  1. Good stuff! I guess the friend was very patient while you took pics and notes . Was a really fun report. I can do one or the other, not both usually.
  2. I feel that Resurrectionists just get stronger with more models on the table. The more bodies, the more summoning powers. It's just not fair
  3. Great story! Awesome battle, but the only issue is that Perdita is Immune to Influence, so you cannot Paralyze her with Nico's spell
  4. I carry 20 bases with me, and I usually end up putting a good number of them on the table. Admittedly, I start with roughly 10 models, so I leave most of those bodies myself And if the opponent has a large base living/undead model, that's 3 right there!
  5. Well, the plethora of Wp checks that they provide are amazing. Top that off with a spell that has no Rst as long as you have a 6+ :malimasks in your hand , and does 1/2/4 damage that's cheatable. Furthermore, if you can nail a master with the second spell whose name eludes me, you can keep them from healing for the rest of the game, meaning that they can only prevent wounds if need be. Also, it has the ability to penalize WP checks, and I believe Ressers use WP the most next to Pandora, so it builds well with those strengths. Give it a shot, see how you like it.
  6. Yeah, the last game I won was Treasure hunt. I had Sybelle snag the treasure, and then I nailed her once with the Hanged's Hangman's Knot to push her 4" closer, and then she got lured to about 4" away from the DZ. All that in one turn. Next turn, she walked in and took a nap.
  7. I'd be fine with Critical Strike as long as it didn't work on Undead or Constructs. :flute: Seriously though, if you guys are playing with the right amount of terrain, the Guild damage output shouldn't be wiping you off the board. Furthermore, with the different factions, you have different answers to the ranged output. Resurrectionists: Heal the wounds, or reduce all their damage all the way down to weak. Also, use Lures/Paralyze/Drugs to get up in their face. Arcanists: Spells and fast buggers can get you across the board, and with multiple means of giving cover to your troops adds to the survivability. Neverborn: SPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED and high Df stats let you double walk or even charge the distance those guns can shoot. Outcasts: Quite a few guns, and several tough characters. Also, the Guildies generally have lower Df/Wd stats to comparable models, so a couple of good hits really lets you take them down. Most all crews should bring some ranged or ranged protection, to let them deal with guns. And remember, it's the not the kills that net you the win.
  8. The reason that those models specify what they drop is because normally Constructs drop scrap counters. In this case, they drop corpse tokens instead. Otherwise, all living and non-spirit undead models that are killed [not sacrificed] drop counters in relation to their base size. [With the except of Judge]. Constructs that are killed usually drop scrap counters, HOWEVER, I believe the constructs will usually tell you what they drop if they deviate from the norm.
  9. 8 starter sets? Can't wait to see the rest! Good job.
  10. If only the Nurses had (0) Link, they would be so much more efficient. As it stands, you have to think a little far ahead in the turn with the Nurses. In the starter, they are a little weak, but if you don't mind proxies, the starter is great if you want to pop out Canine Remains early game. Turn 2-3 SS into Body Parts in the start of the game, and then use McM to attack/heal the FG into getting more Body parts either via spells or attacks. Use a Nurses to heal him up, and you should have 2-3 more Body Parts from that turn. Sure, that took you a turn, but now you can either pop out some doggies, or a whole new second FG, and then have them run around in Golem/Nurse pairs with the Nurses providing Armor/Df with Attendant/Bedside Manner, and the Golems running around beating face. Seabass and McM can do their thing solo, and are very self sufficient. It isn't a bad idea to give Seabass a Body Part early as well, as he can use it to heal himself until he gets into combat, and then he can go several turns without needing support and simply healing himself.
  11. Final pics on the masters updated in the first post! As for the blood splatter, I overloaded up my Citadel Standard Brush with the color I wanted, held the model about 3" away from the brush, and blew on the bristles as hard as I could, resulted in a spray that splatted the whole model, and then I went back in with the original colors to clean up the excess blood. I also dabbed the model very very lightly with a napkin to give it the blood stain look in some parts, so as to make it look like dried blood had stained the apron previously. Thanks for the interest, and all the good feedback!
  12. Sup Jackie! Time for some sweeet loving?

  13. Curse you! I don't have the funds to laminate all these awesome things for the game, curses again! Fine, I'll do it, but I'm sending you an invoice, No_signal.
  14. Personally, I try to put Mortimer into every[!] list I play. Reasons: 1. Exhume, while risky, is NASTY when you get it off early game. Why, look, I spent an action and GAINED a frikkin Punk Zombie or Rotten Belle. Or, started fueling Body Parts, or even saving it for a Flesh Construct. 2. He's got a frikkin shovel! A reach weapon with a great trigger, and some good damage output. 3. He can fling AOE of dirt, which is interesting. 4. His spell list is really versatile. 5. He can companion someone who really needs to go further, and can double "Fresh Meat" to get them in place. 6. Dude. SHOVEL.
  15. I think Sketch has a good idea there. Mixing it up is the way to go, especially since you can make more Witchlings.
  16. It might not be a bad idea to do it on the FG if you are going to send it into combat, and it may potentially die before it gets sacced. Especially if you can get it to reactivate, at Wk 7 with CB 10 and a , that's 2-3 attacks it will get. Just be sure not to do this when he's completely healthy. It may also be a good idea to kill him off yourself so you don't lose out on the tokens he will provide. Sure, that's resources, but you're going to get back 4 Body Parts from your FG.
  17. Nothing to see here, all pics in the first post.
  18. You, sir, are very bad for my motivation. Seeing those, and then posting mine,
  19. Good report! Hang in there though, it's hard when your girls keep falling down. That Final Repose is rather tough.
  20. That's awesome! Check out Charlie's Angels! :viktoria2 :perdita :rasputina
