wanted to see if anyone has picked out anything else about what the Tyrants are up to. So we have December(Raspy)- Ice- Hurt by vikies book one, slapped down by Raspy book 2 and put in its place again by Raspy in book 3 when she was willing to kill herself. Threat Level - Low Grave Spirit(Seamus)- Death - Attempted to come out during book one and Ramos with his huge construct help reseal the spirit. Seamus tries to bring it out in book three before he gets a flaming bullet to the skull. Its still in between worlds Threat Level - Moderate Cherufe(Sonnia) - Fire - Was the cause of The Event when his prison fell from the sky and released the wave of energy. Sonnia had him under control, stabbed herself in the heart, until Hopkins was a good dog and tried to help Sonnia. Now she is on a fire breathing path through the sewers. Current State is First book Raspy. Threat Level - High Plague(Hamelin) - Disease - So in book two Hamelin walks into Plague and Plague takes him whole and is now in full control of him from what I can see. He is the one who helps bring Cherufe back to Malifaux. Not much in book three other then Plague is still spreading. Threat Level - High The Gorgon(Molly) - Fear/Insanity - I forget the first time the Gorgon comes up if it is in the Chronicles or in book 1 when pictures are taken of it and stories of the ghost around it. Molly is given it I believe by Seamus at some point in time. Stories say that everyone who has the stone dies in a strange manner. In book 3 is used to kill a man and to revive Seamus after he gets a flaming bullet in the skull. Threat Level - Unknown Tyrant of the Machine(Ramos) - Machines- Ramos is confronted by the Hoff and Lady J about an image in an ancient book that Ramos uses in some of his advanced constructs. I am making the assumption it will be a Tyrant. Threat Level - Low Rider(Leveticus) - Destruction - Ok this one is a bit out there because he was stuck in the Aether and the horsemen came for him. I think he might be a tyrant of destruction going after the others? Threat Level - Moderate So the last 2 are a speculation but from the fluff we know there are more Tyrants out there just the most ambitious are coming out to play. If you have any others that I missed or you think I am wrong about something please speak up. I really loved the fluff this book so I wanted to speak out. Also I really think the Governor General has something really wrong about him can't wait to see what happens there. Oh and why do I have to wait a year for more fluff its sooooo good.
