  1. I have enjoyed the games a lot, too (with Ben, Rob and Will). Unfortunately, it seems that Fate was really against me that day :-fate , so I got the second to last position (not even able to get that famous wood spoon) :) But don't forget that the only lucky shoot from Seamus that day blew up her head :D
  2. I'm in, as the Spanish representative in the tournament I've been disconnected from Malifaux for a while, but it's time to go back with it *beer.goggles*
  3. I thought that he was a giant leprechaun:lol:
  4. Genial, me alegro de ver que ya hay algún otro español por aquí. No sé por qué la gente no se pica con este juego en España. ¿Sois muchos en Alicante? Saludos

  5. Hey Sezar, you are the first Spanish guy I see in the forum: Bienvenido!!! :vb_cheers (Sorry about :tj: )
  6. It's a little bit difficult to get the details of the dove over there:ahhhhh: Are you going to add the fireworks to the greenstuff model?:rocketwho
  7. Any idea where I can get one (or two, or three...)? Thanks
  8. Sadly, it's a little far away for me. I wish it would be in Toledo, Spain
  9. Yeah, +1 for this. And the posibility of ****** would increase...
  10. I would like to see the Flying Spaghetti Monster faction
  11. Seamus, of course. He caught me for this game: it was love at the first sight :seamus
  12. I usually play with Seamus, Sybelle, some Belles (2-3), and some Necropunks (2-3). If I have enough points, I also take a Bete Noir. I think that Necropunks give you speed, which is very valuable for some escenarios and objectives (for example, getting the treasure). Many people like to play with Punk Zombies, but I prefer the Necropunks for speed. I think it will depend on your style of play and your adversaries
  13. http://www.modelmaq.es/ :inlove: The web page is in Spanish, but they have a web forum where you can ask in English here: http://www.modelmaq.es/index.php?option=com_wrapper&view=wrapper&Itemid=98 I found them recently and have just launched a set of different cases for modelist/painters which are a dream. They are not cheap (and probably less cheap for USA due to the change into euros) but I think than someone could be interested. You can get almost everything you need inside for painting/modeling and travel with it everywhere. There are different case models: http://www.modelmaq.es/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=61&Itemid=29 Hope that you enjoy it (and be patient if you ask them, I think they are a little bit overwhelmed)
  14. I use to play with the complete Redchapel gang (Seamus, Mme. Sybelle and 3 Belles). In addition, I add a couple of Necropunks for speed and get objectives like Treasure hunt. Now I am waiting for receiving my new order with Bete Noir and Killjoy. Using just one Necropunk you can sacrifice it in the middle of the enemy gang and simultaneously summon Bette Noir and Killjoy: a pain for your adversary
  15. I have just recently discovered this new line of miniatures: http://www.smartmaxstore.com/ http://www.smartmaxblog.com/ Sadly, the scale is bigger than that for Malifaux in order to use proxies. However, I am impressed with the quality of the minis and I think they deserve some attention from all of you who like collecting and painting minis. The scale is 1:35 (about 5-6 cm each mini) and they are casted in resin. They are planning also a game to be released in 2010 (which I expect to alternate with Malifaux) called Smog 1888: http://www.smog1888.com/ More info about the game here: http://www.smartmaxblog.com/2009/04/finally-answered-questions.html Enjoy
  16. I will wait for the wyrd model , but if someone want to use a proxi, here is another option: http://privateerpress.com/iron-kingdoms/miniatures/umbral-sorcerer-infernal-umbral-reaver
  17. I think it would be also a good idea if you update the sheet with the Errata, for example, "(all) Search" does not exist anymore and has been changed for "(all) Scavenge" Otherwise, I find it very useful
  18. I think that Leveticus can also manipulate the first three cards of the deck (and suffering wounds in the process)
  19. I like the proxy for Teddy that you can see on the background of the third and fourth pics
  20. I found the post here: http://www.wyrd-games.net/showthread.php?t=7417 However, the links don't work :frusty: Could you provide another link, please? :bigthumb:
  21. Wow! I just ordered the unpainted version. An amazing scenery! :hypnotize
  22. Well, I have just played my first Malifaux game against my brother (25 SS). I've played with Seamus, Mme. Sybelle, 3x Rotten Belles and 2x Necropunks. My brother used the Ortega family: Perdita, Francisco, Nino, Papa Loco and Santiago. Because it was the first time, it took a long time for us to prepare the game and explain the game mechanics and abilities/spells to my brother, so we played only 4 turns. The terrain was Ruins with a Soulstone Vein in the center. Resurrectionist strategy was Assassinate and Slaughter for the Guild. Army of the Dead & Hold Out were the Schemes for Seamus & Co., whereas Bodyguard & Hold Out were for Ortega family (all of them Announced at the beginning). During the first turn, all the model walked trying to get a good position for the incoming combat, advancing towards the enemies and looking for cover (well, undead were less worried about that). The Rotten Belles advanced a lot thanks to Seamus "Belles of the Ball" & Shambling, and also the Necropunks. Ortega family was a little bit more careful, looking for cover instead of walking all the distance. At the second turn, Perdita entered the ruined house were the Soulstone Vein was located, but Mme. Sybelle walked until she reached the threshold standing 2'' from Perdita, and then using Call Belle to push one of her girls at 1'' from Perdita. Such Rotten Belle attacked Perdita but unsuccessfully. Meanwhile, the rest of the Ortega family was taking possitions outside and failed some shots, trying to keep away the undead and their master, Seamus. Third turn: first blood (or pieces of dead flesh). Ortega family got initiative, and Perdita made several attacks against the figure of Mme. Sybelle standing on the threshold. When the smoke dissipated after such lead storm, the creepy figure was still there and attacked Perdita together with the Rotten Belle. Both, Perdita and Sybelle, were heavily wounded but kept their cool. Outside the house, the rest of the Ortega family send hot lead on the undead wounding one Rotten Belle, and Papa Loco (honouring his name) run into the fray, being attacked and wounded by the Rotten Belle and the two Necropunks. Seamus shot his flintlock against Santiago, but he was out of range. And the fourth (and last) turn. Papa Loco is really, really loco. He exploded: casting "Take Ya With Me!" he managed to kill one Rotten Belle and forced Seamus to expend a lot of control cards to survive (him and his crew): many suffered wounds (6), and Francisco Ortega, who was standing near Papa Loco, was killed by the explosion. Of course, Papa Loco neither survived, and the Necropunks still standing near him received "BOOM!" (5 Wd), surviving thanks to "Hard to Kill". Then, Perdita run away the house to save her life, whereas one of the necropunks charged against Nino Ortega, killing him. Santiago shot and finished the other necropunk, but in that moment, Seamus casted "Arise, My Sweet", and the dead Rotten Belle walked again. That was enough, and the Ortega family retreat to fight another they and claim vengeance. However, Seamus was not able to get Perdita's head. Final result: Tie Resurrectionist: Assassinate 0 pts Army of the Dead 2 pts Hold Out 2 pts TOTAL: 4 pts The Guild: Slaughter 0 pts Bodyguard 2 pts Hold Out 2 pts TOTAL: 4 pts Now eager for the next game:explode:
