  1. Ello, I just started playing again after playing when the game launched. I found my Gremlinette and shes basically NIB. Anyone have any thoughts what shes worth? If I can sell her to help me buy new models I think I might... TT
  2. JMP makes some bad arse terrain=P

  3. Procreate or begin creating spawn somehow, nurture them and in time you'll have both tax breaks and "gamers"!
  4. Pandora isn't as straight forward as the other masters can be. Teddy will give you a solid starting area (her main issue at the starter level is fixed by teddy) and from there after a few games you can make your own decisions on the crew. Another blister of dead hookers is first thing I'd recommend for Seamus, plus his totem is an AMAZING model and the rules are really solid as well. Rasputina loves the essence of power totem, but the wendigo is really cool looking, so thats a toss up. I like running the cat swarm over constructs but that requires a few blisters (2-3 hoar cats and the big guy). The December acolyte is a really solid investment with her (anti undead and helps with the slow speed of her starter). So Tina box plus totem and acolyte is prolly how I'd do it!. The gremlin starter is a great thing to double up on! Okay maybe not literally but either doubling your gremlin numbers, or the warpig is normally what I'd recommend. A Hog whisperer/piglet, is a welcome addition for the pigs. You certainly can play 25ss with a starter and a hog whisperer blister. From there you can decide if you want the stampeding pigs or the gremlin swarm! Regards, Ryan
  5. The best "killing yourself" thread I've found. http://wyrd-games.net/forum/showthread.php?t=9332&highlight=dumb+luck
  6. Friendly bump, hope to see you at the event. Ryan
  7. JMP sells terrain I bought enough for a single table and am heavily contemplating getting more! It's really high quality stuff. Ryan
  8. Just a heads up there is a group of us who play Malifaux every week at http://www.skullgate.com/ in Lakewood Colorado. We play on Fridays from noon on. There are tons of tables and we're always ready and willing to do a demo game. You can pm me here or on the skullgate forums. Hope to see some of you there, Ryan
  9. My kid just turned 1 last week so ya it's defiantly different. I do get to blame my sub par painting on her as she will walk over to my painting table and just shack it while I'm painting ><. Ryan
  10. HEY! If you're ever down in denver on a friday shoot me a pm! We play and enchanted grounds in highlands ranch and newly Skull gate Games in lakewood on Colfax, we'll be playing this weekend if there's any chance of you making an hour plus drive to hang out with a bunch of guys and toy pseudo soldiers... Ryan!
  11. Gah! The fates have conspired against me. I'm a freelance graphic designer and I've been offered work tomorrow. Sadly I can't turn down the money, so it looks like I'll miss out on Enchanted Grounds AGAIN!! Doh! Maybe we can meet somewhere else at some point. -J

  12. I was actually the recipient of this Gremlin village and I'd like the say the work was very nicely done. He built the terrain to order and it all has a very nice theme/feel to it. I got more than enough to cover a 3x3, with Malifaux lvl's of terrain. The price was extremely reasonable imo, for custom work and he got the entire project done in under 10 days. i highly recommend him for anyone looking to buy terrain. Regards, Ryan
  13. Hey welcome I'll try to answer your questions as best as I can. 1. Factions can use any model in their faction. The only restriction there at this time are some totems are bound to certain masters. 90% of the time your list has to stay in faction. There are some models that allow the taking of out of faction models however. 2. The factions are nearly that focus'd imo. The guild have hard counters. The ortegas shoot really well, Lady J is an anti undead machine, and Sonnia is an anti magic user caster. Out of the guild LJ is the combat master. There is no shooting faction, melee faction, magic faction they really can do almost anything. 3. A standard deck of cards works you just need the little guide. The suits correspond to different suits in malifaux. There is a quick reference guide stickied that is great for that. 4 and 5 fall together it's pretty unique. Not sure who coined it but; "I'm often asked what genre and elements make up Malifaux ... that's simple, its: Steamvictoriohorrorwestpunk! Hope that clears it up for you." is a common line. When doing terrain (there are rules in the book) the location chosen/random'd could be any number of places. A swamp, gremlin village is going to look much different that a wild west prairie town. It's a large area that is filled with different themes. Hope that Helped, Ryan
