What release list?

Played a game last night and my oponent thought it ment other then the attacker and defender. I have played as we did not need the 3rd model. But I could understand why he read it that way. I did not want to short change him by continueing to play it wrong.

Hate to bump but I am realy curious how others play this situation. If any one has 2 cents on if a 3rd model is needed I would love to see how others play this.

Torakage in base model with an attacker. Does it require a 3rd model for the Neg flip or because he is within 3 inches of the other model who is attacking would there be a neg flip?

I am mainly a 10t player but the change to jacobs crew left me with a bunch of models I love how they are painted up but I cant play them. I was thinking of picking up Lilith so i could use them and Tots would be great on Jacob if I play him NB. Just not sure I want to drop 40 bucks on models just so grow is an option. I am not sure about mid range but I dont think I would pay the ss for mature.

Jacob owns the honey pot casino that got in bad shape. The 10t backed him with money and now they call on him to do things to repay the debt. When he could not pay off the 10t and they got close to collecting Huggy who is a Neverborn gave him a way to start making enough money that the 10t did not want to take it out of his skin instead of his pocket book. He is basicly just stuck between a rock and a hard place and owes 2 sets of people more then he can repay. For the most part his core crew can be used on both sides of the situation. The big difference is what options he has out side of his main crew for extra models. Look at models on both sides and decide what looks more intresting for you. Few models I would recomend on both sides of things. 10T Torakag-Free cards to ditch to make there 3 range attacks with push. I like to load up on these guys with him. Neverborn Terror Tots- Once you get the Ace of mask these guys are fast as hell. Currently he is my fav master. He is Loads of fun to play on both sides. If your trying to pick a faction I say get his set and core models. Proxy a few things on both sides and then pick.

For regular Lilith players do you find the Nephilim box a must get upgrade to her crew? I am pondering picking up her box set and im not sure if I want to get the Nephilim box to go with it.

They are what they are. Unfortunately undead hookers are better at lure then living hookers who knew.

Rules manual on Cool stuff inc says the 20th of this month. Any one know anything about the validity of that date?

For the first year ever nothing Not sure if I would have ordered if there was any 10t to be had but nothing for them so i did not give it much thought.

Eric I am glad you took the time to post feedback. Dont have to but did and I give you props for that. I have no desire to keep playing any version of malifaux at this point but I hope you will look in to some sort of a 1.0/1.5 open enviorment for the fans that do want it. Even if your upset at Bill no one voted him in as the spokesperson for those left behind. I do want to say filling even to 50% capacity on a game edition that is being given up for a new edition says a lot about how much people do want to play. You got that much support out there even after most people who give a crap about 1.5 have given up on the wyrd boards. I wish you the best of luck that malifaux does well as perhaps down the road 3.0 will be a game I want to play.

Funny Wizards said the same thing about pathfinder.

Some one tried to do exactly that and got wyrd legal jargon to not try and do that in any organised way very recently. I dont plan on playing any version. I am intrested to see how the whole 2e thing ends up panning out thus i am hanging out with free work time.

Glad you enjoy it. Nothing wrong with that at all. I was just giving an example of what does not work for me. I am not saying that all upgrade options for games are bad. If they had left all the old upgrades available perhaps I would find the game more to my taste. Fact is they did not. I simply liked the old options better. I find the new game bland.

How is it hard to see what people dont like about the new edition. You may not agree with them but fact is changes were made that moved the game in a new direction. They may not like the new art style, the upgrade system, lower power to soul stones, ext. There are lots of things some one may not like about the new system. Personaly I miss the hude range of tactical options. Models got steamlined old abilitys are gone. I miss that I felt like there were tons of options I could take in any game. There are less now that is a simple fact of the game. For you it may be enough but models have less abilitys so i have less options. I want a highly complex game with tons of options with every model. 2.0 Simply feels like Warmahords to me now. Most models have a couple basic abilities shared by all and then 1 or 2 one of a kind ability. Old malifaux most models had 4 or 5. It worked for me.

Eh I would say this is very untrue. D&D is a perfect example how fans can make companys back track. Wizards said 3.5 is dead as a door nail we wont support it. Wizards now prints and sells some 3.5 books as premium versions because the demand is there. They lost huge numbers of there player base with the move to 4th edition. Note how much they are taking fan direction with D&D next. I personaly think 1.5 is dead and that is not going to change. Fans can and have make gaming companys go hey wait we might not want to do this. Bill could take another route and pull his own pathfinder

I plan on posting the same thing as I did last time malifaux got a new version Levi is broken in his V2 card and im going to quit the game if his v2 version is offical. PS I was right last time its why we all have v3 on levi

I do know, and i think they need another year. Wyrd has put out a book a year so far. Lets look at how it has done. Book 2 has major balance issues. I cant imagine any one out there thinking book 2 was balanced with book 1 models. Book 3, avatars imho dont work well. I think wyrd itself has been unhappy with avatars. Other models in book are not bad but Avatars was book 3 flag ship. Book 4 was well done I will give you that. That being said it was also the smallest book to date. Now they are trying to put out a new version of the game. Ya I think they need more time. Hell they are giving us a beta test in june that needs to go to printers and back before the end of august. I have been in a wyrd beta and watched the results. I love wyrd but they rush things out the door for the gen con deadline.

Rage best ccg I have ever played so much fun and aptly named. Nothing will **** you off faster then your rank 10 geting rent asunder and dieing in 1 hit. I Doubt it but would so love to see this come back as a LCG. A lot of people were ****ed off when White Wolf caned this one. They even said it was not that it was unfrofitable they just did not want to be involved in the CCGs any more. The remake was a joke tho. L5R was a great game right untill the back change thing. New netrunner has mostly killed Malifaux for me. Once 2.0 beta is released I will be looking in to it with hope tho. I do got to say wyrd should realy hold it off a year. 2.0 is going to be a huge deal for the game. I have done some wyrd beta in the past that I felt was rushed for the deadline of gen con and IMHO avatars show what happens when you rush for a deadline and put out a product that is not ready. I hope they prove my issues are off and they put out a great product.

Given that i use lynch to get a new hand pritty much every game. i would be down for a ditch hand for a ss being as new rules have toned them way down.
