Hi Guys, I'm a big Tara fan and realy got exited about the scion, but I'm struggling to see its power outside of gimmicks, the only real use being removing what Tara give fast to to give herself more ap, the rest of her kit seems super niche, has anyone got her on the table yet, have you had good results?

  3. I'm playing a friendly on Monday so I'm going to try it. I'm not suggesting it as they are the best thing, but for 8 Ss for 2 they can screen tara, if they get shut down you get a Ss back and Tara is still k. They can chuck out loads of shots The plan hear is if they get high cards then good they have gone. Low then good I'm prob hitting as have a plus flip against ball crews having that many shots will make dents. The game plan is still to buff the big guys and do all the normal, but it just gives her a mini and cheep retinue to help out when the situation allows for it. Having 2 convicts is cool but about twice the price As I say, not claiming its op just saw a use for an amazing sculpt
  4. Hi guys, I have a few ideas in curious about. Has anyone tryed Montreasor I'm thinking pulls, lowers wp, forces card wasting Desperat merc Screen Tara with them, shoot them to give them fast and make them plus flips and drain the enemy's hand with all the -2 shots, keep them close for a Ss when they die and fast bubble when alive With Tara, and if so any good?

  6. Hi guys, I recently got bought dreamer, the buyer didnt realise but bought the translucent pink one. Dose anyone have any tips on how to glue these as polysciment will make the plastic iky I think. So what have otheres done
  7. Its been a while since I got to play and have no book, but if you want to tackle pandy my thought would be. Juju with fears and res upgrade and a gupp. Charge the gupp in and make him kill himself on pandys faild wp duel damage, pop out juju and use his 0 (I think that hits df). With a few turns of 0's and fears pandy and the sorrow clump will probably be hurting and you can 2x defensive stance with your othere ap so they cant do much back to you. I know this isn't making Lilith fight pandy but nb is all about coming at them sideways
  8. Its been a few months since I played, and I have no books with me, so I will get names wrong. She makes me win as I can deny a good size area with her for the whole game, and she puts enemy's into (at least the mind set of)lose lose situations I like her with Lucius for 2 reasons 1, she gives me an anchor, I found for along time that when he has all his underlings he is super strong, but remove a few and he flounders, candy gives him a sold figure that he can rely on being there all game, not advised but with her heal he can use her for Ss 2 I have found his ability to give out multiple commands to differant people can help the honey trap. For guild put a gun line behind her, this will make any crew lacking mobility cry and Lucius acts as a force multiplayer, austringers can also move cany up out of activation. For nb i use things like beckoners to reposition people to inside candy's aura, and as he can speed his commands around he can tell a beckoner to move then to lure then a second beckoner till lure the now exposed enemy into candy's pit zone, walderguest can give you cover to mean you need to get close to candy. Upgrades, for nb I go the damage aura and her own one, for guild I would take her own and not sure, cant remember if the armore one works But in essence put her own double meg on, give her htw and sit her in the way
  9. I struggle with the doppelganger she is a bit candy esq with me were she feels like she is doing nothing, but I tend to win becus of her. I have locked down what it is with candy that makes me win, but I don't know what it is with the dop yet, so it always feels like a week pick for me
  10. Well now I want an upgrade, (i dont mind who for) called surprisingly royal, that sounds fantastic

I currently run 2 illuminated a bb shaman and a lawyer then change based on scheme, slurrids for mobility, waldergiest for holding areas away from lucius, I like to surprise unaware players with a wicked doll (I posted some wear about the synergy's you can get with a bb shamy, illuminated and a wicked doll) but I they know to remove the doll early it tends to be a waste of points. If I have turf war or recon I take guild pathfinders' to trap the area in advance, any unused traps can be redeployed or burnt as a free Ss from lucius I don't like dashal/riflemen /guardsmen I never seem to get any points or fun out of them if your new its worth trying then for the experience but I finde them 1 dimensional and boring. With candy 1 or 2 beckoners can be useful to get people next to her out of turn and a doppelganger for getting first activation. The basic plan is to make the enemy have to many choices and there all bad, in game she is useful for holding a bottle neck and make the enemy burn half his hand befor he is doing something useful with his cards I take the aoe damage upgrade and her specific upgrade first turn or 2 move her into position and then every turn if you think she will take 1 or 2 hits then make her incite some one for paralyses and go double defensive if you think she will be hit alot do the 3 action innocent thing, and just sit back and watch your opponents face go red, on average she dose 18 damage 1 paralysis, gives me about 2 Ss out of her wd and completely messes up the enemy turn
  12. I got candy to do awesome work but, half the people I play dont want to play if I use her, and the others half (the half that listened when I told them how to beat her) have no problem with my 9-12 Ss investment, either way, one person has a wors game becus of her

What i mean is that if some one says gremlins, then I'm thinking ranged damage and short stuff, ressers is tough stuff with cheep mobility, where as outcasts and arcanists have so many differant things living undead construct ranged melee fast slow numbers beatsticks. You cant try and guess. The tool box element is that there highering pools are so huge and varied you cant tailor a list against them meaning you have to play what ever your best at but will then get beat If the have a soft counter. also even just in house these factions have answers others dont, I used to play arcanists and I never highered out of faction, now I'm mostly nb and I always have to, Johan, snipers, lawyers for lucius CUs in faction they are so lacking diversity that they cant cover there bases. Disclaimer, I'm not saying anything is op and broken and stuff, just that when I hear people saying there picking a faction to win they say arcanists and outcasts, Levi, viks (bit hit and miss), jackdaw, collet, rammos. So I think at the super high end they must have an edge, people go to tornies thinking need to have an answer to mech rider, where as the mech rider player isn't thinking about answers at all, just the best list they can make I love the game and I'm happy for it to stay as is, just if no one asks questions nothing ever happens

From what I hear, see and some times experience arcanists and outcasts have the most luck competitively, I feel this is from there huge toolbox variety, some factions feel they have concessions to keep theme were those 2 dont, they force the oponant to change around them without needing to change them self's but at the same time having all the answers Do you agree? Do you see the same trend? Is it ok? Discuss.

Something I'm mulling over (this is expensive and beat used on a turfwar style fight is Lucius Surprisingly loyal Secret objective (the mi one) 2 illuminated 2 wicked dolls Bb shamn Lawyer Then either 2 austringers or 2 pathfinders Basically the bb shamy spends the first few turns giving bb to everything except the guild stuff, the wicked dolls provide there aura of poison stuff and the damage 1 to heal one and buff out of activation on illuminated, the lawyer gives illuminated fees and htw then lucias tells the illuminated to attack a few times and they have there own attacks triggering fees 4 times for 4 bb hits and his melee, 2 of the attacks are out of activation giving them plus flips to attack and damage Blasts destroy this crew, and its better for fights than objectives, but it can steam roll through, and having so Meany 1 bits of damage they tear through armor and htk You can remove the 2 guildys and secret objectives to get 2 slurids for objectives I tried something similar without wicked dolls last night against a Seamus list and 1 illuminated killed 2 belles and wounded syblle, the austringers told people what to drop markers and I got of a 4 hit secret objectives neutering a rogue necro and a hanged,ost of my stuff died to, but I removed enough threats to win

Very sorry, put this in the wrong forum, I was looking at them on my phone and thought I went back to the main menu and insted went to the main beta menu, and yh I'm dislyxic and i spell it wrong when i type quick On the wicked doll thing I ment hurt the doll for one and heal a friendly for one and the freindly then gets a plus flip on all attack and damage flips out of turn

Hi, I have been looking at list building for lucias as NB again (went guild for a while with him, but I'm going to play him as a more aggro sudo fighter master for a bit and nb is better for this) A core of my crew idea is 2 illuminated and a black blood shamy First few activations are Shamy stabs both illuminated giving them bb Lucias goes and tells the shamy to stab him then walks up and tells the shamy to pustule him for the heal and the illuminated to start walking Then illuminated go and heal and move up My question is Are illuminated cost effective without often getting the brilliance damage buff? I'm taking them as Ss bodies as they mean I can recycle 2 Ss a turn and they can heal enough to negate it, and with the shamy I can use another then he can heal himself Then when I'm in the fight they can heal and the bb shamy can use them as aoe's. Side note, anyone tried wicked dolls with lucias, there out of turn buff seems realy good, especially as lucias is one of the few who can tell some one to hit twice

Yh, I'm thinking Witchlings for melee and condition removal Lawyers for plus flips Then a self healing Hench to body guard lucias (candy, sidir, ryal) Possibly hunters to position and punish early actions For some unknown reason I sort of want to put pathfinders in, but that is not backed by anything I do have a funny thought for Lucius getting stuck in melee with a ladyj esq model and swapping places with a trap so ladyj gets stuck, also traps are potential devils deal targets

I did think guild Lucius was better, I used to play nb Lucius and felt a bit hampered (I missed ranged attacks), but with what's coming in the beta test (possibly maybe never no) the hounds give him a cheap target that loves to be told what to do, and his conflux suite nb so much better, so I might go back to nb
  21. I was thinking more about the guild angle but sure id be interested to see how you get on. I finde lucias has a divide in his play style, most dual faction masters find a way to bring ideas from 2 factions together. Lucius however brings 2 clashing ideas Guild Like his wp stuff as they have wp buffs and condition cleanse As he is slow he can buff ranged stuff easy NB Can heal the damage he shrugs onto them Can use the mi buff better But guild cant realy get the most out of the mi buff and self damage, and nb cant real get the most out of the wp stuff(low wp and no buffs) and have no ranged attacks to benefit his slow 3 turn walk to the fight. The only way to gain Bothe sides is to take the upgrade and both factions, but even then its weak Have you ever tried sidir with him? And expensive pair could be sidir and candy, they can both heal, sidirs promises can make Lucius and candy tougher. Obviously there not minions and sidir isn't guardsman so its a bet eh
  22. Yh i supose combined ops is stronger than a focused crew, I finde my guns tend not to do as much as id like, and I want to get use out of Lucius mi buff
  23. Hi, has anyone found an aggressive melee crew comp that works on Lucius. I was thinking something like Lucius Secret service (I think its called) Scribe 2 hunters 2 wardens 2 lawyers Graves Use graves to guard lucius and help move him around, the become my main beater Use the others as 2 groups of 3 on either flank of Lucius and hop from side to side to give his buffs and ap to whome ever can use it, its a bit of a small crew. I might like to get stalkers in to remove paralyze if need be and they have good mi Also with wardens and hunters some smaller Ss cost modles to drain activations might be an idea. Any thoughts, what are you finding works. I don't like the guild gunline its boring to play and to face so was looking for something more interesting
  24. on the gender topic i find female masters tend to be the more fight masters and males ones the more supporty, that's only a tendency, not a hard and fast rule. so most people who like fights damage masters will have female ones i dont like debuffign as it anouyes my oponant, and i agree that annoyance lets you find chinks in there armour, but i would prefer my best to beat there best rather than making them think about to much to make the right call, i also hate when some one says " that super damage matur neph is about in combat, how about i use my nurse to stop it attacking, ha" it just makes my game less fun wial not really making there's any more fun. im the kind of person that prefers you to kill my model and be done with it rather than make it useless all game i prefer the more support master to the damage ones as i find them more consistent and more of a puzzle
