  1. The studio versions of Som'er Teeth, Gremlinette, and the whole Pandora starter set were sealed with it. It's gotta be good enough for at least somebody.
  2. What Outcasts have caught your eye? We'll happily tell you who will sell their services for coin or stones. Convict Gunslinger and Taelor are excellent choices. Bishop is too.
  3. Krylon Gloss, then Krylon 1311 matte sealer. the 1311 gives the same results as Dullcoat, costs the same, but it's a full-sized can, not the little mini can Testors hits you up for. Dead flat, and a great way to cheat some blends, too.
  4. totally did the corners on the front and the stripes on the back. i even added a few white lines over the stripes to give the feeling of the writing across them. It's the best way to go and you've pulled it off really well.
  5. Actually, my cards have water effects flames on top of them. I can get some crappy pics taken this weekend. Gotta find some time to get my photographer friend to take good ones, though. I mixed a tiny bit of yellow ink in with the water effects to tint it, then I blobbed some on top of the cards. I teased it out with a toothpick. Once that dried, I added another layer of orange-tinted water effects coming up from the first layer. I drybrushed a slightly darker orange on top of that when it dried. St. Anger, you got any pics of yours? I know I saw her during playtest back in November or December. Pics are coming. I promise. Did anyone get pics of TBK kicking my butt on Saturday night at Gen Con? Sonnia's bound to be in those pictures.
  6. Don't you Canuks have Staples and/or Office Depot? email me.
  7. Lady J the Vicky Twins Raspy _____ (I just refuse to speak the name of Ramos) McM Teef Nico
  8. To give credit where it's due, St. Anger was the first to do the cards, and I was the first to bring them out fully painted. Still, Pens, those are awesome. I like the fiery colors on the sword. i went with a more electric/magical blue, and I think I like yours better. Of course, it would clash with my red coat. Very cool model, there.
  9. Is this the same Wombat Cowboy from the FAIL forums? I still can't place a name with a face, but if it's the same, I'm glad I hooked you.
  10. Nathan, they've totally improved the graphics on the new version. It's so life-like, you'd barely remember the 2600 version existed.
  11. All of Guild works well this way, particularly the Death Marshals crew and the Ortegas. And using Resurrectionists as a foil is always fun. Rasputina is a good enemy there as well. The person playing the demo will see "ooh, scary ice people" and get a rough impression of what they might be able to do, letting them have insight into how they want to play so they can find the "tricks" faster and more easily.
  12. I was leaving Joss' bra straps out of this. As long as he's doing his job as a bodyguard, who are we to judge?
  13. nah, found a label maker online. totally took less than a minute.
  14. figured the Blue jay would work with the same palette. a Crow feather could be a nice insult to the Resurrectionists, though.
  15. Way to go, Matt! I hope the Piglet base ideas work for you.
  16. The cards are totally worth it just so you don't have to reference which suit equates to which "normal" suit. Sure, you can learn it quickly enough, but when you've got cool art and the damage play aid there as well, it's just another reason to get the deck and enjoy.
  17. hahaha! I actually had an intellivision for a bit.
  18. Damn! I totally forgot about Weresharks!
  19. that's an idea that belongs to someone else. besides, zombie dogs with lasers are all terrain. sharks are screwed outside of the water.
  20. They've got versatility. Speed, camo, and pack's companion ability. plus, if they hit you, they can bite you a lot of the time, too. And the best reason of all: CATFISH MEN!!!!!!
  21. Happy Birthday Breten and RedScorpionsGirl! Brett, this one's for you personally.
  22. W&N7, Cheap Joe's Dragon's Tongue line, and Escoda are the brushes I use the most. My 1 and 2 from Cheap Joe's are awesome. they're a natural sable (of course), and have the same spring and length of my Series 7, but they don't puff out as much in the body. I like my Series 7, but my Dragon's Tongue gets to be my workhorse because I sometimes feel that the Series 7 holds too much paint. Of course, there's no real difference in cost to me. I'll but whichever one is the better sale price in the catalogie when I need to replace it. Sometimes the Series 7 is at a better price, sometimes the Dragon's Tongue. My Escoda 0 has been getting used for close to 3 years now. I had to cut down the handle (why they felt a 0 needed a 8+" handle is beyond me), but I've been very happy with it. I tried a 2 from Isabey. I'd heard good things, and the price was about the same. I actually had two of them. Both of them constantly lost bristles, and they are now smaller than my 0, and are just ratty. I'll never buy an Isabey brush again. Dick Blick is a great place to pic up brushes, but I always check Cheap Joe's Art Supply first. Joe is an artist and started the company. most of the workers there are artists. And the lines of brushes they make for each medium are really great. As I said above, I'll put my Dragon's Tongue up against my Series 7 any day.
