that is difrent becus the modle flat out can atack undead, makign it its pray dosnt stop it being undead, its in the wording. in stad of stating what it cant hit it states what it can, witch is the closest legal, not closest but closest legal so in your example if the rattler was made so it couldnt target undead and an undead dude was the closest he wouldnt be a legal target so he would have to go to the next closest and so on till you finde a non undead

k plain and simple chocobo is correct, the serpent strick rule is to target the closest "legal" target, hunting partner makes they shirkoms pray the only "legal" target and hence it is the one that can becharged. for instance you have three targets, a, b and c, in that order of closeness if b is the shirkoms pray, and cast hunting partner on the rattler a and c basicly dont exist, leaving only b able to be charged

humm yh, i dont finde i really use special forces, i dont like the lawyers play style, and the rogue necro is a more expensive sabertooth, so i might go for the trapper

hi guys, im lookign ot give marcus some ranged punch, and i wonderd what your opinions are trapper, 7ss i mention this guy because he is good against beasts (might need pairing with a raptor) but i dont know if its enough kearis, 8ss some more ss use, and some nice little abillitys, but costly and not beasty gunsmith, 6ss theas guys are just plain cool in my opinion, not perfect synergy with marcus, but one nice trick it hitting him with a raptor to make him a beast and letting him use hard way all in one go convict gunslinger, 6ss we all know this guy, bit ugly though

2 more watchers wondnt be the worst thing in the world, they will give you good card control and as they arnt insig you can do scheames with them, or anothere hunter as the one in the box will probably be your ride so the othere one can do its actual job of stalking and harassing, even a guardian would help, but might be overkill, and wont help you hurt stuff, but as you say, a peackeeper makes hoffman better no matter what pts value

good point, forgot about the hoff being forgiving of his constructs

and as the manaquin can only link to showgirls, it will never keep up with the hoff

the hounds still cost 6, but you get 1 more for your chache in the battle

in game fluff there is no discription as yet, but they can work together because of a german poem about a sandman esq creatur that steals childrens eyes eg corppelius and its auther i belive is c hoffman. im sure a following poster will put up a link, as i dont have one

i agree with the above post's, but in very small games eg 15 ss it can be an absoult butcher, against a pandora crew with say 2 sorrows and a teddy (not the best list for pandy i know, you can clean up her sorrows with np and stall the teddy with a maniquin untill collet/ corph can come back for the kill. so it works in small games, admitidy you may as well just have 2 corph's also as a support to some one liek ramos, it lets you have 1 insainly quick non insigificent guy to do things and kill any enamy who goes it alone

thats effectiv, but he wont be very speedy up the borde, thats why most peaple go for the peackeeper, you also only get armor 1 from them, and no cover from them cus there small

im a fan of the minner, i know it locks you out of ryle, and i do lament this, but a tunnaling hoff is amazing and really hard to kill, you second turn steal the miners mm and the hoff will kill most things that get in his way. i also use the mobial toolkit, and that can just spring to hoff when ever

just a thought, may have already been sead, armor is technicly a talant so if you shiald wall an armor 2 guy he gets armor 6 then assimalate it and the hoff gets to keep armor 6 for ever, i know he wants othere constructs to have armor but if you use him solo (dont) then it would be nice, also is reactivate tecnicly under the talants catagory like fast is, so if you make some one els reactivate can the hoff then steal it? my thought for him is to use the ss miner and tool kit, assimalate tunnaling and over drive the ss miner, move them bothe up using link in or tap power depending on witch i think will be more use full at the time (link in for alpha strikes and the like tap powere if i need to see more of the hoffs stuff), and the toll kit will spring to me when ever is most apropriat, secon turn steal melee master and heal the ss miner with toolkit or hoff if he can and from then on use a tunnaling, melee master, possibly fast hoff with ca 7 to beat face and then hide, backed up by the ss miner assasin and the toolkit of joy. ahhh i like the hoff he makes me happy

if he does ignor it then it will be the only ablility that ignors the ROE so i dont think it will, if it did it will be awsom for the hamlin players but bad for all the othere masters and vicer versa

it dosnt over ride it, if hamlin is closer you get a rat, if the othere trigger is closer then they get what ever they should

i think its decause when he dies and comes back in he is a new modle and hence has no debuffs and is then given the -4ca, and if he diead again when he came back he would be a brand new hamlin with 7 ca but would then go down to 3 again

well you can use the totem for one card and then abandon soul on a stolen to get 2 more, then the stolen becomes a rat. honistly untill i found out today that stolen arnt unique, i didnt know what to do either but they are so good for 3 ss that i think in a 35 ss list you can easy squeas in 3 or 4 and you use them and the ones your making for all of hamlins sac a freindly things and you still get rats. Basicly your buying a rat that isnt slow, can use bleeding disease and can be sacrificed to hamlin (without loss), and everyone says bleeding disease is rubish, and fair enough its not very versitiel, but it only has a cc or 10 and if you cast it with hamlin a few stolen a rat catcher a wretch and nix, you will get a few casts of and it will start hurting, as i sead in an earlyer post with hamlin dont focus fire, spread that desseis to all that you can in the first half of the game, after that take aim and destroy the way i see it my rats are going to die, most likely it will be quick to, so rather than swarming one thing with rats then the next then the next and having 3 guys who are un touched, i aim to get 1 or 2 rat bites against each person in range, and then capitalize on it in the later turns

the list im running at 35 ss is levi alyce 4 spa's jack daw rottan bell i like to start with spas because im lazzy and i prefer to no were i stand, in most games i end up makeing about 5 but i some of them are from the de so i prefer to know that i have a de rathere than risk it alyce is almost an auto include in a levi list, if you dont take her you arnt goign to automaticly lose but she makes things run smothe and gives support to levi on the battle fiald jake is amazing, tying things up buy pulling them in and then stoping them leav his melee range or using his othere spell to cripple masters rotten bells are worth 4 ss for there lure alone in a levi list, peaple trying to skirt you and stay just out of your range to rush you next turn get owned by the lure when the a&d comes out im going to give him a go but im happy with my list at the minute ow as a side note, if your doing tornys cheack first as lots dont allow jack cus hes "broken"
