I have played alot of games with Lucuis and he struggles against nearly every master. If you changed the austringers he would be useless. Austringers arnt broken or not working as intended. I am never sure why people think they are broken or overpowered. I have played with them and against them and never thought of them as broken or not working as intended and neither have the people I played them against. I have to say I do not think Guild are broken in fact I am in the camp that they are underpowered. In my gaming groups Guild crews are rare and there losing streaks are massive. If I draw Guild in a tournament I am happy as I know there is a massive chance I am going to win. The only time I have every lost against guild is when I am using Guild.

Well we know that September and October will see the release of rest of Book 2 ressers and Arcanists as well as a few book 3 models. In November we get one of the new Outcast models. So judging on that I dont think we will see any new neverborn till at least December. There are 6 new minions per faction I think, so should not take to long for all of them to be released. It looks like in Sept,Oct and Nov Wyrd will be realising around 4 clamshells and then a Alt master and avatar plus the last henchmen boxs. As there are no new boxsets in Book 3 all the models should be out quicker than book 2.

I found a few half spider half women models in the Reaper range, but I have no idea on size so not sure if they will fit on a 40mm base. http://www.reapermini.com/OnlineStore/Shaerileth/sku-down/03465#detail/03465_p_1_af I do like that Freebooter model, not sure how to make her spidery without ruining the sculpt. May pick her up anyway as the model is only going to last till the official model is out and she will be cheaper than the Reaper one.

Anybody know any good models to use as proxy till the Widow Weaver is out ? Does she only support dolls or does she have some offensive spells of her own. Also how hard is it to cast the spell to create teddy.

Can someone explain the new Doll Effigys . Can Collodi take as many as he likes or are they like a new kind of totem and he can only take one at a time. Also any more info on the neverborn one would be great.

The new dolls are totems so can only hire one at a time. So he can hire: Stitched Wicked Dolls Marinates Spider lady Totem

While Collodi did get 4 new totems and one new minion, on the field he can still only field 5 different types of model. Molly on the other hand can hire 6. I know that is not a massive jump but she can still field more variety than Collodi

I wondering if the Weaver is based off the Weaver in China Mievillen's books ? Does it have a passion for scissors ?

Would also like to know the conditions for Azorida. AZordia looks like she will be quite good with Jack Daw and maybe Hans for his autohead shot.

I have only played one game with Collodi myself against Hoffman but it went pretty well. I normally start with Collodi give all my puppets within 4" fast. Then he casts puppet show to try and give two of them melee expert. Then a maronette will walk 5", then pull strings to bring collodi into base contact. Next Maronette will zero action so he is in base contact with collodi. He will then either charge or move and pull strings to move Collodi depending on where the enemy is or what I am doing. Third Maronette does the same either move Collodi another 10" or charge and do some damage as he should have melee expert Fourth Maronette will either use its zero action and then charge or will use pull strings to pull Collodi to it to pull him to saftey. I try and waste enemy activations with my sitched together or wicked dolls so I can move all the maronettes at the same time.

Would love some info on the Widow Weaver and the Witchling Handler.

Hoping for some info on the new Guild and Neverborn minions. I suppose we wont get many spoilers till after Gen Con when the people with the book get time to read it through. Only 6 weeks till the book comes out in the UK !

Really cant wait to get my Zorida Avatar so any more info would be great. Would really like to know what you need to do to manifest her.

Thanks for the info on the dolls. Just got one question on them are they small like wicked dolls so Ht1 and only a few wounds or are they are bit bigger. Was hoping for a few larger dolls for Collodi

I just would like to know if there are any new Friekorps or Guardsmen minons. Basicly any info on any new special forces minons for Outcast,Guild and Neverborn

My club is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I try to get to one of these nights each week. So I normally get one game a week. You only get 2.5 hours on the table per session so can only every squeeze in one game, but sometimes there is a table open in the later session and I can get in two.

My book which I assume is first print as I got it the day it came out has them as just special forces. If some peoples book say rare 3 then I think those books might be second print. How do you see if your book is second print or first.

Kirai for me. I am just never sure how to beat her. Last game against her I had to face around 6 Shikome during the game (not all at the same time) . Not really any other masters I struggle against, just kirai or maybe its just the shikome.

This month I will be working on a Convict Gunslinger and Taelor. I did some work on my Gunslinger this morning and pretty happy where he is after 3 hours of work. He stills needs alot of work as most of its just basecoats but he is coming together. Just saw he is meant to be wearing gloves oh well. With Malifaux models I like to work on one model at a time. So wont start Taelor till the Gunslinger is finished.

I know how you feel. I was not sure on them when I first saw them. But I have started to come around, I changed some of the hands around on Collodi and he looks much better. I am painting them in a black and purple scheme. I will post up some pictures tomorrow when I have them all finished. I really got him as he plays very differently from my normal guild crews. Also killer puppets awesome ! I may swap some of his models for ones from puppet wars but we will see.

I brought a Collodi crew yesterday plus a pack of Stitched together. I started to put them together today which was not hard as all but Collodi are one piece. I undercoated them all at around 4pm and so far I have one stitched together, 2 Marionettes and 1 wicked doll painted. Going to wait for the august Wyrd release to get some bases for them. Aim is to get them finished by the end of the weekend and try them out on Thursday. Only problem is I am bit short of SS for a 35 game. I need Wyrd to release Zorida's alt so I know if want that one or her original model.

I know last year some people at my gaming club got there Gen Con orders about the time they came out in the local gaming store. It really depends when you order during Gen Con and if the postal fairies are in a good mood. I know a few things where delayed for a week last year but its really a gamble. You may get it a week or two early or around the same time.

Sounds like a fun game. It does seem you made a few mistakes. Marcus could not pick up the treasure as it was not his strategy. Also you said "Luckily the Freikorps armor reduced the Ice Gamin minimum damage completely." Even with armour they would deal 1 damage, even if reduced to zero it would cause 1 damage.
