I have the best of Girls Aloud on my ipod and listen to them regularly.

Typical, after 5 hours of nothing happenign about 12 people all show up at once and the phone starts ringing off the hook! Only an hour until Malifuax time, I can't wait to try out Ryle. anyway folks, appreciate the entertainment but I've got me a floor to hoover, toilet to mop, cash to cash up and all the other rubbish that goes along with the end of the day. Kites ho'!

I agree about the lack of synergy within some crews, but I don't necessarily think it's a bad thing. I mean, if all masters were as synergistic with their crews as say Kirai, then there would be no variation at all. I like how there are crews out there that will only use a handful of models available to them but I also appreciate the 'super solo' masters and how they'll let you play pretty much whatever you want without shooting yourself in the foot. In the future (possibly the not-so-distant future) I wouldn't be surprised if Wyrd introduced 'Catalyst' minions which will gain/give buffs when fielded with a specific master. ie: (I'm just pulling these out of my arse btw) Death Marshal Officer - can buff Death Marshals (not that they need it!) and himself gains a bonus when in a crew or near Lady J. Arcane Interpreter - Gets/gives buffs when a nearby Master casts a spell (thinking of Sonnia here). etc. Remember though, it's still early days for Malifaux.I think we should hold our tongues until book 3 comes along, I'm sure Wyrd have some wicked things planned.

Bases aren't quite done yet, still missing something but I'm going to leave it just now. The black stuff/maggots will be dosed with water effects when they're finished Hamelin just didn't look sinister enough, so I gave him a hood which I think adds a lot to his mystery. Since Nix is a spirit, I tried to paint him in a sort of 'ethereal' green. Still nice and icky though.

That decision is entirely up to you! If it's a wee one you're going for first then pick something simple - an orky glyph or Malifaux card suit, that type of thing. Don't get a teeny trollblood symbol or teeny malifaux doll, you could do them a lot more justice at a decent size. Print out the ones you like at the size you'd like and take them down to your local reputable tattoo studio. They'll give you the low down on what's possible at whatever size you're wanting. edit: I always find it funny how this website doesn't recognise the word 'Malifaux'.

I was against Battle Engines (fearing Warmachine: Apocalypse) but this is too cool, and it's incorporeal Shouldn't be too long until the real Ashes and Dust hits the shelves though, judging by the next few months releases anyway.

I'm a pretty prolific painter, in fact it's probably my favorite way to spend an evening. However I do enjoy modding things to make them a bit more individual, and I'll rarely paint/model anything that can't be used in a game. So I dunno! It all merges together pretty elegantly. I'm just a geek
