  1. I would like to reserve the Freikorps Specialist. VIRTUALONMARS will be picking it up for me.
  2. Dreamer was part of the Wave 2 models. He has not been dropped. The final version of his cards was released in PDF form yesterday. You can find them here: http://wyrd-games.net/community/files/file/53-malifaux-wave-2-cards-low-rez/
  3. Excluding Henchmen and Masters, I would take a look at Merris LaCroix, Burt Jebsen and Gracie.
  4. That's a good expansion to what you already have. It will give you some great options for fast strats like Plant Evidence or Destroy the Evidence.
  5. Had an odd situation come up tonight. Freikorps specialist hits Collette with the You're Flammable trigger, while also doing enough damage to kill her. I blow the morale test, and she runs, then dies and goes to Slow to Die. Can she use a soulstone to heal while she is Falling Back? The book specifies you can't do "general or specific movement actions", and we weren't sure if that implied "general actions / specific movement actions" as two completely seperate categories. Or if it meant "General movement actions / specific movement actions" where anything that isn't a move is legal.
  6. Got in my first game with Collette tonight. Managed to deliver the bad touch to Taelor and a Convict Gunslinger. Off to a good start it would seem.
  7. I think Marcus. Based on that model list, I think you would benefit from adding a fast master in to your arcanist line up. Plus you already have a couple beasts to play with.
  8. Hey heretic, wanna borrow my rail golem? He loves rail golems.
  9. IMO, both options are pretty equal. The arachnid is more mobile and more durable, but the Rail Worker is more flexible. Either he can be more accurate from Paired, or he can ignore armor like the LSPA. And his moderate damage is better than the LSPA's. Shovel Faster can also help set up a target for Mei Feng to kill by applying a burning token in advance. I've been pretty happy with my Rail Workers, and have had them do some good work. And implacable assault means that if an opponent doesn't manage to kill them due to a metal gamin or something, they can really deliver a beating.
  10. Oh god, so awful! Just a terrible podcast! *presses repeat*
  11. Game Empire Pasadena will be hosting a Malifaux tournament this weekend. Game Empire is an excellent store with tons of room and lots of great people. We can support an almost unlimited number of players, so if you're in the area come on down. Gaining Grounds - Domination Format 30 soulstones, Single Faction Random Expanded Encouters Unique Schemes, All Schemes Allowed 85 Minute Rounds Tournament starts at 10:30 AM, 3-4 rounds depending on number of players. Entry fee details coming soon.
  12. Lately it has been a lot of Lucius and Lady J for me, but that is in part due to a fixed Master map campaign. I really do like all the Guild masters, and run all of them equally in normal play.
  13. I absolutely believe he is still worth it. Hoffman copying Protect and using it is still a natural part of his tactics to me.
  14. Ok, so in the new FAQ, we have the following tidbit: [h=4]If I am performing multiple Damage Flips, is each of those Damage Flips an individual damage source?[/h] Yes, unless it is stated that they are totaled and then inflicted. (e.g. falling or the Red Joker instruct you to total the amount and inflict it) In light of this, when Ryle makes multiple damage flips against a single model, does that model get to use its armor against each flip, since they are individual sources? I thought before that you totaled the damage, then subtracted armor. And previous rulings seem to support that. But after this, I'm not sure.
  15. I'm going to be in Vegas for 10 days straight for work, and wanted to see if there were any malifaux groups in the area where I might be able to get a game in. Is anyone playing in the Vegas area?
