Items such as canned & boxed goods, pasta, packaged cold cuts, diapers and more are always in high demand. Food / Gas Cards: Gift cards in small amounts of $10, $20 or $25 are needed especially by our veteran families and those veterans searching for or commuting to work. Hello, Similar to my tournament last year around the same time I am running a tournament to benefit Operation Stand Down-RI. It is a 50ss Gaining Grounds Tournament. All Veterans will receive an upgrade they can use once per game free of charge, everyone else can purchase the upgrade. Entry fee is a donation from a list of items I will post shortly. Food provided by my lovely wife for a small donation. Location is at Table Top Games, 46 North Main Street, Fall River, MA 02720 (508) 567-1620 Please consider coming. This is a truly worthy cause. As some of you know, I have two sons who were deployed to the middle east, so anything that will help veterans is near and dear to my heart. Hopefully I'll see you there!

We had eleven people! First round the April Fool was the first Joker flipped in the tournament became the other one for everyone for round 1. Ed flipped the black joker, which became the red joker, so everyone had two red jokers in their decks! Round two I had everyone create their crews and set up, then replaced the scheme pool for that round with another one... Third round saw the low card win initiative. Last year a big tournament in the Northeast got cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. A member of the community suggested we run something on the same day, and a tournament was born! This year we are back! June 4, 2016 at Table Top Games in scenic Fall River, MA, located at 46 North Main Street. (508) 567-1620 10am Registration, 11am Cards flip. Gaining Grounds 2016 rules to be used. Painting is required. If there is enough interest I will put together a swag bag for entrants. Food supplied by my lovely wife, for a small fee. This is going to be a private event, meaning the store will be closed while the tournament is going on. Entry Fee is TBD at the moment.
