  5. I would welcome you to come to gen con, and prove your list. I'm sure that there will be a tournament there. Or you could go to temple con if you are closer to that. I disagree with the ronin against Dm also. Considering no other models on the board and no wounds. DM moves into range hits for 3 damage min. Then ronin does 4 damage (your numbers) Next turn 50% of the time DM goes first and kills the ronin. 50% of the time ronin goes first and kills the DM, who then gets to attack the ronin again (but does not kill him) 50/50 odds seems pretty even to me.
  6. With Lady J I like to have 7 or 8. Her low defense makes me use up soul stone quickly. With Perdita I like to have 5, people usually find a way around her high defense, or just keep hitting her till I run out of good cards to play. I also will use a soul stone to get her trigger faster than you.
  7. Hey all I had a great time, thank you. My first game was against Mike. I took Lady J, 2 death marshals, Samael, Nino, and a witchling. Samael was cut in half the second turn from a mature Nephilim, Lady J took down 2 Mature Nephilim, and Lilith herself. Thank you Mike for teaching me how to play Lilith better. The second game was against Godspeed. My crew was Perdita, 2 death marshals, 1 witchling, nino, and the executioner. Seamus ran forward a little to much very early in the game. Everything shot at him that turn, and could not kill him. I was very lucky and got to go first the next turn, and Seamus fell to nino. If I would have lost init or if Seamus was a little more back, that game would have gone to the wire. The third game was against Brian. We had the same list except I took a witchling instead of 3 death marshals, and it made all the difference (not really but it sounds cool) The turning point as paperbagfox said was when his nino shot my perdita. I had my nino take out his (the imposter) nino. The center of the board was open for the most part, and I was able to cut down his units as they came to me after that. Brian was very fun to play, and it was another very good game. Thank you all for the warm welcome, and I hope I can make it up there again. I know that I won't be at the top spot again, but I will try to keep you all on your toes. BTW: Paradox it was great meeting you also. ALSO a BIG thank you to Nerd for running the event!:cheer2: I'm sure that I need to edit this for spelling.
  8. HA! maybe I'll bring some REAL Wisconsin snow to throw.....not your crap Michigan snow you guys get.
  9. HAPPY B-DAY, and may you day be as full of strippers as you would want it to be.

  10. The best I can do for you currently.
  11. I'll play anytime, just shoot me a pm. Malifaux isn't dead (it's only been out a little while). It's a good game with strong rules.
  12. That's a bit of distance from Milwaukee and Madison, but we would be glad to have him, if he wants to drive down here.
  13. What about using Renegade Steamfitter Johan as a bodyguard for Ramos? Ramos is a MS&U menber so Johan does not cost more, if he's close to Ramos he gets +2cb and he has good ranged and close combat weapons.
  14. Ahh I got you, it requires a certain piece of terrain. Very effective if that is on the table.
  15. How does the brass arachnid dig up a token?
  16. I will be there with two crews and fate decks. So if you don't have any models yet come on down and use mine.
  17. :nicodem back from the dead. Hey all, Milwaukee has a henchman now. What does that mean? Well Johnny it means that there will be some demo's coming up (quickly) (dec 8th and 21st at cavalry games) Also I am planning on a tournament in JAN. Onto the real reason I brought this thread back from the :dead: Will any one be at AIG this Saturday? I am planning on being there around 8:00ish if you want to throw some cards down....
  18. Trophy's are made.... And this time they are Oak.
  19. I will have both at the tourny. Malifaux, and some other game, that rhymes with warclean. :tj:
  20. I am completely in, hotel rooms are set, family is warned, and the cat is fed. Looking forward to playing! :elefant::thcow2:
  21. I would swap out 1 death marshall for a witchling stalker. Witchlings are better in close combat (then DM's), blow up, have the minus to casting flips, have scout, have a magical weapon, and can remove 1 effect from a model. They also are not to bad at shooting things, but not as good as a death marshall. I usually only take 1 though, it gives your crew a little versatility.
