Sculpta the squig

Hwllo AWA, I my name is Sculpta the squig, and I am an army whore. Yes, I got the spearhead box, my friend who works in the LGS gave me a 25% discount and I couldn't resist. I intend to significantly convert them, as the poses you can get straight out of the box can be rather dull. first impressions of the kits are good, clean casting and sharp details. Could use some more accessories on the sprues though. Enough chatter, here is a shitty picture of the first bloodletter I've converted. There are some really dynamic conversions in the pipeline. Any C&C appreciated. Squig

Quite like the sculpt, hate all the heads and skulls. And apart from anything, the skulls look really "cartooney" and ugly. With far too long teeth and stuff, If I do get it I'll be removing all that junk. Squig

Hi everyone, this is the finished Alice in Wonderland commision I've been working on recently. Fantastic piece of kit to work with and paint. I really liked doing the colourfull bit's for a change and painting the centipede (which I had been dreading) was really fun. Photobucket has reduced the image size slightly, but I took some closeups too. I think that well painted eyes really add something to a piece, so I tried very hard to do that with the red puffy eyes of the centipde (with dillipidated pupils), Alices blue eyes, and the White rabbits "red" eyes. I am really pleased with how this came out and I tink it's one of my best pieced to date, I will be sad to part with it lol. The kit is from Andrea miniatures, and is in 54mm. I'd love to hear what you all think of it, good or bad. Especially what you think of the centipede's blue coat (especially what you think, Ritual, EricJ and Nathan:tongue1:) Eek the closeups are unforgivng Squig

Definately looks better, but maybe if the shoulder higlights blended in a bit more;) Sorry, I know I'm being a pain but you wanted us to rip it apart Squig

On the shoulder closer to you when viewing the picture, I cant help but think that it looks a bit silly how the higlight gets really intense and then stops. It wouldn't do that IRL, and I think it'd look much more realistic if you continued that highlight up a bit. Squig

And I'd redo the hair on the back in black, I think it would sui it better colour-wise and now it looks drybrushed and scruffy. Squig

It will be PPP, but with a limited edition resin one. The resin ones are limitedto somthin like 200 I think:( Squig

Looks really "PRO" (PrettyRevoltingOverall), but some of those vein look painted ontopof the skin and not under it. Utterly revolting though Squig
