  1. That's two different figures. One based on a Wyrd metal base and the other based on a resin cobblestone base from Fenris.
  2. Nicely done and I agree, the bamboo is an excellent touch! One thought, though- She is a little unrelievedly green. Have you considered a contrasting color for her scarf/wrap/whatever that is...?
  3. Just to remove all doubt...
  4. I picked up an extra blister of Treasure counters from Reaper: These should work well as Malifaux treasure counters as they're already roughly 25mm-30mm in dimension. They're a bit square to fit comfortably on a 30mm display base, but that's easily addressed with trimming or with mounting them on a scenic base. I'd like to swap them for a Malifaux blister or sell them outright. Shipping from the USA.
  5. I like the "Vash the Stampede" color choices for Hans. I'm intending something similar when I get around to him.
  6. High-quality work. I agree that we need some close-ups, though...
  7. Bah! The Lelu and the Lilitu are the ones I want to see...!
  8. I actually rather like Rasputina's "startled" pose, but I can certainly understand why folks might want to enhance it with a sculpted spell effect to drive the concept of casting home. Nice work on re-posing the Golem. Its original pose is far too static.
  9. I think that the posing and the sense of character from the piece is great. You do have a giant honking mold line running right down the middle of the face, though. In the future, an extra little bit of prep before you start painting will make a world of difference.
  10. Rasputina's fishnet stockings are a nice touch (and the prison tattoos on the Convict).
  11. Black Cat Bases: http://blackcatbases.com/
  12. Now that's a good idea! Use scenic counters for singletons and swap them out for blanks when you need to stack 'em. It might be a good idea to color-code the blanks so you can tell which are which if a character is holding different types of markers.
  13. Can someone post a picture of the Terra-clips inserts?
  14. In an instance of shocking stupidity, I went and did the same thing all over again (ie: Purchased a D&D figure off eBay wiithout a proper idea of the scale). In this instance, I was looking for alternate Flesh Construct figures for Dr. McMourning to create in-game, and I came accross this fellow: I thought: "There's no way that guy can be too large to fit comfortably on a 40mm base, right...?" Oops! "Ya better be nice to me, or my big brudder will mess ya up...!" Of course, if one wanted to mount the Bersek Flesh Golem on a big wood chip rock, you could probably squeeze him onto a 40mm base OK, I've just been wanting to use the same Fenris resin bases for all of my McMourning figures. Oh well, live and (don't) learn, apparently...
  15. As I recall, the post about them before said that they were made with individual pieces of brass rod cut to length, with the bindings between some of the poles made out of green stuff epoxy putty. Shouldn't be too difficult to replicate...
  16. Nice! Teddy is really coming along...! "If you go out in the woods today, you'd better go in disguise..."
  17. They are very pink, aren't they... Right now the plan is to give them a couple of coats of a brush-on white primer (can't use a spray because the propellant will supposedly melt them). They will also get sand on their bases which will be painted as dirt and then covered with snow scatter. The pillars themselves will receive an ice effect to match my Ice Golum and my Gamin.
  18. Thanks for the update (just spent an evening cutting out a bunch of the previous versions...!). One thing I was going to suggest was adding Blood Counters for Lilith and her brood (since they don't appear on the Tabletopgeeks counter sheets here): http://tabletopgeeks.com/wp-content/downloads/malifaux/misc/Malifaux%20WIP%20Tokens.pdf But you beat me to the punch...!
  19. Stupidity mitigated! I was able to sell my Fire Elemental on at a break-even price and I put together these Ice Pillar models in an idle moment:
  20. One thing that I found in using these is that the black background made it difficult to cut them out in a neat circle. It might be advisable to give them each a thin black border on a white background to make it easier to eyeball the cut - Just a thought.
  21. I actually prefer the plainer counters (as pictorial counters mean that you're locked into a particular artists interpretation). Nice work on those, I've been meaning to go to the printer and get some run off on a heavier cardstock and these look just the ticket. Thanks!
  22. Looks good. Are those made out of Hirst Arts pieces?
  23. Thanks for posting those, I've been wondering how the Dragon Forge trench bases looked in action - Very nice!
