  1. Sweet, now i'll spend my working hours daydreaming of cutting and putting together those K9s in some nasty combination of parts. And my wallet pocketses hurt just thinking of the release list.
  2. We are very happy precious... indeed we are and we are in need of some serious K9 pics arent we... yeeeess we's need picsesses for, the precious...
  3. I use a WWII army green mag pouch ($8), got 1 2.5" tray and 1 1.5 tray both pieces cut in half and paired like a sandwich. It fits 3 crews with extra minis, cards, ruler, tokens and rulebook. And lowers the geek factor by 25%. But using an AT platoon for Malifaux and Anima sounds just great, i have an Infinity Nomads army in one of those and still have some room left.
  4. The point is that when WM came out with that "i will kick you and you cant do nothing about it", each faction HAD a character of their own and we loved it for that. Now for the sake of selling more (and that is a fact based on the quantity of new units that only have mk2 cards and resculpts) we get a rule change thats was unnecesary and took the flavor out of the factions we fanaticaly loved. Thats why some press gangers and very old players left PP, a simple card change could have solve the problem of "brokennes". 2 friends of mine are pressgangers, we playtested every aspect of the new rules before everyone else had a chance to read a preview. I opposed the rule changes and gave my argument for it, rules were fixed, but the escence of the game was lost in an atempt to categorize everything for the sake of "simplicity" or so i was told. Its not a bad game, but now it is not what we were sold in the beggining. Evolution is natural in any rule system but you dont need to compromise the all around feel of the game so that you can sell more. What would be Call of Chutulhu without its maddening atmosphere...?
  5. I played GW games for many years untill they changed the rules yet a third time for sales sake and then i started WM when they first released their first rulebook. Took up a group of RPG gamers and convert them to WM and we loved it, loved page 5 and we all made our factions big. Then came the tournament rules and every player turned into a competitor and stopped to have casual, friendly games for the sake of been the best. I realized that PP was moving in a way that i could predict based on what i have lived with GW and i told my friends, then, came mk2. I was left behind because i refused to keep with it, cause i play for fun win or loose and WM players where i live were made to be competitors first. So i came back to GW (heck if i like the minis i buy them play or no play) and i found Malifaux's in his first steps. Now i dont have a playing group but i enjoy a good set of rules and minis, own a couple of games i'll never play (Anima, Infinity, Pulp City, etc.) but prefer to have a nice time playing not so often with some old friend, than to play every day and push the buttons out of everyone just because i want to win and be the best player there is.
  6. Ahhh shoots! Very, very late i am. I am ashemed. Good thing Ronins dont commit Sepukku.
  7. If this is in some other part of the forum please forgive me. I cant believe i am the first to congrat Wyrd for this new great minis. Love the Hangued and definitively love those Ronin.
  8. Cenotaph has a point, but this is not the right way to deal with it. I can relate, i live in an island, but worst shipping is paid if one wants to get minis from Spain or France, shipping could get to 4 times the value of the items ordered from Europe.
  9. find a happy place, find a happy place,findahappyplacefindahappyplace...:afraid:
  10. I do a type of rustic mold casting in wich i use a mixture of petroleum jelly and diesel fuel, this is done to make the separation process easier. In this case the final product must be cleaned to ensure that non of the lubricant agent interfere with the rest of the sculpting process (this includes painting). Most modern casters or industrial casting, use a lubricant that turns to "dust" or is consumed by the heat and almost nothing is left of the lubricant. If you dont feel your mini oily or dusty a simple tooth brush cleaning will do, otherwise as all have mentioned before, hot water and a mild soup will solve this. I just use a toothbrush or air can for my minis and never had a problem with primer or paint.
  11. Mine is fine but, as with all softcovers, if you leave it near a heat source or inside a car the pages will warp and the glue looses its hold. Also if left in too much cold certain glues will dry out loosing elasticity and all the book may fall apart. Spiral binding works great but i find the book looses sturdines and it wabbles in all directions. There are some book printers who will "hardcover" almost any softcover book.
  12. Cant find it, must have run out of it. It works exactly the same. You just have seconds to mix it and use it and you,ll need a dremel to trim if you use too much.
  13. I tried to weld it but heating the mini to the point were the weldding material will melt makes the other joints to frail. I have a drill bit set but (as strange as it may sound) the legs seam to expand as the drill went deeper. Had no problem with the borg or Ramos. One can also use an epoxy 2 part mix that you can find in automobile stores that is used for motors, the mini may brake from any other part but the joint will stay. Scratching the joint works for larger minis but this little spiders are something else.
  14. By the Gods you are right, must have been confused by her cowgirl look. M&SU need some work on the sexy side but she can provide some of that for now...
  15. A friend told me that steampunk aracnid swarms were impossible to pin, so i took that as a challenge and went of to work on a Ramos box. He was partialy right since the mini cant be drilled without causing some damage, but instead of drilling the mini i decided to drill the base. When you are cutting the spider from its metal "sprue" dont just cut the whole metal thing out, cut it in a way that you'll have an extended leg tip. The extra metal on the tip of the leg works as a pin. Glue the legs to the body, put it on the part of the base where you want it, drill holes where the legs would land and presto, you got a sturdy, almost unbreakable spider.
