Any new good game will crush The "old timers" in your group. New figs, new strategies, systems, etc. What more importantly is after the hubbub dies down and people settle into habits, you will be swayed by what ever is the new army/rule set is launched. We played Uncharted sea's for awhile, now its out of interest with only one (me) or two interested in playing it once in awhile. Malifaux has many things going for it that I think will keep peoples interest and in their groups rotation for a long time to come. The most important is the huge dedicated community that surrounds WYRD, the unique world, unique combat system, unique set of figures, and don't forget ZOMBIE HOOKERS!!

Ran him in a LJ list and he did fairly well, as was mentioned he will eat up your control hand. The faulty circuit draw back only came up a couple of times, which surprised me- i expected it a lot more based on my hot/cold luck.

It's an exact duplicate of the art - which is great. I had my book open during the assembly. If you dont have a pin vise now is the time to invest in one, it will help you putting it together greatly and keep it that way.

I did the laminate for my WM/H cards and it worked great. I did them my self at you local copy shop that has a self serve deal. Had no problem with separation I kept a border of about 1/8 inch. I am using the sleeves like most, as the folds in the cards may mess with the process and shape after lamination.

There is a tool called a "file card", find a industrial tool supply store and ask for one. Its a short stiff wire brush with hooked bristles. They are cheap and work like a champ.

The cans are 8oz (240ml) each. A local shop owner gave me a sample to try also, but i havent gotten around to using it. I really told him it comes down to cost, I havent bothered checking that yet anybody throw me a bone? I will work with some tonight and give some feed back tomorrow.

They did produce a couple of box sets in unpainted plastic a few years back, with a couple of more planned in the pipe. They were like the multi-part 35mm historicals, very nice. I ussually dont poo-poo prepaints, but am very dissipointed in these being done this way.
