yup, if its already weak, best to deal with it now and get it over with. No doubt itll break off during transportation and play. I'd pin it if possible. Otherwise get a good flat spot on the hand and hilt and glue em good (it'll break anyway though).

I'm of the school of assembling the mini first as well. Unless its something big and maybe an airbrush is involved or something like that. Most of the time, a lot of the spots that that will be difficult to get to will be tough to see espec on TT minis. Be careful with his ankle as its pretty flimsy.

I use a Reaper harpy as I don't care much for the Wyrd one either. Not to mention I started my Kirai crew well before the model was released.

Did you clean up the lip of the base at all? Thats the first thing I noticed. Cool blood platter though.

I think the hellfire ones in some of the studio pieces for neph are from Dark-Age. micro art make some sweet bases.

Thats a pretty broad question as the precast base market is pretty large. More specifics on what you were looking for would help. Most of them are precast resin and not really inserts.
