  1. I don't have the time to search right now, but I believe the damage transfer thing was ruled on before. I remember it as the damage is simultaneous so if the blast kills the seishin you can't transfer damage from Kirai to it. I don't think the ruling was all that long ago, but I really don't remember what the original thread was about. Maybe someone else remembers or Sketch will chime in.
  2. This... +some ridiculously large number with so many zeros, only some extremely nerdy mathematicians have actually heard of it.
  3. it needs a range greater than 1 to be of any use other than to transport your own models. If it had a range of 6" it would be more feasible to use it offensively. I had no deisre to play LJ in her original form so I never paid much attention to the DM. However when I got the dead justice box and started to look at the cards I was very surprised to find that pine box had only 1" range. Pretty much means that I can carry my own models, or ignore the ability all together (which is what I've been doing). Especially as a (2) action, it is rather lackluster.
  4. If we start begging now, do you think we can get the exorcist to become elite division when he is released? He seems pretty elite to me and I'd love to be able to take him with Lucius.
  5. @GamerGaeth - it has been ruled elsewhere that a paralyzed model completely skips it's activation. therefore it does not take the poison damage until it is no longer paralyzed. So the first activation after being paralyzed is skipped. on that models next activation, it takes 4 DG.
  6. Billy Ray Cyrus! BTW, I think he should be in all black. I will definetely paint mine that way
  7. Lets not forget, the only work every other turn. You have to give them the even turns off for breaks. All I want from the new book is more gremlins, Oh and a thread in the miniatures matters section for people to bitch about aMarcus, so I don't have to see it in every other thread that has nothing to do with aMarcus.
  8. The young are awesome. they can cast Ophelia's "between the eyes" spell and pretty much guarantee a (or at least even flip) for damage. they have good DF, and enemy models are to target them at range. Also, they are reckless so you can move them twice and then use between the eyes for a 20 or 22" threat range (I cant recall if they move 5 or 6)
  9. I don't think I've ever played against Kirai and she hadn't used her (0) action that overrides that ability. It's actually good for Ramos if the Seishin are sacrificed because they don't come back. If Kirai uses her (0) to make them ignore fragile connection then they come back when they are killed because they count as killed So you either get your 2 points for the scheme or you significantly weaken Kirai by taking away her protection and fuel for summons. Seems like a pretty good trade to me.
  10. I second this.....don't we gremlin players suffer enough?
  11. yeah, when I saw this in the other thread, I knew there would be some pissed off people. I for one think it is sweet, and it isn't like most didn't see this coming after the story line in RP.
  12. lawyer makes them "not friendly." He does not make them enemies, so if alpha says "enemy" beast it won't work to use the lawyer on your own beasts.
  13. Actually I don't have a reference, but if they wanted the dg to always be 1, they would have given him armor 3 vs and . I'm certain that they wanted to make him immune to exploding pigs. The only refernce I can think of is that the dg can't be reduced below 1 is part of the armor rule, not the dg rules themselves.
  14. Yes, you just can't cheat from your hand. Just like a black joker situation
  15. I think I can help with these two things, on the first point he was very wrong. It is once per turn per crew, meaning each crew may cast it once per turn not once for each crew in the game. on the second, I believe the bearskin cloak makes them immune to and . He would be immune to any blasts that come from the attacks but if the model was targetted by the attack it would still take the original damge from the weapon as it is not a blast. the bearskin armor makes the model immune to papa blowing up and take ya with me, but not the initial damge from the dynamite. And of course, welcome to the forums
  16. Raphael Lacroix, wonder if I can turn him blue...
  17. Actually, I believe that Seamus doesn't heal as all of them take damage at the same time and thus die at the same time. This was mentioned elsewhere ina Kirai thread I believe stating that Kirai couldn't push damage off on to a Seishin that was going to get killed by the same blast that hit Kirai edit: missed the part about detonate tanks, this is different as it is seperate attacks from the ability so if you hit seamus first (and do enough damage to kill him) he is dead and gone before you even do the next attack in sequence
  18. if you try to make a message, or edit your signature, you will see the smilie button in the toolbar. if you click on that and then scroll down to the bottom and click on show all smilies, you will be able to see..............all smilies
  19. Actually, can't the viks only hire mercenaries? none of the gremlins are mercenaries.
  20. OK, I just purchased my showgirl crew and I need to plan the bases. I really don't want the standard "stage" bases (nothing wrong with them, just want something a little different.) Anyone have any interesting ideas? I was thinking maybe some kind of graphic under a clear resin (playing cards?)
  21. you forgot the young Lacroix (no release date)
  22. Actually I was thinking more like a big furry ninja
  23. Have you really never noticed Weird Sketch's Avatar?
  24. I'm still not sure what to make of it. I like most of the actors they've chosen. except I don't think Theon is really how I pictured him, and I don't care for Cersei either. Tyrion is great and he is the best character in the books as far as I'm concerned. I find it a little strange that Sean Bean is given top billing considering he is likely to not make it out of season 1 alive. (I'm guessing season finale is the end of lord Stark) And for those who are unaware, book 5 is due for release on july 12, 2011 (yes that is 2011)
  25. I'm not sure what thread you were reading, but keltheos ruled that insignificant from hamelin lasts through the entire end of the game so they do not count for objectives @chipacabra - this has been ruled on in the rules forum. In the thread about totems and soulstones. I'm on my phone so no link
