  1. If you know me, than you are not the only one! I watch Supernatural from Day 1 and I love it while being aware of its shortcomings. To me, it is like Scooby Doo without the dog and cooler versions of the gang. I like the one-shot episodes and the take on the obvious themes in a great way. They have to step it up each season, so Yellow Eyed Demon for startes, so when you thought Season 4 and Lucifer hits the rooftop, no... there is still God for Season 5.
  2. Essen is scarcely about miniatures. It was one hell of a difficult show for us the last year, as the visitors are mostly about board games and (that is SO different than GenCon) LARP accessories. If you think GenCon had a lot of foam swords and such, go to Essen. I think Salute, even though much smaller, is a way better place to be for a miniature game and company.
  3. I'm loving that line as it is such a rest from the detail cluttered minis (I love them too!). Painting a crew will be a pleasure.
  4. Sculpt by Jarek Smolka, Concept by Vicente Ruiz Gomez. Available at GenCon!
  5. The sculpt should be named "Tribute to the Industry Vets".
  6. Nope, these guys are one piece, at least the ones I've seen (the above).
  7. One thing worth noting: the price of the miniature is based also on whether the company goes retail and distribution way or not. If all of the mentioned companies (save for one I believe) sold directly only, prices would have been 40%-50% lower. You pay for the availability in the brick-and-mortar store.
  8. That is the constant problem with dynamic sculpts, ones that try to capture running pose. It's 100% correct anatomically, but once somebody says: he's tripping or he's kicking sth, you can't get that image out of your head!
  9. Yup. Computer is two parts, body, two arms and bazooka.
  10. As I am (and going to be over the weekend) super busy with sorting out the hundred pounds of miniatures and taking care of it making safely to Indy, Dr. Red is here two days earlier. Also, I couldn't resist taking a pic of A.R.C. assembled! Enjoy! Dr. Red (A.R.C. Hero/Villain, Level 2 Science) Concept: Melvin de Voor, Sculpt: Paul Muller, Paintjob: Nomic A.R.C. Assemble!
  11. THANK YOU WYRD CREW FOR NO PIRATES! I'm sorry Neomorte :
  12. You're sure you still remember how to paint? Go for Victorias as the rest is too easy to paint and you would be able to finish them in about a year. I think Victorias will keep you busy till next Olympics. On the serious note, can't wait to see you back in action!
  13. Changing a name... gotta feel like going to a prom party or your first bottle of beer ever. Yeah, I guess a hangman in the avatar+ "frustrated" might scare some potential investors and Bible belt retail Just beware of the multiple "FF" interpretations. And I don't mean Fantastic Four!
  14. Time for good old fashioned witch hunt; lots of fire and stuff. Concept: Vicente Ruiz Gomez, Sculpt: James van Schaik
  15. He, we don't do limited But there will be the named minion, June Summers, the tv reporter.
  16. Absolutely. He sets his bullets of fire, strikes with a burning fist and grants Fire skill to the attacks of his team mates. He is also tough as nails when it comes down to witchhunting thanks to his Dragon's Champion Action. Personally, one of my favorite characters to play, very straightforward and brutal.
  17. Don't you feel like it got very quiet online recently? Come on, holidays more often that once in 10 years are not for iron painters and iron gamers. Crowd of Pulp City fans pushed me against the wall and forced to spill these: Sgt. Bale (Blood Watch Hero, Level 2 Mystery) Concept: Vicente Ruiz Gomez, Sculpt: James van Schaik Boreas (The Forgotten Villain, Level 2 Mystery) Concept: Vicente Ruiz Gomez, Sculpt: Jarek Smolka Dr. Red (A.R.C. Hero/Villain, Level 2 Science) Concept: Melvin de Voor, Sculpt: Paul Muller
  18. OMG, so he won the elections!!!! The ship with newspapers haven't made it yet here, we just got the September issues.
  19. For all of you wanting to start Pulp City around the time of GenCon, check out the deal will have, it does require some pre-GenCon work from you - choosing your team! With that deal, picking up all-mokey team saves you about 25%! We also have a special non-GenConer deal (hey guys, I know it feels bad, but we are thinking about you!), the details are at Pulp City forums. GENCON Deal : Monkey Business Some of you will come to GenCon to buy your first team of Supremes. Since our Supreme count went up from 12 last GenCon to 41 that will accompany us in Indy, we'd like to offer you the comfort of choosing your own 5-strong Team. You will find the details in this PDF file. In the nutshell, choose 5 Supremes from the Hero or Villain list, pay 39.99$ total (4.99$ on the pre-order invoice). Come yourself or send your ninja to the booth 502 to pick it up. Some biggies may modify the cost but usually that means you get a sixth guy for the team (Apebot gets Virus for instance). This deal saves you anywhere from 10% to 30%!
  20. Mechape = Apebot Bombape = Dr. Red Zombiemonkey = ehhhh, not gonna happen any time soon. There'll Super Zed though for all zombie lovers, to be seen at GenCon as a preview. Next batch for A.R.C. will include a whopping 4 new models but only 2 new characters  One of them will technically not even be a monkey/ape but will be French! The other one's name will be Silverager. So much for the puzzles! Glad you like him!
  21. Howler, the solo of A.R.C., sculpt by Paul Muller, concept by Melvin de Voor, paintjob by Nomic. Available at GenCon or September everywhere else, comes in a box with ubercool Dr. Red. www.pulp-city.com
  22. From the looks, it seems like being a Numidian back in these days was very amusing.
  23. I knew it smells like Moa as soon as I saw Legends of the High Seas linky. Yiu? Come on Moa, come back and be... Moa again. You're making it hard for Bexley again. Btw if Moaboavoamoavatu shortens to Moa, is your second nick Yiuliuyiuatu? (in case you wonder, yes, I am sober. Yet)
  24. Thanks Everybody! Wartoad: We like this guys so much he will probably be in the demo Supreme Team at GenCon, as he is a blast to play with all his abilities to raise stone spires out of the ground etcc.
